Dirt, pollution will affect the hair. It will clog the pores on the scalp and will lead to dandruff. In this condition it is very important to oil the scalp and wash it regularly. Oiling has to be 3/week and washing everyday with mild scalp cleanser. Wearing scarf will help you to reduce exposure to dirt, dust. Hair fall will reduce as you will start oiling and washing. If it doesn't settle then it is important to consult trichologist.

Delhi Gets 72-Hour Pollution Forecast System - Know The Benefits!

MBBS Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery
General Physician, Faridabad
Delhi Gets 72-Hour Pollution Forecast System - Know The Benefits!

An emergency action plan has been devised for air pollution in Delhi. The Central Pollution Control Board has launched the Air Quality Prediction System that would forecast the air condition of the next 72 hours. This system would forecast for various areas and localities of Delhi and neighbouring regions like Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Rohtak, etc.

This pollution forecast system is based on the real-time observation of air quality using satellites. Satellites measure details of Aerosols like SO2, NO2, Dust, and particulate matter (PM10 and PM 2.5).

People can access air quality early warnings through the media corner of the CPCB website. It includes large-scale alerts on air pollution that may occur in Delhi.

How Is 72-Hour Pollution Forecast System Beneficial?

This new 72-hour Pollution Forecast System not only helps the general population prepare for bad-air days but also help enforcement agencies to gear up to take defensive action and warnings. For example, enforcement agencies may decide in advance to implement the Odd-Even system for cars, or put a halt on construction activity, or other remedial measures.

Diseases Caused by Pollution

Most respiratory diseases are caused by air pollution, some of which are:

Asthma: Asthma is one of the most common diseases that is caused by external and internal air pollution. In this chronic disease, inflammation and blockage occur in the air passage of lungs. Asthma is caused by the Sulphur, Oxides, Nitrates, Particulate Matter, etc.

COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease): Another chronic disease which is caused by air pollution is COPD. In this disease, the Alveoli, Air Sacs, and Air Passage become inflamed. People who work in mines, docks, or quarries are most likely affected by this disease.

Lung Cancer: Presence of various carcinogens in the air may cause serious issues like pulmonary or lung cancer. In this disease, an uncontrolled growth of cells reduces the amount of oxygen in the lungs. It also affects the functionality of the Lungs.

Cardiovascular Diseases: Breathing polluted air for a long time may lead to heart problems. Pollutants such as Nitrogen oxide, Carbon Monoxide, and Ozone mixed with bloodstream may damage the functionality of Heart and lead to cardiovascular disease.

Threat to Pregnant Women and Newborns: Air pollution adversely affects the health of pregnant women. Breathing polluted air by pregnant women weakens the immune system of unborn child.

How Can We Work Individually Towards Reducing the Pollution

  • Awareness about air pollution
  • Plant as many trees as possible
  • Use less electricity (conserve energy)
  • Curb unbridled industrialization
  • Reduce the use of personal vehicles
  • Reduce polyethene bags
  • Reduce indoor pollution
  • Do not burn firecrackers.
  • Use less machines for cleaning.
  • Do not burn the garbage and throw garbage at its fixed place.

Conclusion

Delhi is one of the most polluted cities in the world and both short-term, as well as long-term measures, are required to improve the situation. 72-Hour Pollution Forecast System is the step in the right direction. It will help residents know in advance about upcoming pollution days and also increase general awareness of this issue.

Soak 4-5 almonds in milk overnight. In the morning make a paste of them and apply it on your face and rinse it off after an hour or two. You will definitely feel the glow on your face in less then 15 days. (you can add honey, oats and yogurt for quicker results)

Whenever I masturbate, I get pimples over my face. What should I do? Is masturbation is good or not?

Whenever I masturbate, I get pimples over my face. What should I do? Is masturbation is good or not?
Masturbation is normal lybrate-user and pimples are usual in teen age due to hormonal hijack happening in this age. Anything excess is harmful to health. So be moderate and balanced. Pimples will go after some time and it will increase if you treat it locally after giving a transient relief. So if it persists for long you can opt for homoeopathic treatment if you wish a permanent cure. So take it easy.

Hello- You have a warm, moist area which is basically the end of your waste disposal units, you have two, one for liquid, one for solids. Out of these units come products that either smell after a time - urine or straight away, feces. These inevitably get splashed around a bit and even with the most efficient cleaning after a toilet visit, either urinating or defecating, you are going to get bacteria which in this environment are going to smell. Add to the other bacteria and potential yeasts and molds that can also grow in this region, you have a great concoction for a good smell. It can be avoided by keeping clean and also dry. The bacteria just want to have moist conditions so if you wear 100% cotton underwear, not too tight and that are changed regularly, you will certainly help. I dust with potato or corn flour sometimes and this also helps keep the area dry and smell free, especially if it is very warm. Do not, however, shower and wash too much and be careful with the soaps that you use - they should be designed for use on your genitals. Too much washing and definitely scrubbing can remove the good bacteria that are also there which like to eat the bad, so you need to find a balance.

There are no disadvantages for married couples having same blood group. If you are A+ and your husband is A+ also then according to genetic principles the baby born will have the same blood group as A+ and thus no complications shall arise out of it. In cases where mother bear a blood group with Rh -ve antigen and the father Rh +antigen then complications may arise because the baby inside Rh -ve mother may be Rh +ve due to carrying fathers genetic group. If you're Rh negative and your baby is Rh positive, your body might produce proteins called Rh antibodies after exposure to the baby's red blood cells. The antibodies produced aren't a problem during the first pregnancy. The concern is with your next pregnancy. Good luck.
