Homeopathic Remedies For Menopause!

MD - Homeopathy, BHMS
Homeopath, Indore
Homeopathic Remedies For Menopause!

The disruption of the normal female cycles of menstruation and ovulation after the age of 45 and the loss of her ability to conceive naturally is known as menopause. The associated symptoms of menopause are heat flushes, insomnia, weight gain, depression, nausea and fatigue. While hormone replacement therapy is the most common procedure to provide relief from menopausal symptoms, natural homeopathic remedies can also be used for the same. These remedies are completely safe as opposed to hormone replacement therapy which has a number of side effects.

The following homeopathic medicines and remedies can be used to treat menopause:

  1. A balanced diet which provides you with optimal nutrition can be helpful in treating menopausal symptoms. When you get enough vitamins and minerals, the physical discomfort caused by the symptoms can be reduced greatly.
  2. Phosphorus can help with migraines, extreme sweating, numb hands, fast pulse, memory problems and dry and itchy skin. Foods high in phosphorus content are meat, fish, cheese, nuts and seeds of pumpkins, sunflowers etc.
  3. Excessive deposition of fat can interfere with the hormonal cycles and cause imbalances in the level of estrogen and progesterone. So, regular yoga and exercise can be helpful.
  4. Amylenum nitrosum can provide relief from profuse sweating, shortness of breath and palpitations.
  5. Phytoestrogen or dietary estrogen is a compound found in foods such as soybeans, oats, barley, carrots, fenugreek, rice etc. Phytoestrogen can provide natural relief from menopausal symptoms.
  6. Aurum metallicum is used to get the tissues and organs to function normally again and control feelings of anxiety and claustrophobia.
  7. Aconitum napellus (wolf's bane) is a flowering plant and its extracts can reduce panic attacks, heat flushes, over excitability and depressive symptoms.
  8. Argentum nitricum is a nitrate compound of silver which is used to control excessive bleeding in the pre-menstrual stages.
  9. Belladonna (deadly nightshade) is beneficial for a large number of symptoms such as headaches, fatigue, insomnia, frequent urination, osteoporosis, abnormal weight gain and other nervous disorders.
  10. Bryonia alba, a flowering plant, is used as a remedy for vaginal infections, rashes and vaginal dryness that are common during menopause.
  11. Natrum muriaticum, in small amounts, helps to reduce stress. Stress can cause problems in thyroid function, cognitive functioning, digestive system functioning and it can elevate blood pressure levels rapidly.
  12. Nux vomica (strychnine) is a common homeopathic medicine for nausea, vomiting and indigestion. These problems are seen frequently in menopausal women, especially after meals at night.

I'm 8 week pregnant I took misoprostol tablet for abortion before 2 days but still no bleeding start. Is this normal? And what I do now?

I'm 8 week pregnant I took misoprostol tablet for abortion before 2 days but still no bleeding start. Is this normal?...
Hi Aman. Misoprostol alone will not help. Mifepristone as well as misoprostol are to be taken together, in a specific method otherwise the medicine is not effective. Incorrect dosage and techniques can result in side effects as well incomplete termination.

My monthly cycle is irregular I get my periods once in 4 months also I am gaining weight also I have swelling on face.

My monthly cycle is irregular I get my periods once in 4 months also I am gaining weight also
I have swelling on face.
In majority of the cases irregular menses are accredited to hormonal imbalance, but in some cases it may be pathological and secondary to some pathology of ovaries mostly. Now if you want to regularized the menses then you must establish permanent balanced first and this can be achieved only with homoeopathy, because in modern medicine we get only a hormonal support with a very temporary relief. But with homoeopathy you can strike the hormonal balance permanently which later on also give you regular menses even if you stop the medicine.

Holistic Healing and Wellness

MBBS
General Physician, Jammu
Holistic Healing and Wellness

Body and Mind are the physical manifestations of Supreme Energy .They get inflicted with pain, sickness disease on account of attachment to emotions like anger, jealously, fear, ego etc in our day to day life. Everyone cannot endure it with utmost calmness and positivity. Many gather negativity pessimism, guilt and remain frustrated forever. They develop abhorrence towards life.

As a doctor I feel that the only solution for this is to make them realize about their Inner Consciousness. This Consciousness is merely not a word but a connection with the Real Self; a mother who nurtures, cares and pours affection on her progeny.

Conceiving this on my clients I could observe a huge change in their health, their excitement growing gradually. They could explore their hidden potentials, strengths; became passionate, optimistic towards life. Indeed they could surmise a purpose to their life. They were healed at all levels be it physical-mental-Spiritual. They could face the world fearlessly and were accepted in it whole heartedly. So a simple holistic environment could do wonders with minimum efforts.

Time to ponder over it and communicate your inner apprehensions and queries to get healed at the core. Isn’t it!

I am 26 years age Can I take manforce 100 tab for only 1 time? Is it safe for 1 time?

Md
General Physician, Bangalore
If you have any heart related problem or if you are taking nitrates or any other vasodilator medicines then it is better to avoid these medicines. If you don't have any of these problems then it is better to take 25 or 50 mg tablets first and see the response. If you want to take 100 mg then it is better to see a doctor for examination and if he says it's ok then you can think of taking it.

Get periods regular after getting investigation done like cbc to rule out infections which can affect your cycle and ultrasound abdomen. Take a low dose hormonal oral tablets starting from day five of cycle if reports are normal pills will help you regularize cycle if other reports are normal you don't need too many tests and you must get semen test for him also.
