Holistic Healing and Wellness

Body and Mind are the physical manifestations of Supreme Energy .They get inflicted with pain, sickness disease on account of attachment to emotions like anger, jealously, fear, ego etc in our day to day life. Everyone cannot endure it with utmost calmness and positivity. Many gather negativity pessimism, guilt and remain frustrated forever. They develop abhorrence towards life.

As a doctor I feel that the only solution for this is to make them realize about their Inner Consciousness. This Consciousness is merely not a word but a connection with the Real Self; a mother who nurtures, cares and pours affection on her progeny.

Conceiving this on my clients I could observe a huge change in their health, their excitement growing gradually. They could explore their hidden potentials, strengths; became passionate, optimistic towards life. Indeed they could surmise a purpose to their life. They were healed at all levels be it physical-mental-Spiritual. They could face the world fearlessly and were accepted in it whole heartedly. So a simple holistic environment could do wonders with minimum efforts.

Time to ponder over it and communicate your inner apprehensions and queries to get healed at the core. Isn’t it!

I am 20 years old my height is 4.10 inches, I want to increase my height I am very short. So please suggest any medicine to me.

Ayurveda, Ambala
Dear, there are methods by which you can gain height. Do these exercises regularly and you get the goal of height gain: * first stand straight bare foot on floor, then raise your arms upwards then raise your heels of foot with breathing in, try to stand on heels for 10-12 seconds and slowlylower down your heels back on the floor and breath outthe air. Repeat this exercise 5-8 times in morning. *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towardstoes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily. You can privately consult me for understanding more exercises. * firststand bare foot on flat surface, now move your heels upwards and raise your arms up. Start walk on the front part of feet with heels upwards. Walkatleast 8-10 steps. Repeat this exercise for 2-3 times in a day. 2. Take 300 ml of rich cream milk, 200 gm of cheese and 2-3 eggs regularly. It will definitely give boost to your bone growth. 3. Sit in sun rays for atleast 8-10 minutes in morning of evenings when the sun rays are not so strong. It will help you by getting adequate quantity of vitamin-d. 4. The growth and height iscontrolled by growth hormone whichis secreted by pituitary gland situated in the brain. So take meditation and have a stressfree lifestyle. Take 6-8 hours of sleep daily. Meditation makes your pituitatry gland healthy and working properly. 5. You can also adopt the surgical techniques which helps you gaining desired height.

Hello my cousin is 28 years old and he do gyming regularly but he drinks and smoke can he take amway protien for body? is it safe? his age is 28 years and height is 6'1 and weight is 89kgs. He is married and he want to make good body

PGDD, RD, Bachelor of Home Science

Proteins are not stored by your body. Just adding extra proteins will not help. You must have a diet also good in carbs, fats etc. Proteins will be utilised well only when the body has a good amount of carbs and fats. Smoking and drinking has no health benefits. Also taking supplements will not nulify their harmful effects. So, any supplement is recommended only if your body is insufficient or deficient in that nutrient.

I am losing hair quickly and have tried all shampoos but no effect yet. I am not sure what else can I do Can you please help me with this.

MD - Dermatology , Venereology & Leprosy, MBBS

Hello lybrate-user thank you for posting on lybrate I appreciate your concern regarding hair fall. Hair fall is usually ascribed to multiple factors like diet and nutrition, hormones, stress, acute or chronic medical conditions, drugs, cosmetic products etc. Since you have not mentioned relevant history and description like pattern of hair loss (patchy/diffuse), family history etc, its difficult to put a definitive diagnosis. Still, it seems you are suffering from either androgenetic alopecia (due to hormones and genetically determined) or telogen effluvium (due to any recent stressful event or any other medical condition) if I were your dermatologist/trichologist, I would like to take through history including family history, history of recent major trauma /illness/ stress/ medications etc, and recommend some basic investigations like cbc, blood sugar, thyroid function test. Also some other special tests like trichogram and dermoscopy can aid in diagnosis and prognosis. I would suggest you a course of oral tablets containing biotin and other essential vitamins and minerals (tab. Follihair new) for minimum 6 months. Also, would put you on solution containing 5%/10% minoxidil once a day and a hair serum/gel containing peptides for hair growth at night.(q sera, grocapix etc). I would advise use of gentle shampoo and conditioner on regular basis and use of coconut oil twice a week. Also enquire from your dermatologist about upcoming treatment options like mesotherapy and platelet-rich plasma. Avoid combing in wet hair and let them dry by wrapping in towel. Avoid blow dryers and hair-color/dyes. Take plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet and try to de-stress your routine life. Hope your queries are resolved and wish you best of health. Thank you Dr. Hardik pitroda.

I have pimples on my chicks I tried so many medicines for pimples but pimples can't stops and they seems very bad what can I do.

Dear lybrate user, pimples/ acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory skin disease which develops due to blocking of the hair follicles in skin. These blockages occur due to 4 abnormal processes: 1) excess sebum production due to androgens 2) excessive deposition of the protein keratin leading to comedone formation 3) infection of propionibacterium acnes (p. Acnes) bacteria on the hair follicles 4) local release of pro-inflammatory chemicals in the skin. Neither can you stop the overproduction of androgen or keratin protein nor can you stop the release of pro-inflammatory chemicals because all these processes takes place internally in your skin. However you can stop the accumulation of p. Acnes bacteria on your skin by preventing your skin from getting oily. Always keep a handkerchief with you wherever you go outside. You should wipe off the slightest amount of sweat from your face as soon as you perspire on entering your room from outside wash your face with an oil-free, non-moisturizing face wash. Take a low carbohydrate diet. Do some exercise daily. Drink a lots of water to avoid constipation. Avoid pricking the pimples or popping the sebum as it may lead to black pigmentation & permanent scar formation. You can also take homoeopathic calcarea phos 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach also you can apply homoeopathic mother tincture berberis aquifolium q on the dark spots on your skin which are produced after the resolution of the pimples.

Conversion Disorder - Causes And Symptoms

Conversion disorder is a psychological disorder in which psychological conflicts get converted into physical symptoms.

The disease is also referred to as a functional neurological symptom disorder. In most cases, this disorder has an impact on your ability to move, your senses, vision, hearing capacity and ability to swallow.

Causative factors

The main cause behind the onset of a conversion disorder is generally a sudden traumatic event (real or imagined). This may also happen due to an emotional conflict or any other mental health disorder, which directly or indirectly affects your brain in an undesirable manner.

Though the exact factors which cause the disease are still unknown, it has been proved by medical researchers that the disorder affects that part of the brain which controls the majority of the senses, muscles, and nerves.

Identification signs

The symptoms of this condition may usually appear immediately after a traumatic event, be it physical or psychological. Some of the most common symptoms of this disorder are listed below.

  • Weakness or paralysis of a body part
  • Loss of body balance
  • Moments of unresponsiveness
  • Abnormal, sudden and abrupt body movements such as tremors
  • Swallowing problems such as lump in the throat

Some of the symptoms of this disorder might also affect the sensory organs, which include:

  • Abnormal numbness of the body
  • Speech related problems or inability to speak (psychological mutism)
  • Vision related problems such as psychological blindness
  • Hearing problems and difficulties

If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a psychologist.

General Physician,
Chickens which are grown with injections and other steriods are not good for consumptions. Broiler chicken is not good for health They eat harmful chemicals in order to get ready for maximum meat production and gain fat. 2. Due to chemicals and injections they face, they grow 3 times faster that the normal chicken. They have growth hormones related problems, which can affect us as well.

Dear user. I can understand. You have to recheck. If you hip bone size is large it can only be corrected with the help of reconstructive surgery. Otherwise, if you feel that your hip size is more because you have fat deposited around your hip, the only alternative is to exercise hard and remove the fat deposit. Take care.
