How to reduce hairfall and increase its growth.

Ph.D - Ayurveda, FFAM-Post-Gratuate Felloship, MD - Ayurveda
Ayurveda,
How to reduce hairfall and increase its growth.
Commonly dandruff or any other infection and lack of hair nourishment are the main causes for hair fall. This requires both local application for dandruff or any other infection and local massage with oil to increase circulation and internal consumption of herbal preparations as nutrients for hair growth.

Hi, My hair fall has started what to do?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath,
Hi, My hair fall has started what to do?
Taking care of your hair *take nutritious healthy food *have regular vigorous physical exercise so that blood circulation reaches hair follicles and nourishes the hair. *avoid mental stress and smoking and such unhealthy habits. * have adequate rest and timely sleep. You may have limitations because of your profession, but stick to it as far as possible. *use warm or cold water for bath and not very hot water. * hard water is harmful. Boiling will reduce hardness. * when the hair is wet, it is weaker and don't rub too much with towel. * use wide toothed comb so that there is no pulling pressure on the hair. *your usual hair dye has large doses of ammonia, which changes hair texture, dries out the scalp and almost leads to hair fall. Hair growth is dependent on several factors. We have good treatment in homoeopathy without causing adverse effects. These medicines are given internally and they improve the system to promote healthy growth of hair and prevent hair fall.

I have two moles in my face how to remove it?

DNB (Dermatology), Diploma in Venerology & Dermatology (DVD), MBBS
Dermatologist,
Hi , moles on face can be removed surgically by well trained dermatosurgeon. As moles lie deep within the skin, they cannot be removed with creams or chemical peels which can be used for removal of other skin spots. Cosmetic surgery done for moles leaves minimal or no scar. Consult well trained dermatosurgeon to help you with the options of surgery.

I have black spot on my face. How to clear my face.

Advanced Aesthetics
Ayurveda,
I have black spot on my face. How to clear my face.
Before going in for the treatment of the problem let us first discuss the causes of dark under-eye circles. Here are few reasons why someone has dark circles: Lack of sleep Fatigue Pigmentation Excessive sun exposure Heredity factors Dehydration Constant eye rubbing Ageing Dark circles can be prevented or even reduced by following a healthy lifestyle. Apart from ageing and heredity factors, which are beyond our control, the above mentioned causes of under-eye circles can easily be put off. Tips to reduce under eye circles: Now I don?t know how much these easy home remedies would help as I haven't tried them all myself but they are surely worth trying. 1. Grate a potato and place it on your eyes for about 30 minutes then wash your face with warm water. 2. Use cucumber slices or juice on the dark circles to lighten them. Place thinly cut slices on your eyes for 20 minutes and then wash your face with cold water. 3. Mix two spoons of tomato juice with few drops of lemon juice. Soak cotton pads in it, squeeze a little, and place them on your eyes for 15 minutes. Wash your face as usual. Apply this twice daily. Apply sunscreen before going out. Wear sunglasses to protect eyes from harmful UV rays. Stay hydrated by drinking 8-10 glasses of water everyday. Eat fruits and vegetables rich in Vitamin E. Creams that contain Vitamin C and E also help to reduce dark circles Any queries inform me..

Homeopath,
I have a lot of pimples in my forehead and it pains a lot and there is no dandruff in my hair. And I'm not using too ...
Dear Lybrate User, Pimples/ Acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory skin disease which develops due to blocking of the hair follicles in skin. These blockages occur due to 4 abnormal processes: 1) Excess sebum production due to androgens 2) Excessive deposition of the protein keratin leading to comedone formation 3) Infection of Propionibacterium acnes (P. Acnes) bacteria on the hair follicles 4) Local release of pro-inflammatory chemicals in the skin. In order to stop the formation of pimples the aforesaid four causes should be terminated. Now the bitter truth is neither can you stop the overproduction of androgen or keratin protein nor can you stop the release of pro-inflammatory chemicals because all these processes takes place internally in your skin. However you can stop the accumulation of P. Acnes bacteria on your skin by preventing your skin from getting oily. Always keep a handkerchief with you whenever you go outside. You should wipe off the slightest amount of sweat from your face as soon as you perspire On entering your room from outside wash your face with an oil-free, non-moisturizing face wash. Take a low carbohydrate diet. Do some exercise daily. Drink a lots of water to avoid constipation. Avoid pricking the pimples or popping the sebum as it may lead to black pigmentation & permanent scar formation. You can also take Homoeopathic CALCAREA PHOS 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach Also you can apply Homoeopathic Mother Tincture BERBERIS AQUIFOLIUM Q on the dark spots on your skin which are produced after the resolution of the pimples. Kindly note that this medication may not be sufficient enough to take care of your problem. These medicines are based on the symptoms of your diseased condition & these medicines need to be complemented by further deep-acting remedies in order to permanently eliminate the underlying cause of the disease. So I would suggest you to consult me privately via Lybrate as it is very necessary to diagnose the proper underlying cause of your problem if you are wishing for a permanent relief from your problems. A permanent annihilation of the underlying cause of the disease will not only provide you relief from your troubles but it will also cease any chance of further relapse of that particular disease condition.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
I am 22 years old and my problem is hair fall how to control it. Please give me a suggestion.
Hi. It's normal to loose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg, eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin), different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. Walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you fit and young! Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica hair conditioner as well after every head wash.

I am suffering from tiny white pimples/zits on my forehead from last 3 months which do not pain and do not go away even. Why are they caused and how to treat them?

BHMS
Homeopath, Delhi
I am suffering from tiny white pimples/zits on my forehead from last 3 months which do not pain and do not go away ev...
Cause for zits or pimples on forehead:- Rosacea- Rosacea leads to a red rash that is also accompanied by bumps and blisters all over the face. This is the main reason why many women misdiagnose rosacea as acne. Cosmetic acne- Acne on the forehead can also arise due to cosmetics, makeup and certain hair products. A popular hair gel called Pomade was used by many women for styling the hair differently. This was known to give rise to severe acne flare-ups and some women even experienced burning and itching on their scalp. Use of such cosmetics leads to clogged pores and the chemicals also tend to irritate delicate or sensitive skin. Popping zits- Mechanical abrasion in the form of using sharp combs, or wearing metallic hair bands, helmets, unwashed hats or caps etc can also cause adult acne on the forehead. Popping the zits can also cause bacteria to spread leading to even more acne flare-ups. Excoriated acne also occurs when a person has the habit of constantly touching the face to remove blackheads or scratch blemishes etc. Dandruff and greasy scalp- Dandruff is also a leading cause of forehead acne. It clogs the skin’s pores leading to zits and pimples. Follow following precautions for pimple. Discontinue use of all kinds of cosmetics and products. If you have dandruff, seek treatment for it. You could use Selenium sulfide or other anti-fungal shampoos to prevent and control flaking and itching of scalp. Cleanse tone and moisturize the entire face, paying greater attention to the forehead. Use dermatologist-approved products only. When selecting over-the-counter cleansers and moisturizers, opt for non-acnegenic, non-comedogenic products. Avoid alcohol based products. Do not use a harsh towel to dry the face- use soft and clean towel and only pat dry the skin. Avoid hair oils, harsh shampoos and conditioners etc on the hair. Get regular facials at a reputed dermatologist or spa. Facials can help clear away the sebum, debris and dirt that have accumulated on the skin. This will help the pores clear to prevent future breakouts. You can use homemade face masks and DIY facials containing diluted apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice) with some honey to regularly massage and treat the skin. They all have healing anti microbial properties and can reduce and prevent breakouts on the forehead. Never sleep with the makeup on. Always wash your face prior to bed time. Stress is also a leading cause of acne. Try some light exercise, meditation etc to reduce stress and acne breakouts. Diet plays an important role in your skin’s health. Make sure you eat balanced meals and drink plenty of water. Foods like walnuts, green tea, fresh fruits and vegetables, fatty fish etc are good for the skin and can prevent acne.
