Dear Mr. lybrate-user, your son can start using a face wash that contains Salicylic acid- twice a day. The treatment for acne/pimples depends upon the grade. It ranges from gels/creams to tablets to chemical peels. Any dandruff associated should also be treated simultaneously. It is best if you could take him to a nearby dermatologist so that the best treatment can be decided upon. I hope this answers your query!

Hey am having this problem of oily scalp from past two years and it's becoming worse by the day. My hair becomes greasy and scalp is very oily, I need to wash my hair every day and from past three months the pimples are growing on the scalp. Hello, hair glands in the scalp are supposed to produce oil that helps keep your hair moisturized but when they start producing too much oil; you get an oily scalp and greasy hair. 1. Avoid oiling regularly. 2. Use a shampoo made for oily hair. 3. Do not use hair gels. 4. Reduce stress 5. Take two tablespoons of white vinegar and add half a cup of water and apply to your scalp. Wash after 30 minutes. Don't comb too much, when you brush your hair, you take the oil from the scalp to the hair strands.

I am suffering with the very different problem of Constipation, may be it is not a constipation nd in medicine language it called something else, actually I have a problem of motion every day as I go twice or three time every morning and would not able to get cleared in one shot? HI Chances of pregnancy are negligible in sex 2 days prior to periods. Periods can be delayed due to unwanted 72. Get one urine for pregnancy and revert.

Effects of Excessive Use of Social Networking on Mental Health

Social networking refers to a multitude of websites that let the people from across the globe to get in touch with each other and interact through photos, videos discussions or audio. To name a few, Facebook tops the list by having over 1.2 billion active users monthly from across the world, followed by Twitter, Snapchat and LinkedIn.

As per the latest statistics, around 42% of populace online at one time, is using social networking sites either on their laptops or mobiles. Majority of this population is below 30 years of age, whereas the figure is changing for internet users aged 65 years and above. People use these sites to stay in touch with family and friends, to share things, express their views on matters and to find out what's happening in the other corner of the world.

But this usage can have many negative effects on the mental health and well-being of users both children and adults.

  1. It is addictive: It has been analyzed that these social networking sites are often addictive with people using them daily or even several times during a day. They log in to these sites for many reasons like to overcome boredom, distraction, to check their likes and comments which are usually a positive support after posting a status or information.
  2. It makes us do unfair comparisons: Various posts on social media at times make people compare their lives with others. And it is said, the grass is always greener on the other side, it makes you feel low thinking how idealized are the lives of people connected to you.
  3. Social media makes us restless: Many people start feeling restless when they are unable to access their social media accounts.
  4. Cyberbullying: Social media increases cyberbullying specifically in adolescents.
  5. Increased use of Alcohol: Social media glamorizes the use of drugs and alcohol since the teenagers often view the pictures of people using it and out of peer pressure would like to try them.
  6. Social media increases unhappiness: Enthusiastic users feel that social media fluctuates their moods also leaving them dissatisfied in their lives.
  7. FOMO: It might also lead to FOMO, fear of missing out. Pinterest might give you a feeling that you are not creative or talented, Twitter and Facebook might make you feel that you are not smart and are not enjoying your life enough.

Excess of social networking might also lead to problems like anxiety, feeling of imperfection, may induce a feeling of being miserable or in some cases might even cripple the basic need for social interaction. It has been known to create a digital landscape has exerts an unnecessary and increased pressure on the generation today and the general population has to a larger extent.

Hi this can be done in a few steps: eat less chapatis, less rice, i. E. Less carbohydrates. Take more pulses and pulses products. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoid taking creamed milk and milk products. Also avoid eating fried foods, junk foods, canned foods, etc. Must take salad with your every main meal. Drink plenty of water. Take green tea instead of normal tea but not more than twice a day. Walk at least for half an hour after dinner at night. Take exercises daily as it helps in better absorption of food.

Hair is made up mostly of protein so a protein rich diet is necessary. But not if your main source of protein is a large steak. In fact, eating large quantities of meat as americans do can be counterproductive. A steak will increase testosterone levels, and this has been linked to hair loss. Eggs are an excellent source of protein (see link below on how to boil the perfect egg). Also add nuts, seeds, beans and fish. Other good choices are organic soy foods, and hemp foods. I can add too that the korean diet has little or no meat on a daily basis.

Hi for reduced weight you should work out as per you consume calories and it will take time just continue work out. Take following remedies for loosing weight 1.arogya vardhini vati 2 tab before lunch and dinner 2. Abhayarishta 4 tsp before lunch nad dinner 3. Morning break fast=mung dal green soup 1 boul and if feel hunger have pomegranate or apple 4.lunch 2 chaati + fruit vegetable + if you like rice 1 bowl and dal + barley soup 5. Evening 4-5 pm have some milk with sunth or any fruit you like 6. Dinner barley soup 2 bowl and one fruit follow this diet you will get reduced weight.

I am alcoholic due to some my past stress. Without drink I can not sleep 1 or 2 am. So I want to stop drink. But how, I do not know. If any medicine for stop drink. Pls suggest me.

Dear Luise, Since alcohol is a sedative, when you stop drinking there is difficulty in sleeping. The brain gets used to the drinks. It will ask you to give drinks by disturbing your sleep. So, doctors' first medicine when you stop alcohol is a Calmpose kind of drug. There are many types of such drugs - both tablets and injections. Few act only for 2 hours, few acts longer than 24 hours. It will be given for 2-3 weeks initially, when you stop drinking, depending on your need. It is a drug to stop you from suffering withdrawal symptoms. It may be given throughout the day also for few days so that you will not go for alcohol immediately. You will also be given motivational enhancement therapy and stress management therapy in first 12 weeks. You can also start with anticraving drugs like Acamprosate, Baclofen and Naltrexone. They postpone your craving for alcohol. Not immediately - but in 3 months or so. They also make your brain to tolerate less and less alcohol. They are costly and need to be given for 9 months to a year in appropriate dose. You can also ask for aversion therapy with Disulfiram. It makes the alcohol into a poison. The effect of poison, you don't like. You will be OK after taking the drug daily. The drug acts only when alcohol gets into your blood. Since the poison effect happens as soon as you drink, you feel like not drinking or induce vomiting after drinking. This drug is cheap, only less than Rs.2/day. It can be taken for life. Better to assign someone who will give the drug daily to you. May be your wife or mother. All the other drugs you can take by yourself.
