I am a college student and want to go to the gym ,as prescribed by trainers I should take much protein to get my tissues repaired sooner but it is not possible to take that amount of protein a day from natural food. So should I take artificial protein supplements such as that of optimum nutrition or dymatize? I want to ask if they have harmful effects to our body or not? I am suffering from fever since 2 days please tell me what I should do and tell me about medicine.
Fever is not considered medically significant until body temperature is above 100.4 F (38 C). Fever serves as one of the body's natural defences against bacteria and viruses which cannot live at a higher temperatures. Also, the body's defence mechanisms seem to work more efficiently at a higher temperature -Fevers of 104 F (40 C) or higher may be dangerous and demand immediate treatments like: -Acetaminophen (dolo-650 mg) twice or thrice can be used to lower a fever . Aspirin should not be used for fever in children/ adolescents or during a viral illness. -Wear loose fitting clothes and don’t overdress. Overdressing can cause temperature to rise further. -Tepid water (85 F [30 C]) bathsmay help bring down a fever. -The body should be cooled with a wet sponge. -A fever can cause severe dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids.. Have citrus fruits, particularly Vitamin C rich ones like mausami,Amla juice etc. -Take light and easily digestible home cooked meals .avoid outside food -Wash hands frequently with soap and water especially after returning from public places or public transport. -Further therapy depends on the cause of fever like urinary infection/typhoid or malaria/dengue infection and the accompanying symptoms that need to be investigated and treated accordingly

Cause of Over sleeping A) Alcohol, smoking, drugs caffeine, sleeping pills B) stress, depression, fatigue inadequate/disturbed sleep, C) obesity, lack of physical activity D) Environmental factor like room is too hot/cold, excess light, noise, un cofortable bed E) Hypo thyroidism, diabetes, Heart disease F) sleeping dis order like sleep Apnoea (Breathing disorder where you stop breathing periodically in the night, due to blockage of Airway), narcolepsy (day time sleep), Restless leg syndrome Treatment A) Have a proper sleep schedule-Get up and go to bed at same time everyda y (body’s natural clock –cicardian rhythm will be accordingly activated) B) Good sleeping environment (Quiet, cool, dark, comfortable bed room without noise, light), C) Avoid caffeine/alcohol/nicotine 4-6 hours before bed time, D) Avoid day time sleep, daily exercise, light reading for 15 minutes daily before going to bed E. Avoid anxiety/stress/depression/fear/boredom/lack of motivation F) check your hemoglobin, BP, do a thyroid function test to rule out hypothyroidism G) consult physician for advice and treatment.

Are there any medicines that can increase your stamina? I am sportive and very active. But usually feel dizzy by the evening. Are energy drinks and protein shakes good for increasing stamina?

Regular moderate exercise & good nutrition can be helpful. Energy drinks & protein shakes are for sports person who needs instant extra energy. Hi doctor, I am having stomach noises after eating, having anxiety attacks. Take your meal regularly and timely. Avoid fasting, Don’t skip your breakfast. 5. Stop smoking, consumption of alcohol and tobacco, excess tea or coffee, carbonated drinks if you are having, 6. Avoid stress, have adequate rest, sleep for 7-8 hours daily in night, go for regular exercise, practice yoga/meditation 7. Take one tablet of pan40 in the morning before breakfast daily for few days .8.Consult Gastro enterologist for further advice

Here is a sample diet to help you understand the diet. Early Morning: Green tea (sugar less) Breakfast: non fried preparations/ whole wheat bread/ vegetable poha, upma, etc. / idli sambhar etc. Mid-Morning: Fruits (avoid the carbohydrate rich fruits like grapes, banana, custard apple and watermelon) Lunch: 2 dry chapatti + sabji 1 katori + dal or skimmed curd – 1 katori + salad 1 katori Evening Snacks: Tea / Coffee sugarless + high fiber bis. OR Sprouts 1 katori Dinner: 2 chapatti + vegetable 1 katori + skimmed buttermilk 1 glass + salad 1 katori. They should walk for at least 30 minutes per day.

If you have been diagnosed of having diabetes, then proper treatment has to be initiated with either oral antidiabetes drugs or insulin depending on sugar levels. In addition a changed life style has to be adapted like - regular exercise every day for more than 1 h, avoiding sweets, direct sugar, deep fried foods, fruits like mango, chikoo, grapes and bananas and also avoid smoking & alcohol. Plus maintain weight near normal (ideal body weight = height in cms - 100 x 0.9 = ibw kg). Waist line should be 85 cms.

Hello, First of all there is nothing to get depressed as the permanent recovery is possible. You have progressed to almost in early forties, if your sexual system was weak in the beginning it will definitely going to make you upset now. Weak penis nerves, congested prostratic gland and improper digestion are main reasons behind your early ejaculation. It can be corrected permanently with a few weeks of ayurvedic treatment.

The other part of the solution is to start taking healthy healing diet which includes fruits and salads-this kind of food will give your stomach much needed comfort of natural digestive substances in the body that will enhance the recovery of your acidity problem.
