Hi lybrate-user, you are suffering from Anxiety. You need to check with a psychiatrist for medication and along with that consult psychologist for managing your fear naturally through therapy. You can consult me for it. Practice jacobs progressive muscle relaxation. Suggested tips before starting this progressive muscle relaxation script Find a quiet place that is comfortable for you. Practice at a regular time during the day. Preferably not after you have eaten Find a comfortable position. If you are sitting, then keep your back straight and feet flat on the floor. If lying down (the preferred option as your body is supported by the floor) then you can put a pillow beneath your knees for extra support. Adopt a passive attitude to PMR. When tensing muscles (without straining), do so for roughly 5 seconds. When you relax your muscles do so for roughly 15-20 seconds before progressing to the next muscle group. Tense each muscle group once before progressing. Progressive muscle relaxation script Start out with a few relaxing breaths. Use the diaphragmatic breath, and as you exhale feel the tension begin to ebb away. Clench your fists. Move your awareness to your hands. Clench both of your fists for up to 5 seconds. Release for 15-20 seconds, imagining the tension ebbing out of your hands. Tighten your biceps. Move your attention to your arms. Draw your forearms toward your shoulders, creating a bicep. Hold for up to 5 seconds and then release for 15-20 seconds. As you release and imagine the tension flowing out of your biceps. Forehead and scalp. Move your attention to your forehead. As you inhale lift your eyebrows and wrinkle your forehead. Hold for up to 5 seconds and then release for 15-20 seconds. As you release, feel the relaxation of the muscles of the forehead. Facial muscles. Move your attention to your facial muscles. Furrow your eyebrows and purse your lips. Try to pull all of your facial muscles towards your nose. Hold for up to 5 seconds and then release for 15-20 seconds. As you release feel the relaxation of the facial muscles. Jaw. Bring your attention to your jaw. Clench your jaw tightly, feeling the tension in the surrounding muscles. Hold for up to 5 seconds and then release for 15-20 seconds. Relax the muscles and allow the tension to disappear. You may feel your mouth begin to open a little. Neck and shoulders. Now bring your awareness this region. Shrug your shoulders towards your ears. Feel the tension in the surrounding muscles. Hold for up to 5 seconds and then release for 15-20 seconds. Feel the tension in the muscles ebb away. Upper back/shoulders. Now bring your awareness between the shoulder blades. Push your shoulder blades back as if you were trying to get them to touch. Feel the tension in the surrounding muscles. Hold for up to 5 seconds and then release for 15-20 seconds. Feel the tension in between the shoulder blades ebb away. Upper chest. Now bring your awareness to your upper chest. Tighten the chest muscles and hold. Feel the tension in the upper chest muscles. Hold for up to 5 seconds and then release for 15-20 seconds. Feel the tension in the chest muscles flow away. Stomach. Now bring your awareness to your navel area. Try to draw your navel in to your backbone. Feel your stomach muscles tighten. Hold for up to 5 seconds and then release for 15-20 seconds. Feel the tension in the abdominal muscles dissipate. Buttocks. Now bring your awareness to your buttocks area. Squeeze your buttocks together, consciously tightening the muscles in this region. Hold, hold hold…and now release for 15-20 seconds. Feel the tension in these muscles disappear. Thighs. Now bring your awareness to your thigh muscles. Try not to contract your stomach muscles as you consciously tighten your upper thigh muscles. Hold, hold hold…and now release for 15-20 seconds. Feel the tension in the thigh muscles dissipate. Calves. Now bring your focus to your calf muscles. Consciously tighten your calf muscles by pointing your toes. Hold, hold hold…and now release for 15-20 seconds. Feel the tension in the calf muscles flow away. Feet. Now bring your focus of attention to your feet. Tighten your feet by curling your toes toward the ground. Hold, hold and hold some more…and now release for 15-20 seconds. Feel the tension in the feet flow away. Mentally scan your body for any residual tension. If you find a muscle group with residual tension then tense and relax this area again. Feel a wave of relaxation, from the top of your head to the tip of your toes. When you are ready bring your awareness back to your breath and slowly open your eyes. This entire progressive muscle relaxation sequence should take you 15-25 minutes. You may need cognitive behavior therapy for coming out of your fear. All the best.

It may be because of stress or some physical problems inside body. Try to get rid of stress. Get a check up by sexologist to diagnose the cause and get that cause treated.

What you should know about Urinary Incontinence?

Urinary incontinence is the inability to hold urine in the bladder because of loss of control of the bladder. The severity may range from temporary to chronic, depending on the cause of this disease. Urinary incontinence is more common in women than men and can be categorized into three types.
 

Types and symptoms of urinary incontinence

  • Stress incontinence: This incontinence may occur while participating in any physical activity such as a sudden cough, laugh, sneezing or exercising. The stress here refers to the sudden physical pressure that a person experiences, leading him/her to urinate involuntarily.
  • Urge incontinence: A sudden, involuntary contraction of the muscular wall of the bladder causes an urgency to urinate. This urgency can be formed by a sudden change in position or sex.
  • Overflow incontinence: This is more common in men with prostate gland problems, damaged bladder or blocked urethra. The person has an urge to urinate frequently but in small amounts.

Causes of urinary incontinence
There are a number of causes of urinary incontinence ranging from aging to cancer and physical damage to the neurological disorder.

  • Aging: With age, the bladder muscle weakens and the chances of incontinence increases.
  • Damage: Since the pelvic muscles support the bladder any damage to it (surgery or any procedure to remove the uterus) can lead to urinary incontinence.
  • Enlarged prostate: Enlargement of the prostate gland in older men may give rise to this condition.
  • Cancer: Urinary incontinence may be associated with untreated prostate cancer, which is a side effect of treatments for it.
  • Menopause: Estrogen is a hormone that keeps the lining of bladder and urethra healthy. After menopause the production of estrogen is decreased, increasing the chances of urinary incontinence.

Prevention: Urinary incontinence is not preventable but some steps can be taken to reduce the risk of it. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, avoiding smoking, practicing pelvic floor exercises, avoiding caffeine and acidic foods and eating more fiber to prevent constipation can help decreasing the risk of it. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an urologist.

Hi it looks as if you did crash diet due to which these problems have started. Start healing yourself naturally now. No more dieting. 1. Start taking 3-4 fruits everyday. 2. Drink a glass of lemon water in morning and evening. 3. Eat more vegetables. 4. Take 20 almonds everyday. 5. Eat meals/ small snack every 3 hours. 6. Never stay hungry. 7. Eat proteins like a cup of dal, lobia, dried peas, rajma with every meal. 8. Take curds/ paneer regularly. 9. One cup coffee everyday. Do 30 mins of active exercise/dance/aerobics everyday. All your problems like hair fall/ low bp will get resolved slowly. Do for one month and report back for consultation in case you want to follow up.

Dear lybrateuser, - Your pain could be due to muscular or other soft tissue problem - do not lift weight, bend, exert till pain subsides - do hot fomentation of the affected area twice a day - apply pain relief gel thrice a day, apply lightly, do not rub - take a pain relief tablet if pain is more.

Usually breast feeding need not be stopped if the mother is on antibiotics. Also 11 month old baby is already eating from the family pot. So breast milk is more for pacification at night. Do give him 3 major and 2-3 minor meals contain dal, chaval, veges, soups, mashed roti, banana, mango, dahi etc. Proper complementary feeding takes care of 80% dietary requirements.

Just do this small exercise. Sleep with legs raised up from waist against the wall making 90 degree angle with upper part of body. For 10-15 mins. Your headache will be relieved.

Hi Sir, My brother had cough & fever from Sept-Nov 2015 he was on Antibiotics, Paracetamol and cough syrup for same time but didn't got any relief finally done Chest CT scan in Nov and found Pleural Effusion, pleural fluid aspirate done on 24th Nov but whole fluid didn't not aspirated because patient get vertigo problem during aspiration so doctor stop aspiration, from 24th Nov TB treatment started. He got mild relief from cough and fever But after 15-20 days he again faced severe cough and mild fever, again CT scan and Chest sonography done and found some pleural fluid. Again, pleural fluid aspiration done and TB treatment continue, from that day he started getting relief day by day. Now is feeling absolutely fine. TB treatment is continue from Nov till today. From April he started feeling Hip shoulder back knee and Feet pain, some blood test done and found Vitamin B12 & Vitamin D is very much deficient. Both vitamin B12 and D injections and capsules Tablets supplement started and got felling better but didn't get any relief in Feet pain. Since last 40 days he having pain, pin needles and burning sensation in both feet. As per doctor prescription all types pain killer reliever like Dynapar SR, Zobid Zerodol SP etc taken but till today didn't got any relief in feet pain, even pain killer didn't work for 1 hour. We took opinion from Orthopedic and Neuro Surgeon and done MRI of Spine and Feet, MRI is normal as per MRI report but Feet pain and burning is still persist Now we consult with Neurologist, he said it look that it's Neuropathy due to TB medicine Isonizad. He said to consult TB physician and stop taking Isonizad and he prescribed Tab Pregabalin, Zen 100, Ultracet and Deep Senz ointment. We again consult with our TB physician, he said TB drug Isonizad can't be withdrawal because if we stop it TB May relapse later. As per doctor TB treatment will continue for more 3 months i. E. Till the end August Feet pain burning pin needles sensation is still persist after 4-5 days treatment of Tab Pregabalin, Zen 100, Ultracet and Deep Senz ointment. Pain is severe that patient not getting any relief. So now we are very confused and can't understand what to do. Pls advise what to do to get relief from pain Thanks & regards.
