Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Sir I am suffering from back pain over one week ago I already consulted a doctor but not relief so what should I do sir tell me one reason sir.

B H M S, MD
Homeopath, Thrissur
Low back pain has to be assessed for its cause with x rays and mri if needed and the exact cause needs to be identified before coming to treatment. Pain killlers will only make you not aware of pain and will not cure it. So resort to proper treatment with physiotherapy. Proper homoeopathic treatment can cure this condition.

Hi lybrate-user, Did you check for cholestrol levels or if you have water retention? I would definitely encourage you to have at least 3 lt water daily and consume less salt. So, avoid foods high in salt. This would include salted nuts, chips, papad, pickle etc.

Erasmus Mundus Master in Adapted Physical Activity, MPT, BPTh/BPT

If you have problem in your legs then it might be due to ligament laxity where your legs would become very weak due to the old ligament injury and that should be treated immediately. It leads to leads to buckling of the knee while climbing stairs it is very risky and dangerous and it is due to ligament laxity or due to any untreated old injury of the knee ligaments. Wear knee cap so that you will feel firm while walking or climbing stairs.
