Hello, if pain is not after an injury and if its diagnosed as osteo arthritis then regular exercises will help you rather than taking pain meds. If there's no swelling use hot packs to relieve pain and if there's marked swelling try using ice packs. Keep your knee straight and keep a towel roll under the knee, and press the towel roll downwards with the knee and hold for few secs. This exercise will be help you in long run. Seek a professional for more exercises which you can continue at home.

Dear, These are the causes of acne: • excessive sebum production (sebum is oily secretion from the gland). • Due to hormonal imbalance. These are the methods & instructions to avoid acne: • To control the sebum secretion you should maintain your hormonal level. Because imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. * Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. • Use a face pack of fuller's earth (multani mitti) with rose water one time in a day for seven days. It removes toxins from skin. * Take 2 teaspoon of RAKTASHODAK SYRUP of BAIDYANATH company once a day. • Steam your face to open the pores, which in turn clear the skin. Steam your face for a couple of minutes. • use a mild moisturiser for your skin.

Hi - first you make some fat by putting carbohydrate sources foods like rice, chapati etc. Add butter & ghee as necessary. You v to over all increase your calorie by good quality high calorie bfoods through cereals, pulses, legumes & obviously high quality protien like egg, fish, chicken etc. Vegetables, fruits can help y always. After some weight gain you can come to me for muscles.

Hello. Your first of all you have to loose weight. And you have to be firmly determined toloose weight as it is very easy to say loose weight but when it comes to doing, very difficult. Go to a dietician and get a diet chart and go for regular walks and exercises. All this for minimum a month then only you will start loosing weight. Your irregular periods might be because of excessive weight. So alter your life style and you will be a happier person.

You are probably having a disc Lesion in the Lumbar (Back) region. Avoid Forward bending, Avoid squatting, Do hot fomentaton, aplly local gel. Have an X-ray of Lumbar Spine done after consultation with an Orthopaedic surgeon.

My cousin is married from 3 years but dnt have baby till now and I am giving information about there this month scan. Scan shows that uterus is normal nulliparous/nongravid size and is anteverted and anteflexed in the midline. Myometrium is normal. Endometrium is unusually thin and the total combined thickness of both layers of endometrium is 2 mm. Both ovaries are very small and poorly visible and devoid of follicles. The right ovary is 20 mm×17 mm and left ovary is 16×8 mm and menses come only pills and I want to know that she can get pregnant in future with these complications plzzzz help usss and give us a fair solution.

Hi lybrate-user. You have to consult an I fertitility specialist. From usg I can make out that her ovaries are small so most probably the egg is not forming, there seems to be a deficiency of hormones that's why she is not getting spontaneous periods and the uterine lining is so thin. The Dr. Can check the ovarian reserve by doing amh blood test nd seeing the antral follicle count on usg. Accordingly medicine can be given if possible for egg formation and thickening of uterine lining.

Dear Lybrate User, *Spread your workload evenly during the day to avoid highs and lows of stress at work or at home. *Do not sleep excessively, especially during Sunday mornings and holidays. *Do not get too tired. *Eat at regular times, and do not skip meals. *Do not eat or drink anything, you think brings on a headache. *Limit the amount of tea, coffee and painkillers you use. *Watch your posture. Try to keep your neck straight. *Keep your muscles relaxed when you are not physically active. Try not to frown or tighten your jaw. *Restrict your physical activities in hot weather. *Avoid bright or flickering lights, loud noises or strong smells if they trigger headaches for you. *Remember the classic advice; “ati sarvatra varjayeth” or moderation in all things.

For your stomach problem-- you need to avoid spicy, masalas and nonveg food and eat only curd rice or khichdi for a week to make it regular.

I feel very much tired after coming home from job in the evng at 6 pm. I feel hungry and after hvng sme food I feel sleepy at around 7 pm only though I have lots of other works outside. So please provide me some dieting or other tips so that I shud nt feel tired and sleepy after cmg from job.

kindly take amrutottaram kshayam, 20 ml, twice a day, before meals, twice a day. Take liquid diet like daliya, khichdi, moong daal in your diet regularly. Avoid cold eatables like cold water, curd, spicy food in your diet. Take small meals in regular intervals. Drink warm water at times, one to two glasses at least a day. Take agnitundi vati, 1 tabs, twice a day, after meals with warm water. Continue the regime for 1 month. Good luck.

Hi, My period missed on 25th April. Then I tested from prega news on 29th April, 1st may and 4th may and it was negative. Doctor prescribed me sysron NCR and after 2 day of dose I had period but for one day only and it was very very very light. Now all my doses are over (5 doses for 5 day). When my period will come. Do I need to worry a lot because it's first my period got delayed like this. What I should do?

Drink water after waking up and before sleeping. Being dehydrated may make you feel like you're hungry, so it is important to stay hydrated. - have homemade fruit and vegetable juices - eat 5-6 small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, every day, instead of having a few big ones. This regulates your blood sugar level and your metabolism. - don't skip breakfast, instead, make it rich with complex carbohydrates and proteins, so it can provide you with energy to get through the day. Try to include the following as your morning breakfast, oats porridge, eggs on multigrain toast or daliya with sprouts. - avoid artificial sweeteners in processed foods. - eat slowly as it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register if you're full or not. Looks like, you have rosacea. You need to avoid hot coffee, tea. Cut down on hot and spicy food. Focus on being relaxed, too many strong emotions like anger, excitement. Avoid facial cosmetics. Use mild soapfree face cleansers. Don't scrub, steam or sauna face. Vigorous rubbing of face can increase redness. Make sure to protect urself from the sun for it vil automatically enhance redness.

To gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must. Since your body is actually building up muscles, while you rest. Weight gainers have long term side effects.
