My legs are paining a lot, I didn't walk so much. I've tried many balms pain relief sprays but didn't get better. Can't sleep due to the pain what to do?

For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day.

I am 48 years male, I am have right shoulder dislocation problem for past 5 years, After every dislocation it will reset its own after 5-15min time and the process is very painful . What is permanent solution for stop dislocation. I am playing badminton and table tennis regularly, Kindly advise me

Recurrent shoulder dislocation has to be operated arthroscopically after proper evaluation. How many dislocation have you suffered till now? Repeated dislocation causes more damage every time it gets dislocated. Please visit a shoulder surgeon before damaging you shoulder more. I am advised by my doctor to take dolo for my arthritis pain for my knee pain. Of course it is very effective and it relieves my pain up to 2-3 days. I am not diabetic. Is it safe to take very often for a prolonged time?

Last 2 month. Ok tk x-ray and calcium supplements. Change your foot wear. Do calf stretching exercise. And heat fermentation with warm water gentle massage of foot. Otherwise tk physiotherapy treatment.

You may be suffering from viral fever/flu. Take plenty of water/liquid diet and tab. Paracetamol 500 once to twice daily as sos basis for fever and body pain. Consult physician in case of not improving by 2-3 days.

My dad rides bike for almost 2 hours up n down to reach his work place n his legs are paining a lot. What should my dad do to reduce his pain, he is using some belts to reduce his pain for instant was that necessary or should he do anything else? Then I hope I get a good reply .

When my left elbow pops, sometimes it pains. It happens only in left elbow. I am a regular student. I used to do regular exercises earlier but not now. And sometimes there is mild pain without doing anything. And sometimes in the left side of the shoulder also. My right shoulder & elbow is perfectly alright.

Dear lybrateuser, - Avoid lifting weight, bending too much, exercise with the left elbow till the pain subsides - apply pain relief gel three times a day - take a pain relief tablet if pain is more - if not much relief then an x- ray has to be done & consult a doctor.

I am feeling joint pain at my knee from past few weeks suggest me some suggestion.

Knee advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Hi, I have pain on the top of the left foot for about 2 weeks on walking and when I touch that area but not on rest. I have flat feet. I used pain gel and wrapped it, which helped but again it started on walking. Please suggest.

Maybe you have a ligament tear, should disappear on its own, try wearing a shoe with correction for flat foot.

I am 23 year old cricket player, a bowler and I have the problem that I can't throw more than 2 overs with same potential continuously and even I can't throw a ball more than 3 times with my full strength as my hand starts paining in the elbow joint on the flat side not on the pointed elbow.

You need to work on your rotator cuff musculature. Usually strengthening and stretching of the cuff and muscles around the shoulder helps. Once the endurance builds you wil not be experiencing any difficulty in throwing. Though thorough evaluation of shoulder and elbow is needed. I would recommend a visit to a sports physiotherapist nearby.

I am a 25 years old male and have pain in my left hand for last 2 months. What should I do?

Requires detailed examination and investigation. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

Hi Doc, I m a 35years old male without a job, married and have 3 kids. I am very much worried with my weight. My height is 5feet 9inches and I weigh approximately 120kgs. I have gone thru the material ober tje internet flowing like flood but tjey all say me to either jog or run on treadmill about an hour or so. I can not really jog or run or neither walk briskly (due to excess weight I suppose). I am happy to walk slowly and gradually increase the speed of my steps. So, here comes the question how can I steadily reduce my weight and melt this excess fat on my body? Would you recommend any plan of action for me to achieve my target goal of 85kgs or less than 90kgs at least? Would you also let me know to follow any home remedies? I know about honey lemon and luke warm water. Apart from that if any wud you recommend me to get thru this tough time that will be really helpful and appreciable. Anticipate a quicker reply as I can not weight to lose weight. Note: I have a knee joint pain at the moment so can not run or jogg.
