Hello, there can be many reasons behind it like *physical or emotional stress, inadequate protein intake, genetics, anemia, aging, hormonal changes, prolonged illness, deficiency of vitamin b6 and folic acid, thyroid diseases. Take homoeopathic medicine weisbaden 30 (4 drops in little water) twice a day for 15 days and update. Apply jobarandi hair oil. *make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. *eat healthy and balanced food like pulses, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts etc. *eggs as it is loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amount. *add more vitamin rich food to your diet. *avoid stress and anger. *cut down the use of hair spray, hair gel. *take a sound sleep. *avoid too much exposure of your hair to sunlight. *avoid hot hair styling tools, as they damage hair and cause split ends. *it is best not to comb the hair while it is wet as this leads to greater chances of hair breakage.

There is a wide array of factors that can trigger melasma or aggravate the condition. Sun exposure is one of the main factors. Excessive exposure to sunlightcauses of Melasma Deficiency of vitamin D in the skin Overuse of birth control pregnancy Hormone replacement therapy Hormonal imbalance during pregnancy Genetic predisposition of a person People suffering from thyroid diseases, Stress – Overproduction of melanocyte-stimulating hormone (MSH) Allergic reaction to certain medications or cosmetics 15 natural Remedies to Get Rid of Melasma at Home Although a wide range of cosmetic procedures such as chemical peel and microdermabrasion is available to remove melasma, most of them have harsh effects on the skin. Therefore, it is best to rely on home remedies that have absolutely no side effects in the long run. Turmeric Turmeric, commonly known as the holy powder has potent medicinal properties which make it a popular ingredient in ayurvedic medicine. It is especially effective for curing skin diseases and issues related to skin. It is a time-tested cure for pigmentation on face, also known as melasma. Curcumin, the active ingredient existent in turmeric has strong antioxidant and skin lightening properties, and it also helps in reducing melanin pigmentation. It also flushes out toxins from the skin and helps cure acne and pimples. Turmeric powder Make a thick paste by mixing 5 tablespoons of turmeric with 10 tablespoons of milk. You can also add 1 teaspoon of gram flour to thicken the paste. Apply this paste on the skin affected by hyperpigmentation and let it dry out completely. Then rinse your skin with lukewarm water while massaging gently using a circular motion. Repeat this cure daily for best results. Horseradish We are aware of the benefits of eating fruits and vegetables for weight loss, but certain vegetables are equally effective for the skin as well. Horseradish is widely used for natural skin care because of its capacity to reduce all types of skin discolorations, blemishes, and scars, and it is one of the most effective melasma home remedies also. This remedy works by bleaching the skin and lightening undesired discoloration and hyper pigmentation of the skin. Horseradish helps in peeling off the damaged skin and revealing the healthy skin that is present underneath the top layer. Horseradish for melsma Add 2 tablespoons of horseradish powder to 1 cup of sour curd; mix well and apply to affected areas. Wait for 30 minutes and swab off with lukewarm water. Reapply this treatment once every week till you get desired results. Lemon Juice When it comes to improving skin complexion naturally, there is no other remedy like raw lemon juice. The mixture of lemon juice and warm water is also one of the natural home remedies for weight loss. Topical application of lemon juice is considered a potent melasma natural treatment that works the peeling off the damaged outer layer of the skin, thus removing the melasma pigmentation. Lemon juice Lemon juices work as natural bleach that lightens the grey-brown patches that appear on cheeks, forehead and nose. Squash out the juice from one lemon and apply it thoroughly all over the affected areas rubbing gently for 2 minutes. Leave it like that for 20 minutes and then wash off with lukewarm water. Repeat this cure 2 times a day for 3 weeks to see wonderful results. Apple Cider Vinegar Apple cider vinegar is an extremely popular treatment for various types of skin and hair problems. It is used as a popular ingredient in natural hair mask for dull and damaged hair and is also considered one of the functional home remedies for melasma. The acetic acid found in apple cider vinegar makes it a natural bleaching agent that removes skin spots and makes the skin radiant and smoother. In addition, it also removes toxins from the skin. Apple-cider-vinegar Mix equal shares of apple cider vinegar and water and apply a generous amount of the solution to the melasma spots and allow it to air dry. Then wash the areas with lukewarm water and pat dry using a clean towel. Follow this treatment 1 time every day for required results. Papaya Papaya is an extremely versatile fruit that has numerous uses for the skin. Both raw and ripe papayas are used for using several skin issues, and ripe papaya is widely used in fruit facial masks. Papaya is also a powerful natural melasma treatment at home that is readily available in the kitchen. The natural active enzyme papain present in papaya works as an exfoliant that removes the damaged and dead skin cells and helps in restoring a smooth and even skin tone. 3.2Papaya and Honey Face Pack for dry skin Mash a few pieces of ripe papaya to bring it to a paste like consistency and add 2 teaspoons of honey to it. Mix well and apply the mask all over the affected skin. Wait for 20 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water. Follow this natural cure 1 time every week for 2 to 3 months to remove melasma completely. Almond The benefits of almonds and almond milk for skin need no new emphasis. A nourishing and exfoliating scrub made of almonds and honey is undoubtedly the best treatment for melasma. The high protein content in almonds has the capacity to lighten skin complexion. Almonds also contain vitamin E that not only corrects skin discoloration but also nourishes the skin. Benefits of almonds Grind 8 to 10 almonds to make a coarse paste and add enough honey to make a thick paste. Smear this mixture on the affected skin, massage for 5 minutes and leave it on for another 20 minutes. Wash off the pack with lukewarm water. Follow this cure 3 to 4 times a week till the melasma is gone completely. Aloe Vera Gel The amazing hydrating properties of aloe vera gel makes it a popular ingredient in many skin care products and it is one of the beneficial natural remedies for melasma. It is also used to treat numerous skin diseases, and it is a potent cure for treating ringworm. Pure aloe vera gel contains mucilaginous polysaccharides that lighten blemishes, dark spots caused by excessive sun exposure and melasma discoloration. The potent antioxidant properties of aloe vera gel protect the skin from the damage caused by oxidative stress. It is best if you have access to pure aloe vera gel. Aloe Vera Apply pure aloe vera gel evenly on the affected skin and massage gently for 2 minutes. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then wash off with lukewarm water. Follow this natural cure 2 times daily for few weeks to get best results. Oatmeal Oatmeal is an important complex carb that is included in the diet of health conscious individuals because of its benefits for weight loss. But oatmeal is also an effective way to get rid of melasma naturally. A nourishing oatmeal scrub is the best solution to the question of how to get rid of dead skin cells. The natural exfoliating properties of oatmeal gently scrape off the layers of dead skin cells in order to reveal brighter skin. This remedy is also quite effective in reducing chloasma during pregnancy.

I am suffering from 5 years with psoriasis, is there any best solution to prevent this disease.

MBBS, DGO (cal)
General Physician,
Psoriasis is a common, chronic, relapsing/remitting, immune-mediated systemic disease characterized by skin lesions including red, scaly patches, papules, and plaques, which usually itch. The skin lesions seen in psoriasis may vary in severity from minor localized patches to complete body coverage. The five main types of psoriasis are plaque, guttate, inverse, pustular, and erythrodermic. Plaque psoriasis, the most common form, typically manifests as red and white scaly patches on the top layer of the skin. The causes of psoriasis are not fully understood. It is not purely a skin disorder and can have a negative impact on many organ systems. No cure is available for psoriasis, but various treatments can help to control the symptoms. The effectiveness and safety of targeted immune therapies is being studied, and several have been approved (or rejected for safety concerns) by regulatory authorities. The disease affects 2? 4% of the general population. So you well understand that when the cause is not clearly understood yet, so how we can comments on prevention. However, following has been said to have some effect on giving little additional relief. Conditions reported as accompanying a worsening of the disease include chronic infections, stress, and changes in season and climate. Others include hot water, scratching psoriasis skin lesions, skin dryness, excessive alcohol consumption, cigarette smoking, and obesity.

Hi. Let me tell you about hairfall. In layman's language, hairfall can be divided into 2 types - temporary hairfall and permanent (which is called as 'Hairloss' rather). In temporary hairfall, hair grows back again from the same hair root, but in case of permanent hairloss, may be because of formation of DHT (Di- Hydro -Testosterone) around hair root it gets choked up, subsequently affects the blood supply to the hair and thus hair root is lost forever. (There are different pattern and types of hairloss, because of different reasons like Alopecia Areata, Telogen Effluvium, Scarring Alopecia, Traction Alopecia, etc.) Causes of hairloss: Many factors are responsible formation of this DHT or male/ female pattern baldness - hereditary, post-illness/ ailment, post-delivery, post- chemotherapy, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalance, insufficient sleep, sudden loss of weight, stress/ tensions/ excessive anger, use of bore water, any other underlying diseases, etc. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. Investigations advised: Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Folic acid, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well.

acne is a common problem in teen. Almost everybody will get pimples during their teen years. First, don't try to self treat acne. Some popular nonprescription acne lotions, cleansers and other skin products can cause a serious reaction (rare), mostly it is normal to have acne in teenage. For pimples it's important to wash your face twice daily to remove impurities, dead skin cells, and extra oil from your skin's surface, avoid touching your face or propping your cheek or chin on your hands. Not only can you spread bacteria, you can also irritate the already inflamed facial skin. Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. A dietary therapy with the right medications for pimples can also help a lot. Kojic acid (a natural skin lightener derived from mushroom extract), arbutin (also called bearberry extract), and vitamin c (ascorbic acid) are great alternative ingredients to lighten scars left by acne. Don't use vitamin e on scars. You may have heard that applying vitamin e to a scar will help it heal faster. But according to a study, applying the nutrient directly onto a scar can actually hinder its healing. In the study, vitamin e either had no effect or made matters worse for 90% of the patients, and 33% who put vitamin e on the skin developed a contact dermatitis. Increasing the intake of omega-3 fatty acids through a diet significantly rich in fish and seafood results in lower rates of an inflammatory disease like acne. A low-glycemic-index diet also reduces acne risk. I being a both a registered dietitian and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. Do reply back for private consultation.

A person loses around 50 hairs on an average every day. Some people lose much more than that, leading to thinning of hair. This lowers the self esteem and perceived attractiveness of the person. Fortunately, hair loss can be arrested and the earlier it is done, better is the outcome. If hair loss is in excess, then there is a chance to become bald, which can lower down your confidence, but no need to worry as Ayurvedic medication is a permanent solution for baldness.  Coconut oil helps eliminate dandruff due to its antifungal properties. It also moisturizes dry scalp and provides relief from itching. Take some coconut oil and mix half the amount of lemon juice in it. Rub it on your scalp and massage for a few minutes. Wash your hair after at least 20 minutes. Follow this remedy two to three times a week. Unhealthy hair habits can cause hair loss. Common culprits for thinning of hair are: 1) Brushing vigorously:- Brushing your hair aggressively puts a lot of pressure on the hair fiber, causing the cuticle to flake and fall away. Combing wet hair is not advisable as it can cause excessive pulling and breakage. 2) Tight ponytails and braids:- Tying your hair in tight ponytails and braids can lead to thinner hair as these techniques cause hair traction. Due to traction large amount of hair gets damaged and may fall out. Sometimes the damages caused by hair traction are permanent. 3) Unbalanced diet:- Well balanced and nourished diet promotes healthy hair. Protein repairs, strengthens and boosts cell growth. Iron and zinc aids in the growth of follicles. Eggs provide supplement to the hair as they are rich in protein and B vitamins which are necessary for growth. please follow above mentioned things as much as possible. Take these primary medicines to reduce dandruff and hairfall. 1) Lakshadi guggulu 500 mg twice day 2) Gandhak Rasayan vati500 mg twice day 3) bhrungraj vati 500 mg twice day. Take medicines for 30 days, and stop use of market shampoo and conditioner. Instead use shikekai powder+ trifala powder for washing of hairs.(it gives very elegant result as compared to products you are using ). It will reude your hairfall and hairs will be thick, black and silky. Hope this answers your query. Feel free to consult privately for further information and treatment guidelines. Thank you.

Treatment can include simple excision, endoscopic removal, or liposuction and it depends on the size, number and location of lipomas. Simple excision is usually done for superficial lipomas and is done under anesthesia by giving and excision and removing the contents of the lipoma. Then these contents are sent for histopathological examination. Liposuction has more recurrence rate but in surgical incisional removal, since it is removed completely, including the capsule, the recurrence rate is less.

Hello. Start immediately with homoeopathic medication - sulphur 200/ one dose daily in the morning for a week and 10 drops of arnica montana q in 1/2 cup of water and apply on the face on the beard and the mustache area with a cotton swab. Then use the razor. Repeat the above process every 3rd day for few months. There are certain nutrients that you can add to your daily routine that can help encourage faster, more effective hair growth. Promote thicker hair with folic acid. This is necessary for the growth and repair of hair, take follihair/ 1 tablet daily for 3 months. You can also try increasing the amount of folic acid in your diet. Folic acid can be found in whole-grain breads and cereals, leafy green vegetables, peas, and nuts. Increase your biotin intake. Biotin is an important water-soluble b vitamin, necessary for the the formation of fatty acids and glucose, as well as for metabolizing amino acids and carbohydrates. A biotin deficiency can lead to hair loss, so making sure you are getting the recommended amount is well worth the effort. Biotin is found in liver, oysters, cauliflower, beans, fish, carrots, bananas, soy flour, egg yolks, cereals, yeast, and other foods. Management: -exfoliate your face. Hair follicles can become blocked with dirt and prevent your hair from growing. Once a week, wear an exfoliant mask with eucalyptus. It's great for your skin, and can help promote hair growth. -massage your hair follicles. A gentle massage can help stimulate your hair follicles. Use your finger tips, and gently massage your face in circular motions for about two to three minutes. Try applying a facial moisturizer to create a smoother massage. -take in vitamin a. This vitamin stimulates the production of sebum, which keeps your hair follicles and skin hydrated.
