Ashok just taking a tablet and getting away with headach is not the right approach to treat your headache and eye pain. We must find out the cause of your eyepain and headache like = duration of pain = location of pain =association of pain with any medical symptom = dietary habit = check if you have any spectacle numbers.

Masturabtion is safe and it will ot cause this ED. Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a condition in which man has trouble in keeping or getting an erection. It is a common male sexual dysfunction. It becomes more common as you get older but it is not a part of aging. MECHANISM OF ERECTION An erection starts in the brain. Physical and mental stimulation is required for an erection to begin. This stimulation causes nerves in the brain to send chemical messages to nerves which are present in the penis which results in the free flow of blood into the penis. This leads to high pressure in the penis which in turn traps the blood within both corpora cavernosa and then the penis expand. This causes the penis to sustain an erection. When the inflow of blood is stopped, then it opens outflow channels and then penis becomes soft. Then an erection is said to be reversed. CAUSES OF ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION Erection is a complex process which involves hormones, brain, emotions, muscles, nerves and blood vessels. Problem with any one of these can lead to erectile dysfunction. Sometimes stress and mental health can also lead to erectile dysfunction. Combination of Physical and Psychological issues can lead to erectile dysfunction. Some medicines like antidepressants can also cause this and if you are taking any medication you have to discuss with your treating doctor to change or stop medicine if possible PHYSICAL CAUSES OF ED •Heart disease, high blood pressure, High cholesterol. •Parkinson's disease, obesity, alcoholism, atherosclerosis. •Use of tobacco, surgeries that affect the pelvic area or spinal cord. •Treatments for prostate cancer. PSYCHOLOGICAL ISSUES OF ED: Depression, anxiety, stress and other mental health conditions are some of the psychological issues which causes erectile dysfunction. SYMPTOMS OF ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION •Trouble in getting erection •Difficulty in keeping erection •Reduced sexual desire HOW CAN ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION BE PREVENTED? By decreasing the chances of developing several diseases like diabetes, heart disease and hypertension, chances of developing erectile dysfunction can be decreased to some extent. By eating healthy diet, erectile dysfunction can be managed. By doing Exercise daily and by avoiding smoking, risk for developing erectile dysfunction can be decreased. If you do not have any diseases it is only your mind that is preventing your erection. So you need to be calm and stop worrying about it and keep on doing normally.

What should you do when you are down with Viral Attack

MBBS
General Physician, Delhi
What should you do when you are down with Viral Attack
What should you do when you are down with viral

Viral fever or in layman language, Flu causes runny nose , coughing , fever , bodyache and muscle pain. You need to isolate yourself first so that you do not spread to your near and dear ones as it really spreads fast. Common cold too is a viral infection! Many times when we think that our stomach is upset due to improper eating; but the reality is in many cases, it is viral infection. Viruses enter the body in multiple ways; it is almost impossible from stopping them entering inside. A few solutions though work wonders in keeping their effects at bay.

1. Adequate rest- Viruses take a lot away from your bodies. When you work while being affected by virus, you further bog your body down buying more opportunity for viruses to affect you more. Complete rest may sound lazy, but it in fact is a great way to start off the healing process.
2. Drink right- Drink a lot of water, a hydrated body fights virus better than one that is not. Consume fruit juices, energy drinks and vegetable soups every now and again. Stay away from dairy products like milk, butter milk, milkshakes etc.
3. Eat aplenty- Eat plenty amounts of food. When you are down with virus, you tend to lose appetite. But make sure that you eat as much as you can; this helps in replenishing the energy resource of the body which will battle the virus better. Don’t overeat though.
4. Eat it right- Eat salads, fruits, brown rice, cereals etc. In simpler words, eat light; don’t eat stuff that demands a lot of energy for digesting. If eating is difficult, vegetable soups with whole vegetables and dals in them are ideal.
5. Stay warm- Resting doesn’t just mean the lack of activity. Proper rest is when you keep yourself warm. It’s essential to feel good and almost all viral infections make you cold. Tackle this by staying inside your blanket. Use full sleeve shirts and long pants with gloves, a cap and socks supporting them.

Head injury when associated with nausea, vomiting, visual disturbances, loss of consciousness, seizures or ear and nose bleeds indicates injury to underlying brain. This requires urgent management in form of surgery or ICU care. Your symptoms most likely indicate superficial injuries which can be managed by bed rest, anti inflammatory drugs and ice packs. But if your head ache worsens or you develop above mentioned problems or additional symptoms consult your nearby hospital immediately. In case of any doubt consult with your local doctor and get CT scan of brain done.

My sister's daughter is having acromegaly disease and has been directed to undergo operation through the nose. Is there any chance of getting it treated through ayurvedic medicines?

Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), MD - Ayurveda
Ayurveda, Mumbai
Acromegaly is caused by over secretion of the pitutary gland in the brain, she has been diagnosed with secretory adenoma of the ant pitutary. The problem is she might have other hormonal over secretions too. Yes ayurvedic medications can be tried but I would suggest you go ahead with the surgery. Please consult in private.

My cousin have severe cervical spondylosis pain going on off and on. Some of the treatment she took before. But it was temporary cured and again it started. So she need permanently solution for this. Waiting for reply. Can you suggest some medicine for my cousin.

Erasmus Mundus Master in Adapted Physical Activity, MPT, BPTh/BPT
Physiotherapist, Chennai
This is cervical pain (neck pain) and that's the reason the pain radiates until the shoulder blades. If you keep ice that would help to reduce the pain and feel relaxed and comfortable. You shall also do hot water fermentation that would improve the blood circulation to the painful area and thereby the pain would be reduced. You shall use cervical collar which would help you to reduce the radiating pain and also that would improve the cervical angle and improve the anatomical posture. The pain actually triggers due to nerve compression and that would definitely improve by wearing a cervical collar.

Alcohol is a potent toxic material for brain. Your doctors must have advised you not to consume. Alcohol can precipitate seizure and it can reduce the effect of medicine also.

Hi, if the sinus infection is the only cause of her headache then disease clearance is the only choice. Generally a mother misses her food in time, take care of her breakfast. If all medical supportive management fails, then surgery is the treatment of choice for chronic obstructive sinusitis. Hope it helps you.

My sister was take the easy breathe capsule internally before one week. But she informed latter only. But till now she was perfect and no issues. My doubt is that capsule will be solvable or it will cause any pblm in stomach. Any necessary to take scan or any remedies On that capsule cover it mentioned as no external use. So that we got fear.

If she doesn't have any stomach issues like pain in stomach or vomiting, indigestion, etc then there is nothing to worry about. But if you wish to get it confirmed then you can go for ultra sonography reports. It will clear all your doubts.

Migraine can never be 24x7 for last 5 years. Migraine is classically an episodic type of headache which may continue for 24-72 hours if untreated in some cases. Migraine is a relapsing headache which may get precipitated by stress, lack of sleep, depression, allergies etc. You seem to have chronic daily headache which may occurs due to unresolved stress, work anxiety, improper sleep schedules etc. Consult me online or a headache specialist for a detailed evaluation and appropriate management.

Parvon spas contains dextropropoxyphene, an opioid derivative. Given that you are taking 10-15 tablets/day, you have developed a dependence on it. You are suffering from the side effects of withdrawal on cessation. Consult a psychiatrist with experience in deaddiction and they will help you with your problem.

Hello. Masturbation is a medically healthy and psychologically normal habit. It is considered abnormal only when it inhibits partner-oriented behavior, is done in public, or is sufficiently compulsive to cause distress. It may cause distress if it is done compulsively or interferes with daily life and activities. Masturbation is a good way of relieving the sexual tension that can build up over time, especially for people without partners or whose partners are not willing or available for sex. Masturbation also is a safe sexual alternative for people who wish to avoid pregnancy and the dangers of sexually transmitted diseases. Masturbation does not produce premature ejaculation. Post-masturbation effects: a man whose penis has suffered a blunt trauma, severe bend or other injury during intercourse or masturbation may, rarely, sustain a penile fracture or suffer from peyronie's disease. Phimosis is" a contracted foreskin (that) may cause trouble by hurting when an attempt is made to pull the foreskin back" in these cases, any energetic manipulation of the penis can be problematic. A small percentage of men suffer from postorgasmic illness syndrome (pois), which can cause severe muscle pain throughout the body and other symptoms immediately following ejaculation, whether due to masturbation or partnered sex. The symptoms last for up to a week.
