Today morning, my sister's menses has started. After that she started feeling uneasy. Then pain in and around stomach and also she was having difficulty in breathing. What is the cause for it?

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, MBBS

Today morning, my sister's menses has started. After that she started feeling uneasy. Then pain in and around stomach...
If breathing difficulty is during the pain only, without any previous asthma or heart problem, then simple pain killers will work well. If she is feeling weak and also getting fainting attacks, she should see a doctor to check her BP and pulse. Usually pain coming with normal periods coming in time, will be severe on the first 2 days. If it comes regularly every month, she will need an ultrasound and blood test like CA125. Best is to visit a GYN for correct diagnosis and treatment.

Causes Of Uterine Fibroids And Its Ayurvedic Remedies!

Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)

Causes Of Uterine Fibroids And Its Ayurvedic Remedies!

Uterine fibroids are benign growths, which originate in the walls of the uterus. They are also known as 'myomas' or 'fibromyomas' and their sizes tend to vary. You may not realize that you have a fibroid as they do not cause many problems.

The causes of uterine fibroids are:

  1. Hormones: Hormones that stimulate the uterine lining to prepare it for the menstrual cycle are known to aid in the development of uterine fibroids.
  2. Genetic changes: Genetic changes in the cells of the uterus may lead to this disorder.

Ayurveda is a natural method of treatment that focuses on using various herbal remedies to cure a disorder. The ayurvedic remedies for uterine fibroids aim to boost the immune system and balance the hormones in the body. This allows the ovaries to function properly and thus allows the uterus to remain healthy.

The various ayurvedic remedies for uterine fibroids are:

  1. Curcumin: This remedy helps the body get rid of the free radicals due to its high antioxidant content. It helps in reducing the inflammation in the uterus and thus treat uterine fibroids.
  2. Ashwagandha: Ashwagandha has medicinal properties that boost your overall wellbeing in addition to boosting your immune system. It is also known to improve the functioning of the brain and treat impotency.
  3. Diet: The diet should consist mostly of fiber and whole grains. Alcohol and saturated fats should be limited. You should eat foods, which are pungent, bitter and astringent so that the metabolism is smooth; this prevents formation of uterine fibroids.
  4. Lifestyle changesYou should restrict smoking and alcohol consumption as they tend to aggravate free radical damage in the body. You should also follow a regimen that incorporates regular exercise and a balanced diet. This will enhance your wellbeing and allow you to remain healthy.
  5. Panchakarma: Panchakarma is an Ayurvedic remedy that helps in correcting hormonal imbalances in the body. Correction of hormonal imbalances helps in preventing uterine fibroids. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an ayurveda.

Eat that. Unfortunately there is no way you can increase your penis except plastic surgery. However you must know that average indian penis size is 4 inches when erect and a penis of just 2 inches is sufficient to satisfy a female. Still we can try.

Does regular masturbation caused lower sperm count? And how produce more sperm? Is shilajit capsules help?

MD - Psychiatry, MBBS
Psychiatrist, Pune
Does regular masturbation caused lower sperm count?
And how produce more sperm?
Is shilajit capsules help?
No it will not cause a low sperm count. If you masturbate excessively it may cause the ramen to become more fluid and less thick. This has nothing to do with sperm count. Please be balanced on your approach to masturbation. Don't make it a habit. Masturbation required only if sexually excited. Regards

Sir my age is 25. Height 5 ft 11 inch. Weight 82 kg. I have a problem from more than 5 years. When I was in 12th one day I saw that I urinate in toilet and after sometime black ants (makode) get collected on it. They were 10 to 15. After that urinate many times, every time I observe that black ants get collected over it. Then I thought may be I am suffering from diabetes. Then I left that matter and forgotten it without testing. Then when you took admission in college my sugar level in both urine and blood was tested ,it was normal. Then after that from then to till today I always observed that wherever I urinate, black ants and other insects get collected over it. I also changed urinating places many times but everywhere I observed black ants. My sugar level in blood has been checked many times, it is always normal and urine test also been done many times. It is always normal. Please tell what is the problem.

Good Evening Mr. lybrate-user let me start dear, with saying, it's normal for human mind to ponder over things which sometimes seems trivial. What you have seen and observed, is actually very good indeed. It shows you have the patience, to actually follow through a plan okay now, let's get to the point. As you might know, urine is a cocktail of many things. Things our body discards as excretory products, from simple sugars to compound products such as urea, Ammonia, creatinine which are indicative of many processes in out body. Based on what I have heard from you, I would simply assume you eat lot of non veg and fatty products? Please don't jump to conclusions now. I need more information, before I can actually know whether it's normal or not. Anyways, here are some suggestions to help you get going through with your problem 1) avoid eating nonveg and outside fast food for atleast a week and let me know how it holds. 2) drink plenty of water, at your body weight. It's recommended to take atleast 2.5 litres of water per day 3) start eating cucumber, green leafy vegetables and coconut water. 4) get going on any kind of physical activity. Make sure you sweat atleast for 30 minutes a day try these things for a week and get back to me, let's not jump to getting clinical tests right away. Cheers

I am suffering from nightfall, and feel weakness please help me, what should I do?
Nocturnal emission or night fall is a term applied to the involuntary discharge of semen during sleep. In the beginning such discharges take place by an amorous and sexual dream and consequently erection is attained fully and semen is discharged. Once this disease is not cured, such discharges take place quite frequently even without dreams and erection. Nocturnal Emission is a one kind of problematic condition, which harasses the males at some point in their life. However, if this therapeutic condition gets worse over the time, then it can harm affected person in both ways, psychologically and physically. Furthermore, nocturnal emission is commonly known as "Nightfall" or "Wet dream". With frequent nocturnal emission males experience fatigue, low desire for lovemaking, problems related to erections and also premature ejaculation. Along with these problems others like back pain, testicular pain, burning during urination, irritated behavior and anxiety can also creep up. homoepathic treatment for night emission in men can not only stop nocturnal emissions but also alleviate side effects of the problem. Adult males generally develop this problem due to weak nerves, lesser muscular strength, fatigue, lethargic lifestyle, diseases and due to side effects of medicines. Also too much alcohol, smoking, drugs or too much coition, hand practice or erotic fantasies and thoughts can cause frequent nocturnal emissions.. HOMOEOPATHY prove best and safe method of treatment in order to cure night emission. Consult me for permanent cure by homoepathic treatment without side effects.

Hi, some curvature to the left is common for the penis. It occurs in almost 40% of men. This may need no intervention at all. There is no evidence that exercises can correct the curvature. If the curvature is severe and also painful, surgery may be needed. This should be assessed only through physical examination, but not online.

Advance Course in Neuro linguistic Programming, Diploma In Dyslexic Studies, Masters In Psychological Counselling

Lisping could be due to physiological and psychological reasons. Among the physiological factors are the functioning of the tongue, the vibration of the vocal cords, the cleft of the pallet etc. You need to first identify wether it is a developmental issue by consuling a speech language therapist (slp. Once that is ruled out then you need to address the psychological issues.

Diabetes, often referred to by doctors as diabetes mellitus, describes a group of metabolic diseases in which the person has high blood glucose (blood sugar), either because insulin production is inadequate, or because the body's cells do not respond properly to insulin, or both. It is a difficult task to control blood sugar in the desired normal range. Whatever we eat is metabolised to sugar in the body to provide energy for our daily activities. For the absolute control, one has to monitor his / her blood sugar at regular intervals (Self-Monitoring of Blood glucose – SMBG). Though difficult, this can be done by a glucometer and keep a record. Get an idea of Fasting sugar (FBS) and 2 hours after food (PPBS), & HbA1C (inform me) and check before dinner and after every major food. The basic idea is to reduce the food intake to 1/3 of what you take now. The dictum of sugar control is diet, exercise, diet + medicine and at later stage medicine+ Insulin will be needed. There are different diet plans of varying calories for each person depending on his activity & life style. For diabetes, hypertension (high BP) and many long-term illness control there is the need for regular advice and follow up. Just one time consultation or advice is not enough to guide a diabetic in scientifically & medically correct manner. For giving you regular follow up you ask me with all details like your daily eating pattern and medicines you take. I assure you a proper guidance. If you keep in touch personally. Your diabetes is better understood by a test called hba1c. But your current sugar levels are suggesting you are quite close to controlled levels. So for erection failure, stress could be the cause. Relax. Take a holiday with wife. You will find happiness.

Hello There, This issues is with my mother, she had one ear operation 23 year back by Dr. Raghav Saran due to water coming out and pain in Ear. All went well but after 10 years she start getting water and smells again, sometime its neck pain. We consulted 3-4 doctors and then went to Christian Medical College & Hospital Vellore and after test doctor said that she need to go for surgery once again because previous surgery got some issue thats why she is getting pain and water. We met on good doctor in Ranchi ENT specialist and he prescribed lot of antibiotic and tablet to make the wet ear dry for 3 months, it happens and then start again. We got appointment in AIIMS and they said no need for surgery go home, then to reconfirm we went to Dr. also said the same that no need for surgery go home. If want then do on your own choice. (May be they saw dry Ear that time due to Antibiotic tablet dosage) Now she is getting same situation that water comes out with smell and ear get wet, sometime its neck pain and sometime Ear pain. Can anyone please suggest from Doctors/ENT community, what could be possibility and what steps I should take. Hello Mr. lybrate-user i'm very disappointed after reading the story! Anyway, it seems to be a case of chronic mastoiditis as she is suffering from neckache associated with otorrhoea (discharge from ear). I advice you to try homeopathy for few weeks before going to surgery again. Several such cases are cured by homeopathic medicaments. If you feel interest then you can chat privately. I will be available to help you. Regards!
