Aprameyaji, If diabetes is confirmed with fasting sugar >126 mg and PP >200 mg /100 ml, then it can only be brought under control by using modern meedicine. No natural medicine can help. In India there are close to 7 crore diabetes patients and increasing day by day. If natural medicine were to be effective then every one should have been relieved of that disease. So aap unako samzaie ki modern davai lena hi sabase accha upay hai is bbimari ko control me rakhane keliye. And aap ko agar sahi salah chahiye to private question puch lijiye, janha mai poori jaankari de sakunga.

Can Severe Gas be a Sign of Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

MBBS, MD - General Medicine, DM - Gastroenterology
Gastroenterologist,
Can Severe Gas be a Sign of Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

Irritable bowel syndrome is a disorder, which generally affects the colon (large intestine). It usually shows symptoms like abdominal pain, cramping, bloating, diarrhea, gas and constipation. IBS is a long-term condition. It can result in sudden mood swings, depression and thus holds you back from living your life to the fullest. IBS can be controlled by managing lifestyle, stress and managing your diet. Medication and counseling could also be required to manage IBS.

Symptoms of IBS:

  1. Immense cramping and pain
  2. A feeling that your belly is bloated all the time
  3. Severe gas
  4. Alternating and sudden bouts of constipation and diarrhea
  5. Presence of mucus in the feces

Whenever you experience such kind of symptoms, it is always advisable that you must consult a doctor, so that it doesn't lead to a serious condition.

When should you consult a doctor for IBS?
IBS is not a chronic disorder and can be controlled by home remedies. It may also require medical treatment if the symptoms become acute and persist for too long. If you experience certain symptoms like rectal bleeding, weight loss and heavy abdominal pain that might increase at night, you may be at a risk for colon cancer. If such symptoms persist, you should consult a doctor as soon as possible.

Causes of IBS:

  1. Foods: Most people are susceptible to IBS if they consume foods like spices, fats, fruits, cabbage, beans, broccoli, cauliflower, carbonated beverage, milk or alcohol. These foods irritate the lining of the stomach and trigger IBS. However, the trigger may vary from person to person.
  2. Stress: Signs and symptoms of IBS can also increase if you are very stressed out. Stress makes your muscles too worked up and this may result in IBS. However, you should know that stress aggravates or triggers the symptoms but doesn’t cause IBS.
  3. Hormones: Women are more likely to develop IBS. Fluctuations in the hormonal cycle can trigger IBS. This usually occurs around or during menstruation.
  4. Other illnesses: Sometimes illness such as gastroenteritis (infectious diarrhea) or bacterial overgrowth in the intestines can trigger symptoms of IBS.
  5. Age: You will be more likely to develop IBS if you are 45 years of age or above.
  6. Hereditary: People having a family history of IBS are more susceptible to develop IBS.
  7. Mental problems: Depression, personality disorder, anxiety and a history of sexual abuse can also trigger symptoms of IBS.

Hi I am often suffering from urinary infection accompanied by sudden fever. I am regularly taking mortifer and tamcotin tablets. Yet the problem persists. I am diabetic to. Please advice for cure. I am 70 years old.

Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), MS - Urology, MBBS
Urologist, Ahmedabad
Dear , again first and foremost is to control diabetes very strictly and proper antibiotics. If the problem still persists then confirm or rule out urinary obstruc by usg and uroflowmetry. Even After ruling out obstruction and controlling diabetes then it is very likely that it is due to inadequately treated uti in the form of drug, dosage, duration and mode of taking medicines like with milk or after food or empty stomach. To cut the matter short you may consult urologist of repute. Dr. Kiran Mehta.

6 Foods We Eat At Wrong Hours That Harm Our Health

PG Diploma in Nutrition & Diabeties, M.Sc. Food & Nutrition
Dietitian/Nutritionist, Ghaziabad

As we all know, a balanced diet is very crucial for a healthy body, and eating healthy food with essential nutrients keeps our body nourished. But were you aware that consuming these foods at the wrong time can cause more harm than good? It is, thus, very important to be aware of what to eat at what time to maintain optimum health.

Read on to know more about the best times to eat these healthy foods.

1.   Rice

Dietitians always suggest that you must avoid eating rice at night since they are high in starch. If you eat rice at night, you might feel bloated and may have trouble sleeping.
It is also said that eating rice at night contributes to weight gain since it takes longer to get digested.

2.   Milk

Milk is rich in proteins and other nutrients, and thus, is considered a healthy drink. However, experts claim that drinking it during the day can make you feel lethargic since it takes a long time to digest.

What Is The Best Time To Drink Milk?

The best time to drink milk is at night since it relaxes your body and the nutrients get absorbed effectively.

3. Curd

Eating curd at night induces heat in the body and can cause acidity and other digestive disorders. It can also cause cough, cold, and mucus formation.

What Is The Best Time To Eat Curd?

Eating curd during the day is beneficial for health as it soothes the digestion process and helps in improving gut health.

4. Green Tea

We all love green tea as it has numerous benefits, but you can get these benefits only if you drink it at the right time. Drinking it early in the morning can cause acidity and dehydration because of its caffeine content.

What Is The Best Time To Drink Green Tea?

You can drink green tea any time of the day except early in the morning.

5. Apple

Apple is rich in organic acid. It increases the acidity level in the stomach. Therefore, eating it at night can cause acid reflux.

What Is The Best Time To Eat An Apple?

Since apple is a great source of pectin, i.e., a fiber that helps in smoothening the bowel function and eliminating carcinogens from the body, it is good to eat apples during the day.

6. Banana

Eating a banana at night can cause cough and cold and it can also lead to mucus formation. Thus, avoid eating it at night and on an empty stomach as it can cause stomach disorders too.

What Is The Best Time To Eat A Banana?

Banana is rich in fiber and aids digestion. It is also rich in antacids that are helpful in soothing heartburns. Eating it during the day can help in maintaining your energy levels throughout the day.

Now that you know the best time to eat these healthy foods, don’t make the same mistakes. Eat them at the correct time and stay healthy.

Why I am too short height person, I am 22, I wanna some more height, is it possible?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
Why I am too short height person, I am 22, I wanna some more height, is it possible?
We all are aware of the fact that our height increases up to a particular age and then it comes to a halt. Height increases up to the age of 18years in women and up to the age of 20 years in men. Increase in height is attributed to the production of growth hormone, called the HGH( Human Growth Hormone), which is secreted by the pituitary gland called the master gland of our body. It is rather difficult to increase height after reaching adulthood as the production of these hormones slowly stops. In most cases, the epiphyses of the long bones are fused as the last bits of cartilaginous tissue in the bones turn into solid hard bones. This prevents any further growth in longer bones. However, if the hormones are released naturally, increase in height can be observed. Increase in height at your age depends upon a no. of factors like 1.Heriditary factor 2.Recorded any increase in height in last 6 months 3.Amount of effort you are putting in for increase in height 4.How much serious are you for your height 5.Will you give 100% if I show you a direction 6.Just do your bit with full determination and leave the rest to time, exercises and medicines. Consult me Fast for Homoeopathic consultation as you short of time
