Keep a small pillow to support your lower back if you are driving a car. If you ride a bike then I would suggest good suspension for bike.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

take tab. asthalin-2 once a day for asthma. tab. dolo 500 mg sos for pain. syp. brozedax 10 ml twice a day for cough. avoid cold things. take medicines for 5 days. if symptoms persist do tests cbc. chest x-ray. and consult again.

Yes pain of cervical spondyltiis can spread to front of shoulder and chest and also to hand of the affected side. Avoid forward bending of the neck and remain in that position for long time. Exercise is the best option to limit the disease and get relief from spasm.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket . And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back . you may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * Gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * Surya Namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * In diet vegetable protein of cereal , B complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

You may be having deficiency of vitamin D. Normal level of vit D is between between 20-50 ng/ml. A level less than 20 ng/ml indicates Vitamin D deficiency. 1. Expose yourself to sunlight for 15-20 minutes daily in the morning 2. Take Milk, cheese, egg yolk, Fish (salmon/mackerel/ trout/sardines/tuna) cod liver oil, Mushroom, cereals, orange juice. 3. If you have deficiency of Vitamin D you have to take Vitamin D supplement 60000IU/week fo r 3 months after consulting physician.

Dear serious back problems are those which affect the spinal cord and nerve roots. You will have problems with radiating pain down the legs and if the nerve roots are compressed you can also have numbness. The more compression and you can also have weakness. There are lot of conditions which can lead to this ranging from discitis, disc prolapse, infections of the spine, seronegative inflammatory conditions, tumours, stenosis, listhesis etc. You will need to undergo blood tests and initially plain xrays before going for special blood tests and higher radiological investigation. First of all you have to reduce years weight. Yr weight should be below 60 kg. With years present weight no use of depending upon tablets alone.

Say No to Back Pain

In this post, I am just going to talk about some precautions which everyone should take with or without low back pain 

• do not move anything heavy by pulling it in front of you. Always push and never pull.

• do not maintain any one position for a prolonged period. If you have been sitting for an hour, take a break walk for sometime and then continue with your work.

• do not bend over to lift anything heavy off the ground with knees straight. Lift heavy items with your legs, not your back.

• do not bend forwards. Bending forward does no good to anyone. It might twist your spine for all you know. So whenever you need to bend and pick up something, bend your knees first and not your back and pick up. A slipped disk (also called a herniated disk) happens when a disk between the bones of the spine bulges and presses on nerves, this is often caused by twisting while lifting. Hence, kep your back straight and bend at your knees.
