To control asthma effectively. First is that you should avoid any triggering agents. Secondly. You need a pulmonary function test to see amount of airflow obstruction you have. Based on that medications will be started for you and later on the medicines can be tapered and stopped once you improve.

My father has an asthma. What is the effect of using an asthma preventer for long term?

MD - Pathology
General Physician, Amritsar
Patients of asthma need to use long term medicines for prevention and treatment of the condition. Medicines are prescribed keeping long term use in mind. Important in this is to go to specialist and follow the instructions. Moreover inhalers given for asthma have minimum absorption in blood stream, medicine from inhalers remains mostly within lungs only.

First find out yourself what foods cause allergy to you. You are the best judge. Then rule out these from your menu. Some herbs which strengthen the immunity and do blood purification and detoxification, help to control allergy when taken for few weeks as per directions.

The easiest way is to consciously avoid dusty areas. A more practical way is to come to a schedule of anti-allergic medication to control the allergies.
