Hello, If the person has T1 diabetes, then the only treatment is taking Insulin injections for lifetime. There are no oral drugs available. The reason being in these persons there is No Insulin production by Beta ells of pancreas. Since Insulin is needed for glucose, protein and fat metabolism constantly, then it has to be supplemented every day from outside. So it is said in Type 1 DM Insulin is needed for treatment and for survival of the patient. Thanks.

I am 21 years old male. I am suffering from stammering. This hurt me too much when I sit in friends group, talk to a person. Kindly tell me sir what should I do.

You have a problem with fear. The fear has to do with people and more so if they are people in authority. If you deal with that fear, then a lot of your stammering will stop. Talk to a counselor and sort that out. There will still be a residue affect left because of pure habit. This can be resolved by some exercises, which should begin with real earnest right away. Practice speaking aloud in a closed room, but this time, choose words for which your stammer is most. Also practice singing sentences but ending the last word as a statement that is read. Next time end with two words stated, then three words etc. The lip exercise: with tight pressure press and roll the tip of your tongue against the edge of your lips, clockwise first and then anticlockwise, as many times as you possibly can. Purse your lips into an ‘O’ and withdraw it back stretching it like when you say an ‘E’, several times a day. Drop your lower jaw and flip it left to right and right to left, as many times as you can to loosen it. Practice making a resonating sound by increasing and decreasing the volume within the same breath. Sing the vowels A, E, I, O, U stretching each vowel as much as you can.

you could either having error of refraction of vision of eyes get your eye sight checked up. by eye specialist. or most likely you are having acute frontal and maxillary sinusitis may be associated with nasal septum deviation and nasal polyp. do regular warm saline gargle twice a day. have homemade freshly prepared lemon juice which is rich in vitamin C thereby increasing your body autoimmune system which prevents infection. go for regular morning walk followed by free hand exercises. have lot of water by mouth. it will be alright.

Dear Lybrateuser, -Give rest to the part, do not strain, lift weight, do exercise -apply over the counter pain killer gel three times a day -do hot fomentation three times a day -take tab Brufen 400 mg three times a day after meals.

Chest pain is due to different causes can be muscular can be due to dyspepsia can be a cardiac cause but cardiac cause is of less importance at your age I personally feel it be a muscular cause but do get an ecg done to rule out any thing.

Dear lybrateuser, - Your problem could be due to costochondritis which is inflammation of the bony joints of the chest bone - avoid exercises like pushups, pull ups, lifting heavy weights, bending till pain subsides - take over the counter pain killer tablet after meals if problem is more - do x- ray chest to find out the exact cause.

Follow these simple steps to ensure a good sleep every night and stay away from sleep disorders and other health problems associated with unhealthy sleep habits: 1) maintain a regular sleep routine go to bed at the same time. Wake up at the same time. Ideally, your schedule will remain the same (+/- 20 minutes) every night of the week. A good sleep hygiene routine promotes healthy sleep and daytime alertness. 2) avoid sleeping during the daytime. It can disturb the normal pattern. 3) avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol near bedtime. While alcohol may speed the onset of sleep, it creates problems in he second half of sleep. 4) exercise can promote good sleep. Exercise should be taken in the morning or late afternoon. Yoga, can be done before bed to help. 5) have a quiet, comfortable bedroom. Set your bedroom thermostat at a comfortable temperature. Generally, a little cooler is better than a little warmer. Turn off the tv and other extraneous noise that may disrupt sleep. Background'white noise' like a fan is ok. If your pets awaken you, keep them outside the bedroom. Your bedroom should be dark. Turn off bright lights. Have a comfortable mattress. 6) avoid heavy meals close to bedtime. 7) ensure adequate exposure to natural light. 8) avoid emotionally upsetting conversations and activities before trying to go to sleep. Do not think of, or bring your problems to bed. 9) stop using all your digital devices and stop looking at digital screens be it mobile phones or televisions at least 1 hour before the time you plan to sleep. Instead try reading a fiction book near bedtime so it makes you help relaxed and de-stressed. Sleep well live healthy and live longer.

If you have recurrent attack of headache1. It could be a tension headache due to anxiety/stress, depression inadequate sleep, low bp/high bp, migraine, prolonged use of cell phone/computer, chronic anaemia, refractive error, chronic sinusitis, organic brain lesion 2. Avoid stress, physical and mental exertion, have adequate sound sleep for 7-8 hours daily in the night 3. Go for regular exercise 4. Practice yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise to calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress 5. Check for refractive error, sinusitis hemoglobin, bp 6. Avoid prolonged use of cell phone/computer 7. Consult neurologist to rule out other causes of headache, if required take a ct scan of head to exclude any brain lesion 8. If it is migraine you have to take migraine prophylactic drug after consulting neurologist 9. Consult me for further advice.

Even though this is a normal part of human sexuality, society frowns on it and young people are often taught to avoid masturbation. Lack of knowledge and opportunities to talk about it have given rise to a number of myths on this subject. Let's take a look at a few of them. 

Masturbation can damage the genitals
Touching your genitals is very unlikely to damage them. The sex organs are designed to withstand friction and hence are very tough organs. The maximum damage that can be caused by masturbation is a little chafing. Using lubricant can prevent this from occurring. 

It causes health problems
Pleasuring yourself is the ultimate form of safe sex. There is no way for you to catch an STD or for it to cause any sort of mental health problem. The only risks involved are allergic reactions to lubricants or toys and a feeling of guilt or shame due to societal pressure. 

It lowers the chances of you having an orgasm during sex
Masturbation does not reduce your sex drive or prevent you from having orgasms. Many people also claim that women get addicted to vibrators and cannot enjoy sex without them. However, there is no truth behind this. 

Masturbation is akin to cheating
Single people as well as people in committed relationships masturbate. While it can lead to problems in a relationship depending on your partner's views about it, it does not amount to cheating on him or her. 

It can cause blindness
Blindness is the most outrageous myth associated with self-induced orgasms. Till date, there has not been a medical case to prove it. 

It causes infertility
Pleasuring yourself does not reduce your chances of getting pregnant or getting someone else pregnant. However, for men with a low sperm count, restricting ejaculations while trying to get their partner pregnant is a good idea. The only way masturbation can lead to infertility is if partners who share sex toys do not 

keep them clean and pass on STDs through them.

She should start taking vitamin d supplements along with calcium. Uprise d (60, 000) iu. Once a week for for 12 weeks. Tab calcium sandoz 500 mg once a day for 1 month sunlight exposure for 15-20 minutes, (8-10am! sunlight only consult privately for any further help.
