Hello lybrate-user, to achieve weightloss - think long term. Weight loss achieved over short term, always comes back. There is a general approach and a specific approach as per individual patients metabolic profile. Try this general approach (see below) for 4 weeks. If this works then continue. If this is not enough then revert for further assessment and customised approach. With customised lifestyle modification approaches, people over 100-150 kg are also losing weight for long term. 1. Do not eat anything sugary or sweet. Zero sweetness in diet. 2. Eat plenty of salad in lunch and dinner along with other foods. 3. Do not drink any liquid calorie like cola or fruit juices. 4. Go for brisk walks or jogging for 45 minutes every day.

I have been operated for acute appendicitis in mid October 2016 and while operating they identified small infections on the bowel, after operation they suggested to undergo colonoscopy after one month of operation. After a week of operation I still fell the minute pain on the same area sometimes. I have 2 questions which I think it is makIng me feel worried, 1. Why I am getting similar type of minute pain even after operation 2. Why colonoscopy is required and will I have any risk after the procedure.

No risk involve in colonoscopy. Avoid outside spicy and fried food. Walk about 3-5 kms daily. There should be gap of 2hrs after dinner and sleep. Small and frequent meals is of help. Keep your blood sugar controlled. Raise your bed about 4" from headend side. Get your gastroendoscopy/USG/colonoscopy done. Tab Pantium-l 1 tab empty stomach.

I am having burning sensation around my chest for almost 4 years. I use to go gym regularly. But for this burning sensation I have dark circle & my body also does not grow properly. One point is to be noted that earlier I tensed much. Then my burning sensation was start & still continue. Some doctors say that It's due to gastric problem. I took pan 40, Dialoz DSR, but in vain. I also visited a neuro psychiatric. He suggested me take ocifril XR 75 & citogal plus. But this also went in vain. What should I do now?

Stress and anxiety are reactions to a situation and not a situation in itself. Gastric problems are often related to underlying anxiety which you may not be able to manage adequately by yourself. It's better to take psychiatric help so that root cause can be evaluated.
