I am a 56 year old women. I am suffering from black pigmentation marks on my face for the past 2 years. I try all cosmetic creams but it doesn' t seem to fade away. Rather its becoming more dark if anything. Please consult.

Use melaguard spf 50 sunscreen in morning 15 minutes before going out in sun. Repeat after 4 hours. At night apply lumaglow cream over black spots for 2 hours.

Malaria is caused by aparasite which is transmitted to human being by the bite of female anopheles mosquito 1. Intermittent high fever with chills 2. Profuse sweating 3. Headache, fatigue 4. Nausea, vomiting 5. Diarrhea 6. Anemia7. Enlarged spleen prevention 1. Take anti mosquito measures like use of mosquito net, mosquito repellent, 2. Spraying of insecticides in surrounding and keep it free from vegetation, 3. Wearing full sleeve shirts in the evening, 4. Discarding empty containers for collection of water and promoting mosquito breeding.

Cough and cold have no relation with pimples or acne. Acne occurs only to those who are having an oily skin. Keep your face free from oil. Use a face wash containing salycylic acid like ahaglow s face wash. Topical benzoyl peroxide and clindamycing helps in curing but should be applied only after a dermatologists prescription. Regards.

Take one capsule of vital 4g daily after lunch for one week. Drink water adequately. Drink fresh fruit juices, green tea daily. You will be fine.

I am 60 years old male and I used to do my body check-up in every 6 months from last 10 years. Presently, I am retired. Yesterday I had done my routine check-up and got report. As per report cholesterol is 301 and Uric Acid is 8.1 (seems to be high) and blood sugar is normal. Kindly advise how to reduce my cholesterol and Uric Acid.

Cholesterol is a waxy, fat-like substance that occurs naturally in all parts of the body. Your body needs some cholesterol to work properly. But if you have too much in your blood, it can combine with other substances in the blood and stick to the walls of your arteries. This is called plaque. Plaque can narrow your arteries or even block them. High levels of cholesterol in the blood can increase your risk of heart disease. Your cholesterol levels tend to rise as you get older. There are usually no signs or symptoms that you have high blood cholesterol, but it can be detected with a blood test. You are likely to have high cholesterol if members of your family have it, if you are overweight or if you eat a lot of fatty foods. You can lower your cholesterol by exercising more and eating more fruits and vegetables. You also may need to take medicine to lower your cholesterol. High LDL high cholesterol put you on a higher risk of atherosclerotic diseases and heart attacks especially if you have other is factors including hypertension diabetes or a history of smoking so I would advise you to continue / start taking statins which are cholesterol medications the dose of which depends upon your cholesterol levels also you need to start changing your dietary habits and include a regular physical exercise at least 45 minutes a day 5 days a week into your schedule nonetheless you have to stop taking fatty and junk food good luck.

Gain weight and make fit will be possible with combined action of diet and exercise. Increase the intake of energy and protein with exercise then you will get increase in muscle mass and your weight will increase. Include good protein sources (Egg, Chicken, Mutton etc, Milk, Pulses, Legumes and Beans) in diet to reach the daily requirement. And include two fruit portions daily, and before one hour and after one hour of your exercise include protein rich snacks. Take at least 2 to 3 liter water. In between meals maintain at least 2 to 3 hours gap. Be regular in exercise. These all thing we can say in general and person to person plan will vary. Before exercise also include easily absorbable energy source like fruit juices with your protein rich snacks. In between exercise sips the water, don't gulp as such and after exercise once your heart rate come to normal take sufficient water and protein rich food from above mentioned sources. Make sure you are including all different colored fruits and vegetables in diet. Through maintaining proper required diet and life style normally you will get the weight gain, If you are not getting proper hunger to eat food even after following proper life style for a time period then go and consult a doctor in Gastro department. What I said is healthy life style and food habit. Don't go for any short cut to get weight gain, Improve your life quality with exercise, food and proper rest (at least 7 hours continuous sleep in night), then gradually you will get healthy weight gain and maintain it.

Dear exercise is very important for losing weight. Do running early morning. Or join aerobics. Drink luke warm lemon water early morning. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice.
