Backacke can be due to numerous reasons like back strain, big tummy, slip disc, lumber spondylosis. You can do following home remedies: 1) mix camphor in coconut oil and boil it. Massage it followed by hot fomentation. 2) have turmeric & honey milk. 3) put a hot-water bag on back supported by a cushion. 4) add ginger while brewing your tea 5) if you are overweight, go for weight loss program 6) stay away from cold, go for hot water baths.

Avoid long sitting tk a stool and keep your leg straight in sitting time a soft pillow for back support. Do stretching exercise of spine and legs. Heat fermentation twice a day.

Hi lybrate-user. As per your doctor consult, you should take medicines at least for 3 months to get some good results. You can also add dry fruits, milk and milk products, soybean for the calcium source. For vitamin d3 take fish cord liver oil daily in your diet, add a egg yolk once in every 2 days. Take timely meals.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Please note that there could be a injury to the tail bone - this can be even caused by sitting too long in one pisition on rough surface, etc. Please do hot compresses if this relieves. Also take mag phos 6x - 4 times daily for next 3-4 days. Get back to me for further treatment.

Posture correction must. Avoid long sitting, toward bending and lifting weight. Do hot fermentation and rest if it work then ok otherwise tk physiotherapy treatment and do stretching exercise in daily routine.

Hi, I am a hypo thyroid patient. Struggling to lose weight from quite sometime, not getting results. I can not do heavy workouts or aerobics bcz of knee ligament injury in last year. I am 25 years old and I fall down while playing no injury happened but I got shock from Knee upto half an hour I am unable to walk and after that it is ok. After few months same happened I went for X Ray and scanning but nothing defect found. Recently one week back also same happened What may be the cause. Thanks for your suggestion sir but it is getting repeatedly. Sudden shock coming whenever playing or movement like that.

Hello, if pain is not after an injury and if its diagnosed as osteo arthritis then regular exercises will help you rather than taking pain meds. If there's no swelling use hot packs to relieve pain and if there's marked swelling try using ice packs. Keep your knee straight and keep a towel roll under the knee, and press the towel roll downwards with the knee and hold for few secs. This exercise will be help you in long run. Seek a professional for more exercises which you can continue at home.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.
