I am 28 years male and suffering from heel pain in my left foot. When I touch the right side of the left foot it pains a lot. I think there is an issue with the bone, however, I am not sure. As a patient I have no knowledge about this issue. It even sounds a noise when I move my foot heel up and down. It has been causing me trouble from several months. Hi lybrate-user, you need to wear soft soles and high heel slippers. Do contrast bath for feet. If pain doesn't get relieved, you have to get your vit d3 level checked (blood test). Take care.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

It depends on your posture while sitting, keep your back and neck straight and relaxed (not completely erect), do not use a stool if you have to sit for a long time, opt for a chair with back support, and place a lumbar roll on your chair where your lower back makes contact with the chair. Also if possible after every 30min-1hr stand up and take a short break of 5 minutes.

Dear lybrate-user, namaskar, I guess you have tennis elbow. Avoid sports activity if any. Else avoid any activity which causes you pain (for the next 15 days). Do hot fomentation and apply volitra gel, 2-3 times a day and support your elbow with a 3' crepe bandage in day hours. Take indocap sr and pentop, one each twice a day for 7- 10 days. I hope you will settle. If not. Revert to me. Take care.

Tk calcium supplements. Do hot fomentations. Muscular stiffness is your problem. For immediate relief tk tens therapy and quadriceps exercise you will fell better in a week.

Hi apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Dear, low back pain are often referred for physical therapy for four weeks as an initial conservative (nonsurgical) treatment option before considering other more aggressive treatments, including back surgery. The goals of physical therapy are to decrease back pain, increase function, and teach the patient a maintenance program to prevent future back problems. Common forms of physical therapy include: 1.Passive physical therapy (modalities), which includes things done to the patient, such as heat application, ice packs and electrical stimulation. For example, a heating pad may be applied to warm up the muscles prior to doing exercising and stretching, and an ice pack may be used afterward to sooth the muscles and soft tissues. OSee Physical Therapy: Passive PT (Modalities) for Back Pain 2.Active physical therapy, which focuses on specific exercises and stretching. For most low back pain treatments, active exercise is the focus of the physical therapy program. This article focuses on active physical therapy and exercise as a means to help recover from back problems and prevent or minimize future flare-ups of low back pain Low back pain has lasted between two and six weeks, or if there are frequent recurrences of low back pain, physical therapy is often recommended. Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Dear doctor, my husband is 28 years old and his legs are very week. I mean, if he walks for half an hour (even in the mall), his legs gets paining. His pain area is beneath the knee till ankle. He used to do oiling also so as to remove the pain but nothing happens. I think his bones are not strong enough. Please recommend solution.

Pain in legs is a common condition. Do hot fomentation keep a pillow under the legs at night &/when resting. Any way take caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days do knee exercises it may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

Take hot and cold fermentation asap. Keep your leg elevated. When swelling is reduced little bit, start doing ankle movements, like forward and backward.
