Sir/ma'am please help. My girlfriends period started from 10aug an ended on 15th aug. We had you protected sex on 27th of aug. I believe I did not cum Inside her but since she was not sure so she took ipill (ecp) after 6 hours of intercourse. After four days i.e. On 1st aug at 1: 30 am, she started bleeding and she said that the pain and blood was just like her periods. We both are very tensed as we don't want any pregnancy. please help. This is probably the side effect of ipill. Probably, not pregnancy. Still to be sure, please get urine pregnancy test done. Do not worry. Ipill is notorious to cause such side effects.

Dear , Marfan syndrome is an inherited disorder that affects connective tissue ? the fibers that support and anchor your organs and other structures in your body. Please understand, this has nothing to do with your mental issues. Your phobia and breathlessness could be due anxiety disorder. Anxiety disorders are a category of mental disorders characterized by feelings of anxiety and fear, where anxiety is a worry about future events and fear is a reaction to current events. Mr. Lybrate-user, I am a bit surprised to see such high sugar levels in spite of regular treatment. I would be glad to be of help, but would like to know following details: 1) current fasting and pp sugar levels and hba1c%, 2) dietary pattern giving details of day's intake, 3) extent of daily exercise - brisk walking etc, 4) present drugs with dosage and any complaints in addition to these. Follow these tips to lightens and remove the pimple marks -. 1. Take fuller, s earth (multani mitti) and sandalwood powder (chandan powder) mixed in same quantity mixed in water and apply on the mark in night and wash it after 1 hour. It will slowly removes the marks. 2. Take a piece of aloe vera. Apply gel of leaves on mark daily. Wash it after 30 minutes. 3. Crush one tomato and apply the paste on mark. It will lightens the mark definitly. 4. Soak cotton gauze in rose water and clean the dark marks 2-3 times daily. 4. Take carotene rich vegetable suchas carrots, beetroot and fruits- mango, pineapple, strawberry regularly. You can consult me privately for your doubts and detailed treatment.

How important is diet for a person of 25 years old, who is working and also preparation for higher education? I work 12 hours a day in a manufacturing unit. Finding time to study regularly and maintain my diet is very hard altogether. Kindly enlighten me with some tips so as to be efficient with my studies which is my almost priority? Also please tell me how much to sleep regularly? Also about power naps.

The last part of your question is very relevant. If you are studying hard, you will need at least 9 hours of sleep. The diet is very important and so the suggestions below will help in many regards for your studies. Daily exercise of at least half an hour is a must. Even if you go to a gym, ask for aerobic and/or callisthenic exercises with whatever else you are doing. A healthy body harbors a healthy mind. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is ideally rested to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. Jigsaws and Rubik cube stimulate different permutations to finally settle on the most likely one. Picture completion and anagrams help approach problem-solving from several angles. Do Sudoku, and memory co-relation activities and skills. Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables), nuts, avocado, eat dark chocolate, consume less of fat and use olive oil instead, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. You need to check out if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Have a special place of learning, which should be well lit, with soft painted walls, well-ventilated, with no distractions. When you get bored, study by writing. If you repeat learning, at least, five to seven times, you will apparently remember for a longer time. Sit comfortably but do not slouch. The reading material should be of a fairly large print. Study at small intervals of about 40 minutes and then take a break or change the subject. Short-term memory is a faculty of the left brain, and long-term memory is a feature of the right brain. When people are stressed, they tend to favor the right brain and abandon the left brain, where short-term memory resides. So, it is really very simple: deal with the stress and activate left brain functions. Here are a few suggestions to activate left brain function: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. There is a new exercise called Super Brain Yoga, which is done by holding the right earlobe with your left thumb and index finger, and the left earlobe with your right hand’s thumb and index finger. In this position, you must squat down and rise up and do this for five minutes every day. There is some memory enhancing techniques and study methods that your teacher will be able to guide you with. If your home life is full of distractions and stress, it is likely to affect your memory, adversely. In that case, I suggest that the family goes for counseling too. The following foods do help too: Blueberries, walnuts, turmeric, Spinach, tomatoes, broccoli, acorn squash, green tea, oily fish, boiled egg, turkey, apples, oatmeal, leafy greens, lentils, pumpkin seeds, avocado, cinnamon, thyme, sunflower seeds, and red wine. Avoid sugar and junk food.

Hello Doc Greetings! Sir/Madam, I cannot swallow stiff and dry food, It gets stuck in my food pipe, I have to take a gulp of water twice or thrice during the meal to push it through. Once in a while the water kicks back along with the food. I try chewing my food properly before swallowing. Please help me.

Get your gastroscopy done from a gastroenterologist. Boil jyeshdhamadh in water and strain. Drink water in small portion frequently. Take himcocid syrup 2-2-2 chandrakala gas 2-2-2 eat bland diet for few days. Avoid oily spicy sour food. Stop eating junk and outside food.

Amla or the Indian gooseberry is said to be highly effective in increasing facial hair growth. It may be used alone or in combination with mustard leaves. Here are some other health benefits of amla oil. Simply massage a little amla oil onto your face and leave it on for about 20 minutes; then rinse using cold water. The alternative is to wash and grind a few mustard leaves into a paste and mix in a few drops of amla oil into this. Apply this paste to your face, leave it on for about 15 minutes and then rinse with cold water. Do this 4 times every week and you will observe an improvement in growth of facial hair. You could generously apply some eucalyptus oil over the chin, sides and the area above the upper lip at night. Eucalyptus oil has certain properties that induce hair growth. Rectify any nutritional deficiencies that may cause reduced facial hair growth.You should eat nutritious food that is high in protein. Do not forget to include green vegetables, bananas in your daily diet as these are known to help promote hair growth. Stay away from fried and fatty foods. Certain minerals and vitamins help hair growth too for example Vitamin C Vitamin E and B6. Try and avoid or control your alcohol consumption as much as possible. Stress is also one of the popular reasons for poor facial hair growth. So it is advisable to diffuse your stress levels by exercising regularly. Practice deep breathing exercises, yoga and other facial exercises that improve blood circulation and increase the oxygen intake. Hydrate your body and skin well by drinking at least 6 to 8 glasses of water and fresh fruit juices. Trim your facial hair regularly so that any dry hair that blocks new hair growth can be eliminated. Take good care of your skin by cleansing and exfoliating. Keep the pores clean by taking steam once in a while. Avoid using strong fragrant products like shampoos, after shaves, colognes and so on the face directly that may burn or damage facial hair. Use milder shampoos and shower gels instead. If still the problem persists take homeopathic treatment with zero side-effects. Consult.

Gud question. You need to do exercise of your hand to make it muscular. And for that you need to go to gym where there are special instructer who will guide you to do exercise for your hand. In addition if you want to make your hand muscular you need to take high protien diet. If you are a vegetarian you can take cereals like mung chana etc. Soyabine is a very good source of protien. Soyabine vadies are available in market that you can add to your sabji. Or you can have soyabine floor which you can mix it with wheat flour in apropriate amont nd make roti ot paratha from that. Drink more milk and milk products like cheese. You can also take protien powder. So many such powders are available on online market. And you can also ask the gym instructer for this powder. They can guide you for that. And if you are nonveg its easy as most nonveg food are rich in protien. You can eat eggs. Or tandoori chisken which is very rich in protien. You have said that you are 66 kg. So you need to take 66 gram of protien per day. And for that if you eat only eggs you can have 6 to 7 eggs per day.
