There are many benefits claimed by certain people about drinking water by copper cup. But scientifically what is the exact benefit is unclear. Plus in diabetes there is no proof of any specific benefit.

The liquor that comes out contains sperm, it cannot be seen with eyes. To know your sperm count, you need to get semen analysis. Do not feel bad about he things that are not there. Sperm count can be increased by various way if your low count is confirmed by tests. Take care.

I am 48 years diabetic from last 10 years. HBIC is 7.1 after oral medication. One senior doctor suggest me to take insulin Inj Rayzodeg 10 daily before breakfast. My weight is perfect with height. He is told me take insulin for three months, after 6.5 HBAic I will stop the insulin.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. According to me there is no need for Insulin now. A simple lifestyle adaptation will help achieve desired HbA1c%. My suggestion is: 1) Reduce present food intake by about 10 to 15 %, 2) Avoid sweets completely, avoid deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, foods made of maida. 3) Increase intake of green leafy vegetables, salads and permitted fruits, 4) Increase the level of exercise to about 1 and half hour every day, 5) Avoid alcohol and smoking (if you are not indulging in these then not to worry). Extra exercise and slight reduction in carb intake will bring down your glucose more effectively and you will be able to reach a HbA1c% <6.5. Thanks.

Do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min. Afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. Start natural calcium supplement. It is normal to lose about 30-80 strands of hair in a day. The common reasons behind hair fall are lack of essential nutrients in the body, improper and unhealthy dietary habits, hormonal imbalance, certain medications, dandruff, alopecia and other scalp disorders, stress and tension etc. Natural oils such as coconut, olive, jojoba, almond etc. Can be used to massage the scalp for countering hair fall. Gently massage the scalp prior to head bath twice a week. Also check hemoglobin for anaemia and thyroid status with serum tsh. Have more proteins and trace minerals like copper, zinc, selenium in diet. Start taking a hair nutrition supplement. Keep stress away with regular exercise, yoga, meditation. Homoeopathic cream ANTIMARKS CREAM (BIOVALLEY) Apply twice daily in circular fashion Lemon Juice A quick and easy solution is lemon juice. Lemons have vitamin C that can lighten dark spots on your face. It’s easy to apply. 1.Put some fresh lemon juice on a cotton ball and rub it directly on the affected skin area. 2.Allow it to dry and then wash it off with plain water. 3.Continue applying this dark spot removal home remedy for at least two weeks to get the desired result. If you have delicate or sensitive skin, you can dilute the lemon juice with plain water, rosewater, or honey. You can also use lime juice to get rid of black spots, applying it in the same manner as described above. 2. Buttermilk Buttermilk is also beneficial in getting rid of dark spots. Like lemon juice, it also helps fade blemishes and black spots but without causing burning sensation. 1.Take four teaspoons of buttermilk. 2.Add two teaspoons of fresh tomato juice. 3.Mix the two ingredients (both have excellent bleaching properties) and then apply. 4.Wash it off after 15 minutes. The lactic acid in milk too, will gradually reduce skin pigmentation, and brighten and tone your overall skin complexion. So, if you do not have buttermilk, simply apply soak a cotton ball in milk and dab it directly on your spots. Leave it on for about 10 minutes and then wash it off Put milk on a cotton ball and dab it directly on your spots. Repeat this procedure twice daily for four to five weeks. You can also prepare a solution by mixing milk and honey and apply the solution to your dark spots, leaving it on for 10 minutes.

Dear Suji, The duty of your mind is to think. You cannot control your mind's thinking. Once you just leave your mind without diversion, it always end up in negative territory. But certainly you can divert your thinking. You can make your mind to be always positive by engaging in creative activities, hobbies, games and passionate towards whatever you do. Thereby you can reduce your stress and tension also. Once you can do this, loss of proper sleep and stress also can be made normal. Please consult a psychologist for more advice. Take care.

Hi doctor, I have kidneys stones. I did ultrasound and report says that I have 9.2 mm stone in lower calyx of right kidney with fullness of pelvicalyceal system. What does fullness of pelvicalyceal system means? And secondly it says that Lt. Ovary is bulky and shows multiple small peripherally arranged follies with echogenic stoma. It's volume is 7.6 cc. What does it mean?

Answering the second question first- due to hormonal changes, the sweat glands and other glands become more active and lead to release of oil from the skin, people who have oily skin develop pimples. You need to change some habits- like avoid oily and fried foods, wash your face often with a good face wash. As for concentration- it comes from focus- serious goals. If they have goals and have plans to achieve them concentration will follow.

You need to have a diet and exercise plan based on your BMI, age & weight and sex, presence of any diseases. There are exercises specific for each part like hips, thigh or abdomen .There are matters to be discussed privately. Comprehensive exercise& diet plan based on whether vegetarian /non vegetarian can be given if you ask privately. May also need to do some tests. Weight reduction can be achieved only by reducing the intake of food 1/3 of what you take now. And by appropriate exercise plans for each part like belly, thighs, legs etc. to burn off fat. Some tips 1) Drink three or four cups of water whenever you feel hungry and just before eating food 2) Take boiled or raw vegetable like cucumber, carrot etc. as half of your diet. Then take ¼ of your total as sprouted pulses / proteinaceous food like roti, cooked pulses and remaining with rice or other carbohydrates. Oil or ghee etc. should be just bare minimum. The most important is to burn off the energy intake by exercises. There is no short cut or medicines without exercise. The food we eat is utilised for our energy needs and the remaining will be stored as fat which leads to obesity. It is better to do some tests.

You have to follow correct diet as advised by your doctor, light exercise like walk for about 40 minutes on about 5 -6 days in a week, regular visit to your doctor for monitoring of blood sugar levels and review of medications. Get blood test for sugar in morning (fasting), 1 1/2 hours after morning principal meal and just before dinner. Show the report to your doctor and take his advice. Regular detail check up once 3 - 6 months for detection of diabetes complications if any.
