You should meet with a counselor and get some help with your emotions and how to deal with them. For your sleep problem please follow the recommendations mentioned below: In your case particularly, do not sleep during the day; don’t even lie down. Go for regular exercise (breathing through your nostrils only) at a fixed time (at about 6 am) every day, whether you sleep or not. You must develop this habit of sleeping by 10 pm latest every night and wake up at a uniform time by 6 am every morning, even if you do not get sleep. If you do not get sleep, just lie down and if you have a bed lamp (or you could get one) lie down and read something light but not exciting. Your eyes will tire and you will fall asleep. If you like you may also put on light and soft music with the sleep function on. Depending on whether you are a visual or auditory person, you may watch TV in a lying down position until you feel sleepy. Have a warm bath before going to bed (for some people a cold bath at night seems to induce sleep! If you are one of them, please do so). Place the head side of your bed in a North-South position. The room must be as dark as possible and there should be no electronic items that give off even a light LED glow. There must be ample ventilation in the room. Avoid strong odors, except lavender, on your body or in the room, or on your sheets and clothes. There should not be any live plants in your bedroom. Sleep with the lightest of clothes or without any clothing. When lying down to sleep, lie down on your left ear as much as possible. Do not sleep directly under an overhead fan. You must eat a good breakfast, a fairly light lunch, and an early dinner, which should be a very light meal. Whatever you eat in the other meals, have only a pure carbohydrate meal at night with any vegetables, and preferably before 8 pm. Do not drink much liquids after or near about dinner time. When lying down to sleep you may use the 4-7-8 breathing pattern of sleep inducement i.e. Breathe in for four counts through your nostril only, hold for 7 counts, and exhale with a whoosh sound, through your mouth only, for 8 counts. Repeat this four times in the morning and just before you sleep at night. If you know Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT (check this out either on YouTube or Google), then please practice this too for sleep induction. Self-hypnosis and slow relaxation techniques, at night will be tremendously useful. Acupuncture or acupressure will both be very useful too. Pray last thing at night before you sleep.

I dont know why but some times I feel sick even not having any problem aur such thing. Like I feel weakness but my diet se proper and full of proteins, carbohydrates, fats etc. Advise me something.

Hello, Do you have any stress/ tension or some other problem? Simple nutritional deficiency can also cause general weakness. Get your blood tested (empty stomach) for – CBC, ESR, AEC, Sputum examination, Widal, Peripheral smear for MP, Urine (R & M), Stool (R & M) first. (In case required, may advise you some other tests later). Take enough of rest and sleep for rejuvenation of the cells and tissues. Hello Lybrate user- Hairfall is due to excess of shampoo use. Imbalance in ratio between shampoo and oiling results in loss of hairs so try to oil your scalp with some ayurvedic oils like Nili bhringadi hair oil or Maha bhringraj hair oil, and try to shampoo as less as you can (not more than once in a weeks’ time).

Panic attack is a condition in which a person have sudden onset of extreme anxiety associated with chest discomfort/chest pain, choking sensation in throat, dryness in mouth, dizziness, headache, palpitation, increased heart beat, churning sensation in abdomen, hot flushes or cold extremities, tremors, fear of impending doom (feeling as if going to die) or fear of going crazy. Do you have abdominal pain? there are a various causes for stomach problems, treatment depends on the location, severity and type of pain. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Hi, if a person who is already suffering from Dengue, the management part goes like this: Maintain a clean and mosquito-free environment. Dengue patients must go to the hospital every day to have their fever and blood count assessed. Ensure the patient gets sufficient bed rest. Give the patient Acetaminophen/paracetamol. Patients should be encouraged to drink water, fruit juice, and oral rehydration solutions to prevent dehydration from fever or vomiting. Keep a daily record of symptoms. Take the patient to the hospital if his symptoms worsen. Eat foods that are simple to digest and do not overload the liver. Try and provide the body with nutritious foods like green vegetables, soups with lentils, rice, semolina and other boiled foods. Feeding a person two-three tablespoons of the juice of papaya leaves helps in increasing the platelet count. Include a lot of vitamin C rich fruits like oranges, kiwi, lemons, amla etc. The ascorbic acid or the vitamin C content in these fruits works as a thirst quencher and provides the body with antioxidants. They also increase the production of urine, thereby helping in the elimination of toxins from the body. Most importantly, this bone breaking fever will affect the strength of the bones. Therefore, it is very important to include good protein in your diet. Try and eat easily digestible proteins like egg whites, milk, paneer, tofu and curd to provide nutrition to the bones and joints. Avoid eating red meat as it will overtax the digestive system, thereby lowering energy levels. Avoid oily and spicy foods and eat small healthy meals every couple of hours, as your body needs constant nutrition, in order to have enough supply energy to function and rebuild new cells.

There will be hair loss on daily basis as growth and fall ratio is 80: 20. Our 20 percent hair are always in fall phase. They will fall while oiling, washing and combing. If the hair comes out in bunches or hair comes out even on slightest touch then it is considered as hair fall. Hair is part of the body. It gets nutrition through blood. It is very important to eat healthy, drink enough amount of water on daily basis. Oil is the excellent scalp conditioner and shampoo works as a washing medium. Do oiling 3/week and wash it 3/week. Hi. I would recommend you homoeopathic treatment which is very safe to take. Let me tell you about hairfall. In layman's language, hairfall can be divided into 2 types - temporary hairfall and permanent (which is called as 'Hairloss' rather). In temporary hairfall, hair grows back again from the same hair root, but in case of permanent hairloss, may be because of formation of DHT (Di- Hydro -Testosterone) around hair root it gets choked up, subsequently affects the blood supply to the hair and thus hair root is lost forever. (There are different pattern and types of hairloss, because of different reasons like Alopecia Areata, Telogen Effluvium, Scarring Alopecia, Traction Alopecia, etc.) Causes of hairloss: Many factors are responsible formation of this DHT or male/ female pattern baldness - hereditary, post-illness/ ailment, post-delivery, post- chemotherapy, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalance, insufficient sleep, sudden loss of weight, stress/ tensions/ excessive anger, use of bore water, any other underlying diseases, etc. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. (N.B.: With the help of homoeopathic medicines, we can only prevent further progress of the hairloss, means it will get arrests in the present condition in case of progressive baldness. Hi I am taking Novelon 21 day pill from june. Missed second last doubled with the last, break of 6 days from 2-7 july. Menses from 5-7july. New pack from 8th july. Protected intercourse but condom used thrice on 9th july (first timw intercourse) Next fully protected on 14th july (last intercourse) Missed 21st july pill doubled 22nd july night. Light bleeding on 22nd july morning (breakthrough bleed or implantation bleed?) Pill ended on 28th july menses from 1-6 aug. Negative hpt at 4,5,6,7,8,11,12 weeks all negative hpt done with first morning urine with different brands. No pills or intercourse after 1-6aug. Periods due on 1st sept as it dint came did a usg and hcg beta on 8th sept (10 weeks from first and 9 weeks from last intercourse) Hcg was 0.11 and usg shows pcod (no mention of pregnancy) Dr. Prescribed deviry 2 tab for 5 days for withdrawal bleed. But after taking just a single dose bleeding started from 11-16th sept. It was heavy. On 21st sept morning when I woke up I can feel my pelvic bone in the front Scared went for usg on 21st sept (12 weeks ftom first and 11 weeks from lasr intercourse) Usg only showed bulky ovaries with pcod. I asked him if my uterus was normal he said its absolutely normal. Usg was transabdominal I did not have any intercourse after 14th july. Is their any risk of pregnancy? Relax first. You are not pregnant as per there reports and series of events mentioned. First advice is do not miss your pills to avoid confusion and second don't tax yourself with repeated testing.

Initially it will help you to lose weight because you have gone into a calorie deficit by reducing your rotis. But after some time the weight will stagnate. It is not just by reducing rotis you will lose weight. You have to eat clean and exercise well to achieve results. To maintain a low body fat and/or lower body fat: 1. Exercise at least 5 times per week 2. Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3. Sleep 7-9 hours per night 4. Don’t engage in extreme diets 5. Stay consistent with your habits 6. Incorporate non-exercise physical activity 7. Ignore food advertising You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, White rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water.

Sir/madam, my daughter is 9 1/2 years old and she started her periods in the month of february. That month, her bleeding continued for a month and stopped after taking some homeopathy medicines.
