Low level of Testosterone cause very slow growth of beard and moustaches. For proper growth of beard apply these very useful methods: • Do SINHASANA & SARVANGASANA yogasana daily. I have black spots as well as pimples on my back. I used scar removal cream for 4 months but did not see any changes. What should I do?

Take the following treatment - 1. Take 4 tablespoon of aloevera juice with one tablespoon of honey after dinner. 2. Take 4 tablespoon amla juice + 2 tablespoon honey on an empty stomach in the morning. 3. Take chandraprabhavati 2 tablets twice a day. 4. Avoid junk, bakery & spicy food. 5. Maida is very harmful for body, so avoid it. 6. Have all your meals on time. 7. Drink lots of water 8. Fruits rich in vitamin c and green leafy vegetables help in acne there is in ayurveda mention pinda swed. It is a type of swedan karma [phomentation] but it do some another manner. 1. Boiled a rice in milk then take this rice in one white cloth then tied it properly and warmly it rub on your face every morning for 15 days then stop it and do next month again 2. Apply almond oil on your face and massage for 3-5 min at night. By doing above thing you will get good result.

Hello, Gaining weight is a slow process which requires patience and dedication! It not only depends upon the amount of food you consume daily, but also about eating Sensibly, depends upon your genes, your body's proper metabolism, assimilation and absorption, the levels of stress/ tension in your life, and any underlying medical condition you have! The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points (if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. It's a good idea to continue to exercise while you attempt to gain weight the healthy way. Strength training includes working with weights and performing exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, bicep curls, crunches, chin-ups and leg curls. Just keep in mind that the more you exercise, the more calories you will need to consume to replace those you lost while working out. -Quit smoking. As it suppresses the appetite. -Stay healthy. The most important thing through the entire weight gain process is to stay healthy - eating a balanced diet and continuing to exercise throughout. -Take enough of rest and sleep for rejuvenation of the cells and tissues. -Think Positive which will help you in achieving your target of gaining weight. -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos. Both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 3 months. Revert.

Hello. After removal of ovaries there is no secreason of lquied in vagina which help in intercourse. It redced friction. During intercourse. And may be any infection in vagina. You can use vaginal gel before intercourse. Vaginal gel. Candid -v.

Hi I have regular periods 28 days cycle. Last periods happens on september 9th and it long for 7 days. Then intercourse on 24th september. After that on 5th day means september 29th, I got bleeding first light and then heavy with stomach pain. It long for 5 days. I confused that it is implantation or periods. And till now october 24th no periods. Is their a chance of pregnancy or any possibility to get periods on oct 29th?

First do pregnancy test .if negative now then there is no chance of pregnancy if you didnot have intercourse after 29 sept. Wait till 29th you will get your periods.

To maintain a low body fat and/or lower body fat: 1. Exercise at least 5 times per week 2. Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3. Sleep 7-9 hours per night 4. Don’t engage in extreme diets 5. Stay consistent with your habits 6. Incorporate non-exercise physical activity 7. Ignore food advertising You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, White rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water.

Some of friends told me that cleaning/whitening my teeth at the dentist's will take its enamel off and they will become sensitive to hot and cold food/water. Is that true?

Hi lybrate-user cleaning and whitening of teeth are two different things. Cleaning is known as scaling and it doesn't remove enamel layer where as whitening is done by bleaching which can cause sensitivity to hot and cold. Hope it clarifies your doubt

I am having a heart and stomach burn, especially when I am waking up. And after 3 PM its burning the stomach. Some times after waking up I spat the small amounts of blood. And I am having slight burn sensation in my chest all the time. And I am not feeling hungry every time.

Dear lybrate-user, if a persons parents & siblings are diabetic than there is very probability of developing diabetes. You have to take utmost care for prevention of diabetes. You must go lab test for sugar - fasting & post lunch, hba1c, lipid profile, lft, and urine r&m every 3 months. You are little over weight also so maintain your weight below 68 kg i. E. Bmi below 23. Be active, brisk walk 30-40 minutes dialy, no sugar, low carb (chapati-rice), no extra fat. Eat on time, no in between eating, eat more green leafy veg, more dal - proteins & less carbs n fats.

Hi I am a 29 year old, I have stomach pain and tenderness since 8 months now, I have had 2 endoscopies, ctscan and endoscopy . First endoscopy said focally enhanced gastritis and the second endoscopy which was after 6 months said chronic inactive gastritis with lamina proper shows moderate lymphoplasmcytic inflammation. Till now I was under gastritis treatment. Please help me diagnose. Thanks!

Hi Dr. My skin has started tanning. Since my work is mostly outdoor. Somebody told me to apply milk and lime juice mixture on face. Also does applying lemon and honey mixture and applying it on face reduces skin tan. I s this really true. Please suggests me something.

Hi lybrate-user, Yes, lemon is good for skin, It has antibacterial, anti fungal properties, rich in vitamin c an powerful antioxidant. 1. Cut a lemon and rub on your face for 15 to 20 min then wash off with normal water, do it twice a week. I would recommend you cucumber and lemon for tanning with rose water. Cucumber and lemon, They have natural bleaching agents. And lemon is rich in vitamin c an good antioxidant and rose water has cooling properties. Use instruction: Take a tablespoon each of cucumber juice, lemon juice and rose water and mix in a bowl. Apply with cotton on tanned areas, wait for 10 minutes and wash off with cold water.
