Life of hip prosthesis is variable and depends on reason for which surgery was done, what type of implant was used and whether it was a cemented or uncemented hip, body weight. But in good hands survival ship can easily be attained more than 10- 20 years.

I had knee pain. When I bend my right knee, a sound (clicking sound) is coming. What should I do. Sometimes its paining, sometimes its not paining.

Hi, Looking at your symptoms you could be having a locked knee which generally happens with an injury of meniscus. Kindly visit an orthopaedic surgeon who will examine you and suggest further investigations if required. If meniscal injury is to be diagnosed it has to be done in an MRI scan only.
