Hiiii drink water between meal. As in digestion which is grinding process in stomach required water. After meal to only one sip of water. B after 1/2 hr of meal drink more amount of water. B yess after drinking water sudden after finishing meal increase weight. So he to drink after 1/2 hr thanku.

Tips for weight gain:- Meals quantity/intake should be increase. Easily digestible foods like potato and sago should be included. Eat dried fruits, sweet, fried food (serving/ day). Fluids should not be taken or with meal but only after a meal so food intake is not reduced. •Emotional well being is essential to have a good appetite. •Constipation reduces the appetite so the bowel movement should be regulated with adequate fluids, exercise and fruits. •Synthetic drinks, soft drinks alcohol, too much of tea and coffee reduces the appetite and should be avoided.

Go for a five meal daily plan

It is ideal for you to eat small quantities of nutritious food regularly to reduce your weight. It is ideal for you to include at least 30 to 45 minutes of exercise every day to see visible differences in weight.

Have a breakfast by 8: 30 am in the morning and limit it to 250 to 300 calories.
Have a handful of nuts as a mid morning snack at 10: 30 am
Have your lunch at 12.45 pm and make sure it is only a diet full of veggies and fruits.
At 2: 30 pm have your afternoon snack that could be carrot sticks or apple with low fat peanut butter?
At 6 pm have the last meal of the day that includes a cup of vegetables before the meal? then drink water and follow it with a cup of rice and lean meat.

To remain healthy and Fit ,you should follow 3 steps in your life 1.BALANCED DIET 2.EARLY MORNING BRISK MORNING WALK for 30 minutes and 10 minutes evening walk after Dinner 3.DRINK 6-8 Glasse of water daily. As 60% of our body is made of water, it acts as a carrier of essential nutrients inside our body. Loosing as little as 5% of body's weight as water can cause headache, fatigue and lower your muscle strength. To stay healthy, an adult should drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday. Balanced Diet= 60% Carbohydrates + 20% Fats + 20% Proteins 1. Carbohydrates: Our main source of energy. Stored in liver and muscles. Carbohydrates are used the most by our body duringexercise. Hence, it is important for people who exercise regularly to consume a diet rich in carbohydrates. (a) Instant/rapid carbohydrates energy sources: Banana, Milk, Sweets, Sugarcane juice. Dear lybrate user with the limited information provided it appears that you are suffering form indigestion issues and constipation. It is advisable if you can start exercising on a regular basis 30-45 minutes a day along with intake of high fibre diet and liberal fluid intake. Try to avoid food stuffs made of maida and white bread, whole grain bread can be taken try with these life style issues first and if complains persist then revert we will discuss and start you on medication because every patient has a different requirement of medicine. It could be night-fall discharge of semen/prostatic fluid during sleeping (this could be common to some persons). Try not to indulge yourself in watching-porn (if you are doing so). Secondly do regular exercise in morning and take balance diet.

I am a male and 59. 6 yrs old. I have severe lower back pain near yhe tail bone. It increases when I lie down horizontally on my back. After getting up and doing some activity it reduces. This has been going on for the last two years or so.

Eczema - Causes, Symptoms and Treatments

Eczema - Causes, Symptoms and Treatments

Eczema is not a disease per se, but is a name given collectively to a group of medical conditions, which can cause the skin to become inflamed and irritated. Atopic dermatitis is one of the most common types of eczema.

Causes

While the exact cause of eczema is not known, the most commonly attributed reason is an increasingly sensitive immune system. The overactive immune system produces antibodies, which cause these skin reactions. It is also noted that people with allergies including hay fever and asthma are more likely to develop eczema.

Other conditions which can lead to eczema include allergic dermatitis, irritant dermatitis, stasis dermatitis, scabies, fungal infections, xerotic dermatitis, lichen planus and scalp infections.

There is also a genetic predisposition, and children whose parents have had eczema are likely to develop eczema.

Symptoms

In most people, eczema is present in the form of small blisters, which are filled with fluid and can ooze. Gradually, there could be dryness, crusting, scaling and thickening of the skin with plaque formation. The most common symptom would be itching. The different types of eczema as noted above would have diagnostic features. For instance, when testing for irritant or contact dermatitis, there would be an irritant that is causing this. Stasis dermatitis would have circulatory issues and often affects the lower legs.

In fair-skinned people, these lesions begin as red and then turn brown. There also could be lightening of the affected skin area in people with slightly darker skin.

Diagnosis

For a trained medical eye, diagnosis of eczema is not a tough task. A complete physical examination may be done to assess the extent of eczema spread. Blood tests may be done to test for allergies. In very rare cases, a biopsy may also be required.

Treatment

The goal of treatment is to reduce itching and improve moisturization. Eczema, unless associated with an infection, is not contagious.

  1. Using copious amounts of creams and lotions help in improving hydration and moisturization, as they are allowed to soak into the skin.

  2. Topical steroids may be required if allergy is suspected. In most cases, hydrocortisone and corticosteroid creams are very effective.

  3. Associated infections like scalp infections and fungal infections should also be treated with suitable products.

  4. Immunomodulator creams like Elidel are useful by suppressing the immune system and preventing flare up of the allergic reactions.

  5. Cold compresses may be used to relieve itching.

Prevention

Since there is a strong genetic component related to eczema, prevention is helpful.

  1. Constantly keep the skin moist and hydrated by using moisturizers, especially during winters.

  2. Avoid clothes and metals which can cause allergy- like wool, nickel, harsh soaps, detergents, etc.

  3. Avoid or be careful about food items which are known to cause allergies. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a dermatologist and ask a free question.

Hello, there can be many reasons behind it like *physical or emotional stress, inadequate protein intake, genetics, anemia, aging, hormonal changes, prolonged illness, deficiency of vitamin b6 and folic acid, thyroid diseases. *hair fall can also result when one indulges in too much drying, blow drying or use of hot curlers. *dandruff can also be great cause behind hair fall.
