I had noticed blood traces at the beginning urination about one month back. I carried out a blood urine examination it said PSA as 7.69, Further scanning showed prostate is of normal size. I took ciplox 500 for a month and retestedt PSA and the result showed 7.67. The doctor said that a biopsy is needed. Since I am 74 years old, I don't intend to go for biopsy. If I leave it as is, will there be any complication later? Is there any medication available for high PSA?

Yes, go in for the biopsy. If a pathological specimen confirms the benign nature of the growth then you should not be worried. Medications usually help and if the psa is high even after surgery you may have to go in for a whole body scan. There may be other foci in the system that may be elevating the psa and this is called as false positive. I hope this helps.

You'll be surprised by how much more this will enable you to remember. For example, imagine you're at a party and are introduced to five people in quick succession. How can you quickly memorize their names? Pick out a single defining visual characteristic of each person and connect it to a visual representation of their name, preferably through an action of some kind. Remember: Memory is predominantly visual. 3.Create a mental memory tree. If you're trying to memorize a large number of facts, find a way to relate them in your mind visually with a memory tree. Effects of Smoking on Sexual Health

Smoking, in general, has a negative effect on the human body. It can cause a host of disorders such as mouth cancer, blood pressure problems, and lung cancer. Smoking affects the sexual performance of both men and women.

1. Impotence: Smoking can damage the blood vessels that lead to erectile dysfunction (a condition where the penis cannot sustain an erection).

2. Decrease in libido: Smoking can cause various physical problems such as stamina reduction and lack of desire for sex. An individual who smokes won't be able to give an optimal sexual performance and this can further lower satisfaction levels.

3. Erectile dysfunction: Smoking can cause problems related to the circulation of the blood in the body. It can narrow the arteries that supply blood and this is directly linked with erectile dysfunction.

Mr. lybrate-user, For effective treatment of diabetes one has to either take oral antidiabetic drugs or Insulin injections or both. Otherwise, no other drugs (ayurvedic. Herbal or homeopathic), really help. Some of them even claim that they can cure diabetes. Which is absolutely false claim. If you are serious in controlling the condition then will have to restart with modern medicine drugs, plus diet control and regular exercise, then only it is possible to control it. In this communication we are supposed to give only general guidelines, but no prescriptions. So it will be better if you come in a private consultation with following details: Fasting & PP blood glucose levels (current), HbA1c%, dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise and details of any drugs being taken with dosage. Ulcers beneath your tongue is not because of any injection. It may be common apthous ulcers. For this avoid spicy food, do warm saline gargles three times a day, and take becasole tab once in a day. Your second question tooth can be break due to any trauma also or if their natural composition is weak. Doing root canal is good treatment so do not be anxious and get your treatment finished.

Saving a fallen tooth can prove to be useful. Wrapping it up in a piece of plastic or soaking it into milk or trying to keep it in place immediately after it has fallen can prevent any further harm. Consult a dentist immediately after undertaking one of the above measures.

I suggest you follow the below for your condition: Take Mag Phos 6x - thrice daily for next 2 weeks and update. Also do x-ray of the affected area. Heat and Ice Packs. I am 78 years old When I think of venturing out of home there is urging to stool or I hear some bad news this repeated urging to stool occurs. Yes u right u r classical case for homeopathy. U can go for argentum nitricum 1m take two powders of it and take one powder on one night and another one on second night. Powder mix in half cup of lukewarm water. And have it and sleep don't drink and eat anything after when u take medicine.

1) It is written in the article that hyperhidrosis can be cured by surgery by cutting the nerves connected to sweat glands. But there are millions of sweat glands. Then how surgery is possible on millions of sweat glands? 2) Why there is profuse sweating in case of a heart attack? Thanks.
