My mother has hernia on her stomach. She has many stones in her gallbladder too. Doctors recommended surgery for my mother to remove gallbladder and to keep a fiber on stomach to avoid hernia. So it is good to get operations in this case? 2 operations? They must remove gallbladder for taking stones? No other options? She has pain in stomach always. Vomiting.Severe pain.

Actually you are suffiirng from gastro-esophageal reflux. In this condition the acid in your stomach is coming to your food pipe and some times to your mouth as well causing sour teeth. Treatment is very easy and major part of this treatment is diet modification like stop consuming spicy or hot food, limit number of coffee or tea intake, do not take bed tea early morning if you can not skip bed tea have it with biscuits, consume small amount of food every two hourly, avoid citrus food or fruits like orange, grapes, berries etc. Consume lots and lots of water. Do this for one month you will surely note change in your health. If you want to go for medicinal treatment then first you need to change your life style and let me know how effective it is. Then only I can plan for medications.

Hi I am a 22 year old female. From childhood itself, I was having so much of stomach problems like pain, diarrhea, constipation etc. My mom told that alternate constipation & diarrhea issue please started when I was just 20 days old. I was unable to walk speedly & run from chilhood because a cramping stomach pain develops. I was unable to participate in dance, sports and such heavy exercises. We consulted many doctors including gastros. Done ct scan, barium test, endoscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy etc. Ulcer and kidney stone was diagnosed when I was 18 years. It has got cured. But this pain while running and all is still there. It became worst within last 1 year after the completion of my degree project. It was done in a hilly region and was really tough for me. Now the stool is normal daily. I am 158 cms tall & weight is just 44 kgs. I was losing my weight because of contipation & diarrhea. But since it is fine now I started gaining weight from 36 kg to 44 kg. But stomach pain while doing jobs which require little power is the main problem for me now. There is a please tenderness in the right, left and top side(most tenderness) of my tummy button. One doctor told that it is due to weak muscles & muscle spasms. I can' t even stretch my body now. Please help me to solve this problem. Thank you for showing patience to read my problem

You are grieving over your father's death and that is very natural because you were emotionally attached to him and he's been around you all these years. Give yourself time to feel better. Especially if you were attached, dependant on him in some ways to feel better and get along in life. His going away was definite but I don't know whether you were mentally and emotionally prepared for this eventuality. Since he has passed away, now remembering how he contributed to your life and what he stood for in life will help you to remember him and keep him close to your heart. Doing things in the way he expected you to do and adding your own unique touch will help to move the family legacy ahead. Life and death are a part of life. New life springs from the remains of the dead. That's the rule of the nature. Some spiritual and religious sermons and speeches too help people to connect with their loved ones and heal an aching longing to be with them. Some people read religious text, some see their friends, or family guru. You decide what is your way to find a space to talk about your thoughts and feel better. If you are finding it difficult to do all this on your own, then you could see a counsellor who will help you to manage this emotional time. You could get an unbiased space to voice out your concerns, fears, and any regrets from the past and what could be the best way forward now. Emotional upheavals bring stomach upsets with them. Our gut is very much linked to our emotional state. You seem to be anxious and that is causing acidity and gas. See a doctor and get it checked out. Don't miss meals and eat on time. Drink a lot of water to combat acidity. Take care.

I start feeling a little pain near my left abdomen whenever I ran or walk too fast for a while. I have consulted a doctor he told me that this is due to lack of water in your body but this pain starts even after I have taken a glass of water before going outside. Thanks age: 23 male.

Your doctor is right. But drinking water just before does not help. You must drink water throughout the day. Avoid drinking or eating just before you run or upto 1 hour after your run. You can take few sips of water during the run though but avoid more than a glass.

Generally piles are not so serious and go away on their own after a few days. But they should not be ignored as they can lead to life-threatening conditions such as colorectal cancer. Piles can affect anyone at any age but they mostly affect elderly people, pregnant ladies, and those with spinal cord injuries. Symptoms include blood or mucus discharge after a bowel movement, pain during defecation, red and swollen anus and formation of a hard lump of coagulated blood called thrombosed external hemorrhoid. The good news is that piles at their initial stage can be cured at home. The piles home remedies given below are effective in the treatment of piles. Dried figs: wash 3 to 4 figs and soak them in a glass of water overnight. Eating this on an empty stomach early in the morning and then at night will definitely relieve the pain and swelling of inflamed hemorrhoids. And medicenes are abhayarista and chitrakadivati. Any querries inform me.

You may be suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome, IBS, which means your bowel gets irritated due to some local or psychogenic factors and causes frequent motions. Eat high fiber diet to form good volume of residual faecal matter causing good stretching of Colo rectal muscles and one single clear motion. Endoscopy may help in confirming or ruling out other reasons.

I have been suffering from lower back ache for more than 5 years. Consulted doctors. They are suggesting pain killers...
Hello, first of all you should know what is backache and by which factors it caused and aggravated. The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. There is hardly any movement. walking, running and cycling like activities are also not a part of our daily routine. To add to it, our diet consists more and more of junk food. Fresh fruits, vegetables and high fibre foods are consumed less and less. These daily practices lead to obesity. The increased body weight puts lot of pressure on the spine which has to bear all the extra unwanted weight. The back muscles which are already weak due to lack of exercise and wrong posture are unable to cope with this increased load. This causes pain in the back muscles. Management for Back Pain:-Along with medicines for relieving pain, one needs to identify the cause and correct it. This may require some medicines or some correction in your posture or reducing weight or improving your lifestyle. At the same time, there is a need to work on the local muscle strengthening. Back muscles need to be strengthened so that they can bear the weight of the upper body. For this exercises of the back muscles are very helpful. Regular walking is also very helpful as it is a wholesome exercise of the body, improves blood circulation and helps lose weight. Most importantly if you are overweight then losing weight is an important part of the whole treatment plan .Long term use of painkillers for low back pain is harmful Treatment for back pain:- Homeopathic medicines are very helpful. They not only treat the acute stages but are also used for the treatment of chronic back pain.Selection of the exact remedy depends upon the individual symptoms of the person. So share the complete symptom picture for the proper treament. In the mean time take Arnica 200, 3 drops in the morning and Rhus tox. 200, 3 drops at night for 7 days.Take care.
