Hello, Include the following for getting better vision: Vitamins A, C, E, and minerals like copper and zinc are essential to eyesight. Get the antioxidants from dark leafy greens, egg yolks, yellow peppers, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and carrots. Include garlic, onions and capers. Blueberries, grapes, and goji berries have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help improve your vision. DHA is a fatty acid found in coldwater fish like wild salmon, sardines, mackerel, and cod. Exercises for eyes: Warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. Roll your eyes. Start by looking up and then slowly circle 10 times clockwise and 10 times counterclockwise. Focus. Hold a pen at arm's length, focus your eyes on it, and slowly bring the pen closer until it's about 6 inches away from your nose. Then slowly move it back, keeping your eyes focused on the pen, 10 times in all. Massage your temples. Using your thumb knuckles, massage your temples in small circles, 20 times in one direction and 20 in the other. Repeat the same actions above the mid-point of the eyebrows at the forehead, then below the eyes on both sides of the bridge of the nose. Take a mini-nap. Put your head back, close your eyes, and relax for 3 minutes. Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night. Rest your eyes 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent reading or in front of the computer. If your eyes feel overly tired, lie down and place cooling cucumber slices over your eyelids. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine which will help you in preventing rather reducing the power of your eyes. Take Physostigma 6/ thrice daily for 1 month. Thereafter, revert back for further guidance.

मोतियाबिंद आंख की एक स्थिति है जिसमें आंखों के अंदर लेंस अपारदर्शी हो जाते है, जिसकी वजह से दृष्टि अस्पष्ट हो जाती है। आयुर्वेद में, मोतियाबिंद को टाइमर या लिंगानाशा के रूप में जाना जाता है, जो उत्तेजित वात दोष के कारण है।
हमारी आंखें प्राकृतिक कैमरे के रूप में कार्य करती हैं। बाह्य स्रोत से प्रकाश हमारी आंख में प्रवेश करता है, और कॉर्निया और आंख की पुतली को पार करने के बाद लेंस पर पहुंचता है। लेंस फिर रेटिना पर प्रकाश को केंद्रित करता है, जहां छवि बन जाती है। मोतियाबिंद होने पर, आंख का लेंस प्रोटीन भंडार से धुंधला हो जाता है, जो लेंस से प्रकाश को गुजरने से रोकता है। जिससे दृष्टि धुंधली हो जाती है। 
यह एक सामान्य बीमारी है। ज्यादातर मोतियाबिंद उम्र बढ़ने की प्रक्रिया का परिणाम है। उम्र से संबंधित मोतियाबिंद के मामले में, लेंस की शक्ति में वृद्धि हो सकती है, जो निकट दृष्टि दोष (मिओपिया) का कारण बनता है। मोतियाबिंद, आमतौर पर दृष्टि हानि पैदा करने के लिए धीरे-धीरे प्रगति करता है। हालांकि, यदि अनुपचारित छोड़ दिया जाए, तो यह पूर्ण दृष्टि हानि पैदा कर सकता है। 
 

मोतियाबिंद के विभिन्न प्रकार हैं:
- आयु से संबंधित
- जन्मजात
- माध्यमिक: ये अन्य चिकित्सा स्थितियों, विषाक्त पदार्थों, पराबैंगनी प्रकाश, विकिरण या कोर्टिकोस्टेरोइड या मूत्रल जैसी दवाइयां लेने के परिणामस्वरूप होती हैं।
- ट्रॉमेटिक: यह आंख को चोट के परिणामस्वरूप होती है
 

मोतियाबिंद का आयुर्वेदिक इलाज
यदि प्रारंभिक अवस्था में इलाज किया जाता है, तो मोतियाबिंद में आयुर्वेदिक उपचार बहुत प्रभावी होता है। आयुर्वेदिक उपचार में उद्देश्य, शरीर की बढ़ती ऊर्जा को कम करना होता है। आमतौर पर मोतियाबिंद के उपचार के लिए निर्धारित आयुर्वेदिक दवाएं हैं: 
1. महा त्रिफला घृता:
महा त्रिफला घृणा की मुख्य सामग्री त्रिपला और गाय का घी है। यह मोतियाबिंद  के लिए सबसे अच्छा उपाय है, लेकिन यह केवल बीमारी के प्रारंभिक चरणों में उपयोगी है। यह आमतौर पर दूध के साथ खाया जाता है। इस जड़ी बूटी के 2 चम्मच की दो बार दैनिक खपत मोतियाबिंद का इलाज करने में मदद कर सकती है।
2. त्रिफला:
यह आमला, बिभीतकी और हरिताकी का एक संयोजन होता है। रात भर के लिये पानी में कुछ त्रिफला पाउडर भिगोएँ। सुबह अपनी आंखों को धोने के लिए इस पानी का उपयोग करें।
3. चंद्रोदय वाटी:
यह रक्त परिसंचरण में मदद करता है और आंसू को बढ़ावा देता है। यह आंख के ऊतकों को पोषण भी प्रदान करता है। इससे पेस्ट बनाने के लिए शहद के साथ मिलाएं और इसे अपनी आंखों पर लागू करें।
 

अन्य प्राकृतिक उपाय और सुझाव जिनका पालन घर पर किया जा सकता है:
1. गरम दूध मे इलायची के दो टुकड़े मिला कर रात मे सोने से पहले पीएँ।
2. लहसुन की 2-3 लौंग खाएं या उन्हें अपने दैनिक आहार में शामिल करें। लहसुन एक अच्छा शुद्धीकरण एजेंट है और आंखों में क्रिस्टलीय लेंस को साफ करता है।
3. गाजर का रस मोतियाबिंद के लिए एक बहुत अच्छा और सरल घर उपाय है। इसे दो बार दैनिक रूप से लिया जाना चाहिए। 
4. अंगूर और संतरे भी मोतियाबिंद को ठीक करने में मदद करते हैं।
5. मोतियाबिंद के लिए एक बहुत ही सरल और लाभकारी घर उपाय किशमिश और खजूर लेना है। बस उन्हें रात भर पानी में भिगोएँ और फिर सुबह में खाएं।
6. बादाम, काली मिर्च, पानी और चीनी का पेस्ट बनाएँ। मोतियाबिंद का इलाज करने के लिए इसकी खपत भी फायदेमंद है।

Hello, there are few food items which helps you in boosting up your memory power, increases focus & concentration, so try to take more of these: 1. Choline: good sources of choline include liver, milk, eggs and peanuts. 2. Vitamin b: b vitamins are not synthesized in the body, and thus need to be obtained from food. B-complex vitamins are water-soluble vitamins, which means that they are not stored within the body. In consequence, the b vitamins need ongoing replenishment. Vitamin b1 (thiamine) rich sources include unrefined grain products, ready-to-eat cereals, meat (especially pork), dairy products, peanuts, legumes, fruits and eggs. Foods that contain high concentrations of vitamin b3 (niacin) in the free form include beans and organ meat, as well as enriched grain and cereal products. While niacin is present in corn and other grains, the bioavailability of the nutrient is much less than it is in protein-rich sources. The role of vitamin b9 (folic acid) during pregnancy is vital to normal development of the nervous system in the fetus. Good sources of folate include liver, ready-to-eat breakfast cereals, beans, asparagus, spinach, broccoli, and orange juice. Medication: take homoeopathic medicine for increasing memory - anacardium 200/ once daily. For eyesight: get your eyes tested from an opthalmologist. Include the following for getting better vision: vitamins a, c, e, and minerals like copper and zinc are essential to eyesight. Take a few deep breaths to increase oxygen in the blood. -warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. -hold a pen at arm's length. Focus your gaze on the tip of the pen. Bring the pen closer to your nose at a slow and steady pace. Repeat this exercise 5-10 times. -concentrate your vision on the tip of your nose. Then shift your gaze to an object further away, either at arm's length or 20 feet away. Then shift your eyes back to the tip of your nose. Repeat this exercise 10 times. -sit in a relaxed but upright position. Begin by look to the left-most position (without moving your head) and hold to stretch your eye muscles. Hold for 5 counts. Blink and return your gaze back to look straight in front of you. Then look to the right-most position with your gaze and hold for 5 counts. Repeat 3 times, blinking between each hold. Then, repeat this exercise looking up and then down. Do not forget about blinking. -sit in a relaxed but upright position. Look up and to your right for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look up to and to your left for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look down and to your right for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look down and to your left for 5 seconds. Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night. Rest your eyes 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent reading or in front of the computer. If your eyes feel overly tired, lie down and place cooling cucumber slices over your eyelids. Medication: take homoeopathic medicine which will help you in preventing first and then reducing the power of your eyes (if the eye power is less). Take physostigma 6/ thrice daily for 1 month and instill euphrasia eye drops twice a day. Thereafter, revert back for further guidance.

Lasik is a simple laser procedure which changes the shape of the cornea so that the light rays fall on the retina properly. It is a painless procedure. It is a day care procedure does not require any injections, does not require admission, you can simply resume your duties in 2 days. Cost varies from centre to centre. Side effects are usually limited to dryness of eyes for few months. We can do lasik anytime after age of 18 years. You need to undergo proper prelasik checkup to decide whether lasik is safe for you or not

Your power is not much & your age is less than 21 yrs, you should get your eye checked up & if needed change your glass .If there is no change of glass then it might be due to dryness & you should use Systane ultra eye drops 5-6 times daily to get immediate relief.

Meibomianitis - 8 Things That Can Trigger It!

In order to see clearly, the eyes need to be constantly lubricated. This function is performed by small glands located in the eyelids known as meibomian glands. These glands secrete oil onto the surface of the cornea through tiny openings on them. Malfunctioning of this gland can create an excessive amount of oil.

When oil accumulates on the eyelids, it encourages the bacteria present in the eye and the skin around it to multiply leading to inflammation. This condition is known as meibomianitis. Adults are at a higher risk of suffering from this condition as compared to children.

Some of the factors that could trigger meibomianitis are:

  1. Allergic reactions
  2. Fluctuation of hormones associated with puberty and adolescence
  3. Acne and other skin conditions
  4. Lice or mites on the eyelashes
  5. Unsanitary contact lens solution
  6. Contaminated eye makeup
  7. Certain medications such as isotretinoin for acne that increases bacteria on the eyelids
  8. However, in some cases, a clear trigger factor may not be identifiable.

Some of the characteristic symptoms of this disease are:

  1. Dry eyes
  2. Constant watering from the eyes
  3. Inflammation and reddening of the eyelids
  4. Burning sensation in the eyes
  5. Itchiness
  6. Flaking of skin around the infected eye
  7. Heightened sensitivity to light

  11. Frequent formation of sties

Hello I am sorry but at this age there is no cure or treatment for visual recovery. Eye transplantation is no cure. but dont loose hope there is new treatment "visula stimuation exercises" which is very promising

Hello, you may be having headache because of stress/ refractory problems/ any ENT problem or may be Migraine Headache kindly follow advises given below: you can take(If No drug allergy) : 1. Tablet Crocin (Paracetamol 500 mg) one tablet after food when required for headache after food for 2-3 days (maximum 2 tablets with gap of 12 hour can be taken in a day) 2. Adequate sleep 6-8 hr in a day 3. Get check eyes for refractive error 4. We need to go for ENT evaluation to rule out sinusitis 5. Get BP checked 6. Regular physical exercise and meditation and yoga complete history of your headache for further management like duration, severity, aggravating factors/relieving/ triggering/ associated factor to reach diagnosis consult physician for further management.

This condition is called Eye strain, or asthenopia,in which the eyes get tired from excessive or intense use. It can be annoying, but it tends to disappear with rest. I have not slept for almost one week now. All I have in brain is stress. I am an engineering student and with exams coming and going I always find it difficult to stay stable. I have cataract in my left eye in my early age 40 years what is reasons behind it.
The lens inside the eye works much like a camera lens, focusing light onto the retina for clear vision. It also adjusts the eye's focus, letting us see things clearly both up close and far away. The lens is mostly made of water and protein. The protein is arranged in a precise way that keeps the lens clear and lets light pass through it.But as we age, some of the protein may clump together and start to cloud a small area of the lens. This is a cataract, and over time, it may grow larger and cloud more of the lens, making it harder to see.No one knows for sure why the eye's lens changes as we age, forming cataracts. But certain factors that may cause cataracts or are associated with cataract development. Besides advancing age, cataract risk factors include: • Ultraviolet radiation from sunlight and other sources------------------- • Diabetes-------------- • Hypertension--------------- • Obesity-------------- • Smoking---------- • Prolonged use of corticosteroid medications-------------- • Statin medicines used to reduce cholesterol------------- • Previous eye injury or inflammation-------------- • Previous eye surgery------------ • Hormone replacement therapy-------------- • Significant alcohol consumption------------ • High myopia-------------- • Family history--------------------------- One theory of cataract formation that's gaining favor is that many cataracts are caused by oxidative changes in the human lens. This is supported by nutritional studies that show fruits and vegetables high in antioxidants may help prevent certain types of cataracts.---------------------------- Prevention of Cataract--------------------------- Although it iss still a debate if Cataract can be prevented but a number of studies suggest certain nutrients and nutritional supplements may reduce your risk of cataracts.-------------------------Some studies have shown that higher dietary intakes of vitamin E and the carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin from food and supplements were associated with significantly decreased risks of cataract.--------------Good food sources of vitamin E include sunflower seeds, almonds and spinach.---------------------------------- Good sources of lutein and zeaxanthin include spinach, kale and other green, leafy vegetables.----------------------Other studies have shown antioxidant vitamins such as vitamin C and foods containing omega-3 fatty acids may reduce cataract risk.-------------------Another step you can take to reduce your risk of cataracts is to wear protective sunglasses that block 100 percent of the sun's UV rays when you are outdoors.-------------------------- Myself is a homoeopath andI have found inmy clinical practise that Cataracts in the first stage can be prevented with some very effective homoeopathic medicines along with Specific Diet and Exercises.Consult me with your details.

If symptoms are sneezing, Running nose, blocked nose 1.Take proper rest/ lot of fluids 2. and Take proper home made diet. 3. Do Steam inhalation carefully by steam inhaler twice a day for 2-3 days, 4. You can take Tablet Levocetrizine 5 mg one tablet after food once a day bedtime for 3 days.(if no drug allergy ) Consult me for further management
