You can always get your vitamin levels (B12, D) checked through blood test for confirmation. Besides deficiencies, this pain can also be due to muscular cramps that might happen due to lack of proper muscle strength. You will need to do strengthening excercises to help that. Thirdly, you will need to follow joint protection techniques like avoid long standing, avoid jerky movements like jumping on hard surface, avoid stair climbing etc till you redevelop the strength in the muscles around knee. You can consult to understand the excercises needed at this stage.

Hello, please check whether you have body temperature or not .This might be because of weakness also , so take Biofungin , 2 tsp twice daily and BC no. 27 , 5 tabs thrice daily. Bellis per. Q, 10 drops with water twice daily. Revert me after 10 days.

. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

From last 3month having acute back pain doctor suggested for a ap, lat xray image of d-l spine and found L3-L4 erosion and checked serum PSA-151, acid phosphatase 260 creatinine-9.97, normal BP, sugar level normal, usg abdomen mentions that prostatomegaly and biopsy result is adenocarcinoma of prostrate with PNI and gleason score of 7 (3+4, suggested for orchiectomy but with the help of nuclear medicine they diagnosed that multiple myeloma. Rightnow I am having chest infection, cough, fever, body pain, shall I confirm it as a c/o multiple myeloma? What are the proper diagnostic to confirm it? If it is multiple myeloma what will be the better treatment for it?

Hey. I am 17 years old. My knee cap was dislocated 5.5 months ago and I am still not feeling okay. My mri report which was done after 1 month of injury showed that I have 1.partial LCL tear 2.grade 1 meniscus tear 3.moderate knee joint effusion. I am still unable to climb the stairs with my injured knee and I am also walking with a lump. I am unable to walk normally .and my knee also does not look normal .its a bit larger than the normal knee .could you please help me out. I am very frightened? U have ligament injury along with meniscal tear. Complete rest knee joint- knee brace. Apply ice fermentation. Mild calf muscle stretch. Partial weight bearing walk. When you sit or lie elevate your leg. Avoid floor sitting. Avoid long standing, walking. If you take proper physiotherapy treatment pain and swelling gone in two weeks.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicines 1. Belladonna 30 ( 4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week. 2.Rhus Tox 30 ( 4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and update with the feedback. Keep a gap of 15 - 20 minutes in both the medicines.

Do you have a chronic illness for which you have taken any long term treatment? are any other joints in the body also involved in this disease process? I will advise you: 1) blood tests: cbc, esr, crp, serum uric acid, serum vitamin d levels as it will tell me whether there is any inflammatory process going on or not 2) x rays of involved ankle if possible 3) clinical picture of your ankle region pointing towards site of pain. First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket. And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back. You may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * surya namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * in diet vegetable protein of cereal, b complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

What would help you may be a course of 10 days of physio in a clinic. You take. Will relieve your pain. Then slowlyand ift or ust. That will first reduce your pain and then start on exercises. Exercises have to be taught bu the physio. So tht yo the right you do it the right way. As of now start a hot water fermentation for our back. The pain will reduc slowly.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on affected part. Take maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Avoid junk food. Spicy food. Fermented food. Tea. Coffee. Do pranayama early morning. Do exercises. Walk for atleast 30 minutes a day. Sleep minimum for 7 hours a day.

Six Common Causes for Shoulder Pain

The shoulder is one of the most important joints in the body that uses a ball and socket to join the arm to the rest of the body. Any pain can make it difficult to carry out motion in a comfortable manner. The shoulder consists of the long arm bone called the humerus, the collarbone or the clavicle, as well as the shoulder blade called the scapula. A layer of cartilage provides essential padding to the bones in this area and its two main joints. There are a number of issues that can cause shoulder pain. Let us get to know the six most common ones. 

  1. Rotator Cuff Injury: This is the most common cause of shoulder pain and it occurs when the four muscles or the tendons are injured. These muscles and tendons usually control the movement of the arm. This injury can involve strains and tears which may also be caused by constant lifting of heavy objects. 
  2. Rotator Cuff Tendonitis: This condition affects the tendons and muscles that help in moving the arm freely. This usually happens due to inflammation in the tendons. It is commonly experienced by patients who are actively involved in sports and other heavy physical pursuits in their line of work. 
  3. Frozen Shoulder: This is a debilitating condition that restricts the free movement of the arm and is also known as adhesive capsulitis. When the shoulder tissues become too thick, it leads to the growth of scar tissue that hinders proper movement and causes pain. 
  4. Osteoarthritis: Osteoarthritis is a condition that comes as part of aging bones that also become hollow and brittle over the passage of time, which leads to joint and bone pains in various parts of the body. It is a degenerative disease that is caused due to prolonged wear and tear as well as other factors including family history and sports injury.
  5. Bursitis: This condition is known to affect the fluid filled sacs that lie in between the joints. These are known as bursae. When the bursae suffers from swelling, the effect usually shows up as pain in the joints. 
  6. Tendon Sheath Inflammation: The fibrous tissue that connects the bones and the muscles is called a tendon. The presence of the tendon makes it possible to pursue activities like running, jumping, lifting, gripping and more. It is protected by a sheath known as synovium, which also lubricates the same. Any injury or tear to this sheath can cause shoulder pain.

Acute and persistent pain that does not abate and gets even worse should be treated with immediate medical intervention.
