I am 22 years old male and I weigh just 48 kgs. I am very serious about increasing my weight but I couldn't. Adding to this, I could not eat much food even though I am hungry. Sometimes I even push myself to eat more but I feel like vomiting. So I stop with that. Sometimes just after having 2 hands of food, I feel like vomiting. My posture is lean and I sleep around 12 in the night for 6 to 7 hours. Please suggest me to gain weight.

I advise you to take proteins in form of food, rather than artificial/readymade products. If you r interested, I can give tips, & also, will advise few homeo medicines to put up wt. But here we should know few details abt your actual health in general, any issues, how is appetite, diet intake, etc. F ts nspite f all proper nutritious diet, you r not getting wt, then there might be certain reasonslike heriditary, or any, mal nutrition. To be excluded.

Lybrate-user 1st thing improve your digestive system by digesting your indigested food in the body by remedy medicines and walking regularly. Take high protein diet. Take aayurvedic chitrakadi bati after meal. Take ashwgandha powder twice a day with water. Take good sound sleep after meal. Avoid smoking if you do. Maximum intake of fruit juices and nuts.

Please follow the below recommendation for your conditions: Bananas are full of calories and contain high amount of carbohydrates and potassium that give you instant energy. Whosoever want to gain weight must eat a banana daily in the morning with a glass of warm milk. Add a teaspoon of sugar in it. Moreover, you can also have it after your meals. Note – Don’t eat bananas when you are down with common cold. Also please do morning exercise/walking daily. Take good sleep/balance diet/milk/cream/ghee in you meals. Keep bowels clear. Hello Mr. Lybrate-user weakness could be because of any of these lack of exercise. Lack of proper sleep over weight weather high temperature low bp low hb diabetes lack of adequate food, water intake. Try to rule out above causes if any. Rx sogadeberina sharabattu 10ml _0_10 ml with one cup water b/f if non diabetic ksherabala taila e/a _ massage 10 mins before bath for 2 weeks.

I'm 5'6" and weigh about 70 kilos. I run about 4 km everyday and enjoy it to the fullest. I've been told that running daily weakens the muscles and should not run so much. Above this I'm strictly vegetarian. Am I doing things right or am I going wrong in exercising this way?

Fast running is not advisable for common person, slow is ok for 20-30 minutes two times daily along with this do yoga also.

I want to be stronger, I am 16 year old, I am too thin, I want to be thick, give some tips, or any exercise to do.
To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1. Start with changing your lifestly. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2. Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow this regimen and you will soon start seeing the results.

Hi, stop eating junk and processed food. Do regular exercise. Make a habit of consuming one well ripen banana with a cup of warm milk. Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight. Include protein rich food in your diet. No drink before and with meals. Take frequent meals instead of 3 big meals.

Hello, The following symptoms may occur with hepatitis C infection: Pain in the right upper abdomen, Abdominal swelling due to fluid (ascites), Clay-colored or pale stools, Dark urine,Fatigue, Fever,Itching, Jaundice. You may be not feeling healthy because of weakness. To overcome this weakness, take Alfavena malt, 2 tsf, twice daily for 1 month. BC no. 27, 5 tabs twice daily. Hi lybrate-user1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit.

If menses r irregular since long then it should be investigated properly. Ultrasound, fsh, lh, tsh and prolactin blood tests should be done asap to find out the exact cause for irregular menses. Your weight is normal so you r unlikely to be suffering from pcod, which can be confirmed on ultrasound.

Dear, if you tired very fast and feeling weakness. Then you will definitely recover from weakness by following these very useful tips. * you should take proper balanced diet first. That means you have to take vegetables, milk, chapattis or rice, butter / cream, cereals (daals) or cheese every day. Very important thing, do not miss or skip your meals at any cost and take meals on time. * proper 6-8 hours sleep is very important. If your sleep is less than 6 hours, then you feel tired very early. So complete your sleep. * do breathing execises daily in morning & evening. Just sit down in peaceful place, close your eyes, take deep and long breaths in and out. Do it atleast for 10-15 minutes daily. You can also do pranayams like anulom vilom for better results. *take a walk, in first walk normally for 10-15 minutes for 15 days. You can do it on treadmill also. * you can take ashvagandha churn of baidyanath 1 teaspoon with milk daily for 2 months atleast to get your strength back. * check out your haemoglobin level in 3 months, if it is low you get tired early. So get treatment of low haemoglobin (anemia). If you have any disease like asthma /diabetes / hypertension, then get complete treatment of them. * avoid all fast foods and habit of smoking or drinking. You surely get great strength and recover from weakness by following these important things.

Helli lybrate-user thank for the question. On going through yiur question I hereby give you few remidies to help you to gain weight 10 more tips to gain weight: don't drink water before meals. This can fill your stomach and make it harder to get in enough calories. Eat more often. Drink milk. Try weight gainer shakes. Use bigger plates. Add cream to your coffee. Take creatine. Get quality sleep.

To increase weight change food habites add in your daily food carbohydrates, rich proteins, vitamines, minirales, green vegitabales, dry fruites, fruites, milk end milk products. Do arobic excersices, yoga, walking will help. At present mango also increases weight.
