Dear lybrate user, your headache and body pain might be because of a number of reasons like, lack of sleep, stress, lack of proper food, vitamin deficiencies etc. You need to consult a doctor, who will check you physically and only then will be able to diagnose the real cause of your discomfort. It is advisable to visit your doctor first and follow his/her advise. Later on once you start feeling better physically, then again check with yourself, if you still feel depressed or sad then you may consult a counsellor, who will help you to get rid of your negative thoughts. First of all when any person gets addicted to these kind of habits, they can not quit easily as much as they got addicted. There will power, self motivation, consciousness of health, awareness of health dissorders play important role than using any medications. Mediacation will help 25% only. But rest of result depends on your committment, will power, obstinacy. No medicnes will do wonder. Even temporarily, if you developed some aversion also, you may get again the desire. Gradually. Always keep in mind that addictions once at a time will not be possible to quit suddenly. So that you need to decrease that number daily gradually, & divert your mind whenever you feel like to smoke, with some occupation, try to chew any mint gum, chocolates etc. Some times, councelling also needed based on severity of habit.

Hi i Am married for 12 yrs and want to be loyal to my wife. We don't yet have children and don't have a diagnosis of why. But my problem is more psychiatric now. My wife and me used to have a very loving relationship for couple of years. But slowly we had several arguments over silly things over the years and she kept blowing things out of proportion. I had an affair. I ended that and my wife though upset, also understood that situations drove me to it and her mistake also there for fighting immaturely over silly things. But my best friend who was supportive to us in the troubled times is now having an emotional affair with my wife. I don't think they had a sexual relationship, but she is emotionally attached to him and her text messages to him say she loves him. After all this; my emotions are in a turmoil and I tend to seek love outside and now talk to a couple of women intimately. I fear am turning into a love addict or something. My sexual relationship with my wife has been just once in a month or even less for nearly a year now. I know it's not a physical problem that I have and purely psychological. I have not confronted her or anything. But she knows I suspect her of having a relationship with him, but still continues to text him and such behind my back. At times she also acts loving with me. Our relationship has become like actors with no idea of what is true or not. Am 40 and she is 35. We are also running out of time to have a child. But in all this state I can't seem to want a child and she too refuses treatment. It's a stalemate now and I don't know how to solve the problems and which to tackle first. I am aware that a relationship has to be built on trust and such, but don't know how to break out of this vicious cycle and my seeming addiction of running after women.

Dear, you must be able to distinguish between mental disease and mental disorder. Your problem is a mental disorder. Not a mental disease. Hi my friend if you want to be mentally strong always be positive and think positive. Keep a goal in your life. Always think before you speak even if you are slow it does not matter. Do not smoke or drink or chew tobacco. Using your subconscious mind is a different thing altogether. For that you have to practice meditation for years together. Concentrate on all of your seven chakras and feel energy is passing through them. You have to be aware of bio-electric current which surrounds the meredians of your body. By practicing this if by chance your sixth chakra opens up (agnya chakra) only then you can control your subconsious mind. Be sure it is a difficult job. All saints start practicing these things at a young age of say 7. They acheive these powers only after 50 years. Good luck. Try your level best.

Hi my hubby refuses me to use social networks he hate the concept of social network friend making . One my fb friend texted me how are u sis? my hubby seen this text and started shouting on me who is he to call u sis! In what motivation u accepted his friendship he questioned me a lot.Really really feeling soo bad on his questions. I never ever questioned my hubby about his foreign trips and his frnds. I agree that this is not that serious a problem. There have been many cases of relationships developing through these social networks, which have destroyed many families. But I like that in your case you seem to have your head on your shoulders and seem to be a sensible girl. Your husband may be feeling insecure and is probably taking precautionary measures. You must have a serious talk with him about being bored at home the whole day and having nothing to do. He may suggest some good activities that will help you. Being idle is the devil?s workshop and that could be worse. It is also very difficult for him to keep tabs on you, if he travels out of the country so often. However, it still does not help to do things behind his back when he doesn?t like it. There is a trust problem, and either it his difficulty to trust you or you have given him cause for concern. If it is the latter, you must assure him. Sometimes, this is a good sign of how much he wants you all for himself, but to control you over this matter may be a bit far-fetched. Negotiate with him and find a via media approach. My suggestion is to tell him that he can check all your contacts and correspondence, until he is really assured and can trust you completely. Even when he is out of the country, keep everything for him to see as it is without any editing. Share the password so that he can examine the interactions even when he is away to be able to trust you. You must also tell your contacts not to address you with endearments that may be misunderstood, especially by your in-laws (as an excuse). I recommend that you find something that is not threatening to him and do that instead. For example, meet with your friends over meals, start a ladies? club, a women?s clubs, social get-togethers etc.

What is the severity of pain? is the pain continous or intermittent? is it pulsating? since pain is a complex phenomenon, there are many treatment options medications, therapies, and mind-body techniques. For past 3-4 weeks I have been feeling down. I don't like to eat too much i'm always thinking about things that has nothing to do with the work I am doing. Dear, You must be able to understand Concentration, attention span, recollection and distraction. If you are able to watch a movie for two hours continuously, if you are able to play a game for an hour, then you do not have any concentration problems. You can't be attentive towards your studies because you are not interested in it. You are able to watch movie and play game because you are interested in it. Human cannot be attentive towards anything for more than 10 minutes. Then you should study in such a way that your attention is continued and make the subjects are interesting to you. Effective learning techniques should help you. Recollection depends on anxiety, stress and other physical and circumstantial factors. Distractions while studying are plentiful. You should be able to overcome distractions or avoid distractions. Please understand the above. Change your study style and attitude accordingly.
