Health Query
The fracture takes about 5-6 months to heal completely. The swelling will go gradually as the fracture heals. Elevation of limb and active toe movement will help in decreasing the swelling.

This nerve condition is called "diabetic peripheral neuropathy. This condition affects up to 30% of all diabetics,
Heat Therapy: Apply a hot compress on to the area that is numb, in order to relax the muscles and nerves there. You could use a heating pad, a hot water bottle or a piece of cloth dipped in hot water. Make sure that the heat is not too strong or you could burn your skin

Hi. taking your age to be 16yrs , as is mentioned in the query, and believing you don't have any congenital problems, i suggest you do simple back exercises to get back to good posture. The reasons could be varied for your problem. One of the main reasons is tightness of your muscles in the leg and loose abdomen muscles.the other reasons can be because of your daily posture that u adapt.
So the exercises u could do are:
1. straight leg raise: lie down straight. lift one leg straight without bending the knee and hold for 10 counts. then repeat with the other leg. Do it for 30 times for 3 sets.
2. Trunk rotation: Lie down and bend both your knees. Keep your hand by the side.Rotate your knees to one side and then the other. Do this also for 30 times.
3. Ab curls.: Lie down and bend your knees. cross your hands over your chest and lift your trunk up towards your knees and back. do this also for 30 times for 3 sets.
4. ilio psoas stretch: please check on the net. you will find the procedure to do this stretch.
