Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

You should have proper sleep hygiene. Sleep at same time daily. No coffee or tea after 3 pm set the room temp at 70 degrees farenheit take a bath 2 hrs before sleep with epsom salt use diffuser with lavender essential oils in bed room lack of proper sleep is the trigger factor for chronic lifestyle diseases.

Hi Lybrate User, Each body is different. You should not compare with others. Aim is to be strong and fit. To gain some weight, you need to eat healthy. Take small meals but eat something solid every 2 hours. 1. Take at least two fruits per day and one glass fruit juice. 2. Take one peanut butter sandwich daily. 3. Eat 20 almonds / cashew daily 4. Drink full cream milk, curd, lassi, chikoo shakes etc. 5. If your are non veg you can have more eggs, chicken, fish. 6. Dals have good protien. Have more rajma, kabuli chana, soya beans etc. 7. Avoid junk food and colas. Avoid chips and other namkeen. 8. No need for any supplements. Nature has best products. 9. Go for regular walks / exercise / do yoga. Sleep well. Take deworming tablets every six month.  Feel confident about yourself and be positive. All the best.

I did my MRI and this is the report:- CONCLUSION:- Cervical spondylosis disco-osteophytes & right paracentral at C6_7 intervarteble disc ,encroaching on right foramina, causing significant compression of the subarachnoid space & right C7 ventral nerve root. Annular bulges at C4_5 & C5_6 intervertebral discs, causing indentation of the subarachnoid space. It is my request that please explain me this report and also suggest me any treatment or precautions that I should follow onwards. Also please suggest me about exercise if necessary. Waiting for reply.

Make digestive system good with walks, pranayam and digestive herbals. Make take shivakshar paachan choornas and'agnipradeepan' choorna 1/2 tsp each after meals twice a day. After a week start brunghnadi herbal combos with ashwagandha, shatavari, akarkara etc and prawal, mukta, amla etc with milk twice a day. Food should be rich in carbs. Seasonal fruits are to be added. Curd in the morning only. Report every fortnight. Continue for two months in the beginning. If you need best raw herbs based and properly processed combo of brunghnadi herbs, may opt to get from us too.

Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

I have pain below knee in the bone please help is it a strain or something else ?

You should see an orthopaedic surgeon first so that he can evaluate where exactly the pain is and advise appropriate tests for the cause of pain. Sometimes low Vitamin D causes bone pains so get serum vitamin D levels(blood test) done and see the doctor with the report.

Do following exercise to be healthy 1. Swimming 2. Skiping 3. Pull-ups 4. Suryanamaskar about sleep sleep has some type I tell you 2 type 1. Beta sleep = in which we are in dream if you take this kind of sleep it will not good even you take 8 hr 2. Delta sleep=in which we sleep very deeply if you take this kind of sleep then 4 hr is also sufficient 3. If genarly you ask me we should 3 hr or 6 hrs or 9 hrs because our sleep cycle is complete in every 3 hrs so you should tkae sleep ik this then only you feel energetic. Diet maintain input out put ratio. Whatever you eat calculate calories that called input calories after that do exercise and burn some calories that is out put calories. Eat less exercise more weight will loos have a barley soup at dinner have a dinner at 8.00pm and sleep at 10---11.00pm. Avoid rice at night. Calories calculator you will get on google download it.

Hi lybrate-user Firstly you have to start taking more proteins in you diet like daals, eggs, milk and milk products. Also take a carbohydrates like potato, bananas. Also excercise daily for an hour. Sleep well for atleast 7-8 hrs. You will increase your wait. I hope you do not have any stress, or any other physical problem which might be causing the weight loss. If yes then take homoeopathic medicine for your immunity. Takecare.
