Hi onion is very good vegetable to treat sexual impotence. It increases libido and strengthens reproducing organs. White onions are best for this purpose. Take about 5-10 gm root powder of Ladyfinger in a glass of milk. Add 2 tsp of mishri in this milk and drink it. This will prove helpful in improving sexual vigour. Apply pranacharya gopal oil on your penis and give a massage. It will strengthen your nerves and erection power will get better. You can take ayurvedic medicines too along with this.

Erectile Dysfunction - Can Condoms Induce it?

MD-Ayurveda, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Sexologist, Haldwani
Erectile Dysfunction - Can Condoms Induce it?

Condoms are one of the best forms of contraception out there against both STDs as well as unwanted pregnancies. Many people however, don’t feel comfortable wearing one most of the time. They would say it makes them feel restricted and also lessens the fun of sex. A real problem that has emerged in the wake of increased usage of condoms is condom-induced erectile dysfunction.

What is condom-induced erectile dysfunction?

You may be able to maintain an erection or are sexually aroused in a normal way, but suddenly go limp or lose the erection the moment you try to or put on a condom. This is a phenomenon that has been noticed in a large section of the male population. This phenomenon is known as a condom-induced erectile dysfunction. Many studies have shown that a large section of men, over 30% have faced or face condom-induced erectile dysfunction.

What are the causes?

Condom impotence varies from person to person. While some men may face it on and off or only a few times, others may face it regularly. Some of the causes, which it has been attributed to are mentioned as follows

  1. Having a new partner: More than a condom, it has been seen that a man’s anxiety is quite high while having sex with a new partner for the first time. While putting on a condom in front of a partner, anxiety levels may grow and result in you losing the erection.

  2. Choosing the wrong condom size: Condoms come in a variety of sizes. Choosing a wrong size will result in the arteries being constricted and cutting off blood supply to the penis. This may also result in erectile dysfunction. It is best that you try out multiple sizes beforehand and see what once fits best.

  3. Lubrication matters: While some men may be able to keep the erection while putting the condom on, many lose it immediately after or after entering their partner. This problem is primarily caused due to lubrication problems. So ensure that either the condom itself has enough lubrication or that you have a supply of lubrication separately.

  4. Timing: Many men in the excitement of having intercourse put the condom on too early. This will result in the condom not fitting properly and thus, resulting in a slip. This may further divert your attention and cause your erection to go soft.

Dulling of sensation is also a commonly attributed factor in which case you may want to try different types and brands of condoms although most doctors say that it is a psychological phenomenon rather than an actual problem. It is best to experiment to find where exactly the problem lies and which one resolves it, so that condom-induced erectile dysfunction can be avoided. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a sexologist and ask a free question.

While sitting there is a cracking sound inside my right knee, doctor said it might be deficiency of vitamin D. After some tests doctor confirmed that I have vitamin deficiency. He gave me vitamin powders and he said to stand in early morning sunlight so that I can get vitamin D. But I have not much time to stand in early morning sunlight. I'm a student so I have to get ready for school. Can I have some vitamin D rich foods? But I do not know what to eat, can you please suggest some vitamin D rich foods?

Hye. Thanks for the query. Vitamin D is essential for bone health. If you don't spend enough time in the sun or if your body has trouble absorbing the vitamin, you may not get enough.  Firstly it is important to understand that you need to have a balanced diet to help absorption of all vitamins. But there are some things you can do to increase the Vitamin D levels. Firstly get sunlight. Sunlight spurs the body to make vitamin D.A small amount of sun exposure without sunscreen can do the trick. If you're going to get it from the sun, about 20 to 25 minutes of exposure is helpful. Include in your diet foods like fatty fish like mackerel/bangda, an egg yolk, dairy, fish oil (capsules), ghee and nuts. Also you may have to take a supplement as per the physician's advice.

First thing you should do is to get rid off anxiety and stress as those are main offenders in many. You can try any of the following methods. You can do squeeze and stop technique. You can stimulate your partner to maximum before getting yourself stimulated. You can deviate your thought to something nonsexual when you about to near ejaculation. You can put on a condom or condom with anesthetic which will decrease the excessive stimulation on penis and there by prevent premature ejaculation. Hope this may help you. Let me know if you have any further query.

Hi. You have described your case very well, thank you for that. As you have mentioned, your hba1c was very well controlled at 6.7 last year. You need to check in again now. If it again shows that your diabetes is very well controlled, then there is no such need of changing a very well suited insulin regiment and experiment with a newer one. Thank you. Take care.

Sir I am 20 years old I have get an accident on my age of 15 years. Some injuries got on my head at that I checked in...
Head ache can be of many reasons and the commonest is visual refractive error of eyes, Checking eyes and correcting errors can cure headaches, similarly the cause can be migraine and tension. Tension relieving methods and migraine medication can sure these. Check your eyes first of all and do a blood CBC & TSH and inform me personally This includes the blood vessels, muscles and nerves of the head and neck. They may also result from changes in chemical activity in the brain. Primary headaches can occur when pain-sensitive structures in the head do not work properly. Common primary headaches include migraines, cluster headaches and tension headaches. Headache is a broad term that encompasses many different things. Headaches are pains that occur in any region of the head; they can occur on both sides the head or be isolated to a certain location. Headaches can radiate across the head from a central point or have a pincering vise-like quality. They can be sharp, throbbing or dull, appear gradually or suddenly and last for multiple days or less than an hour.4 There are multiple ways to define headaches. The International Headache Society (IHS) categorize headaches as primary headaches or secondary headaches, depending on what has caused them 1) Primary headaches Primary headaches are stand-alone illnesses caused directly by the overactivity of, or problems with, structures in the head that are pain-sensitive. This includes the blood vessels, muscles and nerves of the head and neck. They may also result from changes in chemical activity in the brain. Primary headaches can occur when pain-sensitive structures in the head do not work properly. Common primary headaches include migraines, cluster headaches and tension headaches. Some types of headache can be both primary and secondary as they may be an isolated issue or a result of another condition or illness. Such headaches can involve:  Direct physical stimuli, such as temperature and external pressure  Pain over the scalp (epicranial)  Physical exertion  Other miscellaneous headaches. 2) Secondary headaches Secondary headaches are headaches that are symptoms of another condition that stimulates the pain-sensitive nerves of the head. There are a vast number of different conditions that can cause secondary headaches, ranging in severity from an alcohol-induced hangover to a brain tumor. Secondary headaches can be the result of serious conditions such as stroke, but can equally be a consequence of eating cold food too quickly. In addition to those two examples, the following list should serve to illustrate the variety of different conditions that can cause secondary headaches:  Blood clots  Brain freeze (ice cream headaches)  Carbon monoxide poisoning  Concussion  Dehydration  Glaucoma  Influenza  Overuse of pain medication (rebound headaches)  Panic attacks  Stroke. As headaches can be a symptom of a serious condition, it is important to seek medical advice if headaches become more severe, regular or persistent. For example, if the headache is more painful and disruptive than previous headaches, worsens or fails to improve with medication or is accompanied by other symptoms such as confusion, fever, sensory changes and stiffness, a doctor should be contacted. Or contact me directly by this site
