She was going for operation of wall in heart is it safe as she is 78. Can she will recover it or not.
Even at the ages of 78 most of cardiac surgeries are safe, there will be some complication if she has other diseases (diabeyes, asthma) along with it, and I hope the surgeon and anasthetics take proper precaution for that.

Such issues are critical questions requiring very meticulous judgement which is possible only after getting to know entire case history of the patient. It will not be prudent to give any affirmative response to your query as I can guess the cardiologist in charge has probably advised for angioplasty and based on that you are seeking second or third opinion. That is very essential and you are doing exactly what I would have done for my own family. But no doctor will be able to opine without having all relevant details of the case. Medicine is not a prefect science like mathematics and that's why there is no formula. Only we get guidelines and protocols based on evidences. To follow protocols the doctor has to see that his judgement is based on criteria as laid down and those criteria are to be obtained from patient' case history.

Hi ecg is basic test of cardiology, a clearance in ecg indicates that your heart is fine but its not guaranteed you have not mentioned your smoking habits smoking can cause any cardiac event at any age have encountered patient with massive heart attacks at age of 17 also 2 d echo is not meant for you as you breathlessness is associated while running and exercising to get a clearance I would suggest you to go with tread mill test as during this test you have to run on a tread mill I wish you a great luck your gastritis could also cause a feeling of breathlesss ness but I would suggest you to go with tmt ,a must if you are a smoker tx.

The exact causes of high blood pressure are not known, but several factors and conditions may play a role in its development, including: smoking. Being overweight or obese. Lack of physical activity. Too much salt in the diet. Too much alcohol consumption (more than 1 to 2 drinks per day) stress. Older age. Genetics. Better is to avoid alcohol and cigarette smoking as both are injurious to health, maintain a healthy lifestyle, eat more vegetables and fruits, drink plenty of water, go for regular exercise, homoeopathic constitutional treatment will give you great results in curbing this problem.

Hello, Lifestyle changes can help you control and prevent high blood pressure, even if you're taking blood pressure medication. Eat healthy foods. Consume more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, poultry, fish and low-fat dairy foods. Eat less saturated fat and trans fat. Decrease the salt in your diet. So, avoid eating processed foods, such as canned soups or frozen dinners which contains extra salt in it. Keeping a healthy weight, or losing weight if you're overweight or obese, can help you control your high blood pressure and lower your risk of related health problems. Increase physical activity which can help lowering your blood pressure, manage stress, reduce your risk of several health problems. Get indulged in regular exercising (if your doctor allows you). Limit alcohol. Even if you're healthy, alcohol can raise your blood pressure. If you choose to drink alcohol, do so in moderation. Don't smoke. Tobacco injures blood vessel walls and speeds up the process of hardening of the arteries. Reduce stress as much as possible. Practice healthy coping techniques, such as muscle relaxation, deep breathing or meditation. Getting regular physical activity and plenty of sleep can help, too. Monitor your blood pressure at home. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Essentia Aurea/ thrice daily which is a cardio-tonic which helps in maintaining blood pressure, improves muscle tone of the heart and narrowing of blood vessels.

Hloo this side darshan and I know how to low cholesterol level.

MD - Internal Medicine, MBBS
Endocrinologist,
Hloo this side darshan and I know how to low cholesterol level.
Hello dear High triglycerides and cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Change life style .do meditation, yoga, Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods, oily foods, junk foods, alcohol, smoking, fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, take plenty of water in day time. And 1 glass of water before bed at night. use flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take .green veg., whole grain. Garlic,. Cod liver oil. Take anti cholesterol medicines .

How to protect a human in heart attack?

BHMS
Homeopath,
How to protect a human in heart attack?
Healthy diet, regular physical activity, and not using tobacco products are the keys to prevention. Eat a healthy diet: a balanced diet is crucial to a healthy heart and circulation system. This should include plenty of fruit and vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish and pulses, and restricted salt, sugar and fat intake. Take regular physical activity: at least 30 minutes of regular physical activity every day helps to maintain cardiovascular fitness; at least 60 minutes on most days helps to maintain healthy weight. Avoid tobacco use: tobacco in every form is very harmful to health - cigarettes, cigars, pipes, or chewable tobacco. Exposure to second-hand tobacco smoke is also dangerous. The risk of heart attack and stroke starts to drop immediately after a person stops using tobacco products, and can drop by as much as half after one year. Check and control your cardiovascular risk: know your blood pressure: high blood pressure usually has no symptoms, but can cause a sudden stroke or heart attack. Have your blood pressure checked. Know your blood sugar: raised blood glucose (diabetes) increases the risk of heart attacks and strokes. If you have diabetes it is very important to control your blood pressure and blood sugar to minimize the risk. Know your blood lipids: raised blood cholesterol and abnormal blood lipids increase the risk of heart attacks and strokes. Blood cholesterol needs to be controlled through a healthy diet and, if necessary, by appropriate medications.

It sounds like normal precordial catch and for security you can do a check up Precordial Catch Syndrome (PCS), also known as Texidor's twinge, is a common cause of chest pain complaints in children and adolescents. It also occurs, though less frequently, in adults. PCS manifests itself as a very intense, sharp pain typically at the left side of the chest which is worse when taking breaths. Patients often think that they are having a heart attack which causes them to panic. This typically lasts 30 seconds to 3 minutes, though some episodes last only a few breaths and in rare cases can last up to 30 minutes. In all cases the pain is resolved quickly and completely.

Dear , fast heart beats are due to abnormal electrical circuits inside heart. You needs to see an arrhythmia specialist (electrophysiologist). We can investigate you by ecg, holter monitoring, and if necessary by ep study for palpitations. Such fast heartbeats can sometimes be dangerous, so it is necessary to investigate further.
