I am 23 years old and have a very heavy backbone pain problem from last 1 year. I can not seat straight more than 5 min.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to actually have persistent back pains. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. May be you are working. So it can be cervical too. So take rest. Avoid forward bending of neck. Do isometric exercises of neck. Be careful about posture. Avoid use of high pillows.

Hi. I have been suffering from leg pain and weird feeling in my right leg and now back back for 6 months now and I can not stand on my right leg for more than 5 min. My all blood tests came negative and got my L/S Spine result yesterday only which suggested diffuse disc bulge causing thecal sac compression and bilateral forminal nerve root compression seen at L4-L5 level.

Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

This type of pain occur when you work for long time sitting with head down working on computer or mobile phone reading etc you have to correct your posture and take break in between your work.

Hi. You have knee pain. Most probably because of body weight. Anyways there is no use of any medicine for permanent cure. Best physiotherapy is the only way to get cure permanently. Well with proper treatment. Precautions are must. Do not do cross leg. Do not squat. Do not use stairs. Do not stand prolong or walk. These are common precautions and it depends on your condition as well. My recommendation is to go with precautions and do hot water fomentation twice a day. With all these you will get little bit relief and try to find a good physiotherapist where you need ultrasonic, ift and laser treatment (if available)

Menses irregularity is may be due hormonal changes and due to nutritional deficiency. First you take nutritious diet like iron, calcium contain food. And if still problem remain then get ultra sound of lower abdomen and thyroid profile.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

Kindly show me a photograph & digital x rays of affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days. Bio d3 max 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I am having pain in muscles and bones, in muscles when pressing and on bones throughout. Can be in any part of ribs, feet, calf, joints, bones leading to fingers, chest, shoulder, back and where not. Peaks while resting/sleeping. My CRP and RH Factor are Negative, Vit D - 19.4, Uric Acid- 6.2 and CPK-119. Tried many pain killers like etoshine, Repik, Ocerin. Am on Calcium 500 tabs with weekly Calcirol. The pain obstructs sleep. Has to stretch legs and apply balms to get some relief. Can you suggest some medicine?

I believe that you are having osteoporosis. You require several steps to get rid of the problem. Over and above increased milk intake and sunlight daily, you require to start general exercises, deep breathing exercises and undergo daily body and mind relaxation. If possible, undergo Dry Needling under physiotherapist.

Hello, you might be suffering from the back pain caused by long continuous sitting posture and sedentary life style. You are advised to take 10 minutes break after every 2 hour sitting. Start a morning walk for at least 30 minutes. Regular walking is also very helpful as it is a wholesome exercise of the body, improves blood circulation. Try to maintain a correct sitting posture. Take homoeopathic medicine rhus tox. 200, 5 drops twice daily for 10 days, then revert me with feed back.
