Muscular endurance are week due to stiffness ya lack of exercise. If stiff then do stretching or muscle relaxant medicine and after this start strength exercise like gripping exercise.

Hello . I am a 40 year old female .Married and have 2 kids .Am suffering from hypothyroid since last 3 years.I am recommended 75 MCG thyronorm tablets.And tsh is 1.92 now stable.Also regular shelcal 500. But I have not taken calcium since 2 months as regular intake caused flatulence.And heaviness in stomach.Is it compulsory .If yes then can u tell me a better calcium supplement. I have mild joint pains also .

You can avoid calcium supplement and instead take milk n curd in your diet. For joint pains rule out reumetoid arthrities if not,take multivitamins or pregabalin 75mg bed time.

You need to improve the tone of the muscles in a rhythmical manner. If you do that with proper diet restriction nothing will happen to you. Body pain is there after gym activity due to tiredness and you need to consume good protein and iron diet in your body which will help you to break the fatigue and body pain. You have to reduce the weight by walking minimum 3-4 kms per day. Slowly reduce the weight and slowly avoid adding salt in the diet which will help you to prevent water retention in the body. Excess salt in general leads to water retention in the body which might be the reason for you legs to pain as the leg will automatically become oedematous.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.
