Alcohol is a potent toxic material for brain. Your doctors must have advised you not to consume. Alcohol can precipitate seizure and it can reduce the effect of medicine also.

All antiepileptic medicines have side effects and there is no benefit of giving medicine which is not able to control the disease, so switching over to the other is good.

Battling Fatigue with Cell Salts

Heavy medication is often not required to treat fatigue. Homeopathy is an effective approch to deal with fatigue as it stimulates the body to heal itself. In most cases, simply replenishing phosphate cell salts in the body can have a beneficial effect and give you more energy. These salts help regulate disturbances in the constitution of a person at a cellular level. Phosphorus salts or phosphate compounds can be found in our body fluids, tissues and organs. These salts are essential for energy production, communication between cells and other regulatory responses. It is also vital for healthy bones, teeth and membrane structures.

Take a look at these five cell salts and how they can revitalize you and help fight fatigue.

Calcarea phosphate: This compound is a building block cell salt. It is essential for the healthy growth of teeth, bones and blood cells. It helps with a number of conditions created by structural stress and helps fight tiredness and restlessness. It is also a beneficial tonic for children exhausted by long periods of mental exertion such as studying.
Ferrum phosphate: This is an iron compound that is critical to the health of blood cells. By fighting cold, cough and slight fever in the initial phase, it keeps the body healthy and helps build up the immune system. When alternated with calcarea phosphate, the iron in this cell salt is absorbed more easily. Thus Ferrum phosphate can also help regulate the hemoglobin levels in the blood and reduce physical weakness and fatigue.
Kali phosphate: This potassium and phosphorus compound is considered as a nerve nutrient cell salt. It can be used to treat agitation and depression by calming the nerves. It also fastens the healing of damaged nerve structures. It can also help treat insomnia that follows a day of excitement and physical strain.
Magnesium phosphate: This is an antispasmodic cell salt and is also known as the homeopathic asprin. It is essential for well structured muscles and their connective tissues. Magnesium phosphate helps muscles move smoothly and can be used to treat minor spasms, radiating pains and to relieve pen up tension and cramps. It can also ease painful menstrual cramps.
Natrum phosphate: The body depends on this compound to break down acids and help with the digestive system. Thus this is considered as an acidity cell salt, which also helps with issues like headache, muscle ache, stiffness and fatigue.

My wife aged 59 years who is suffering from Diabetes and Blood pressure which remains under control due to meditation...
Why ativan is being taken at 11 pm? so naturally she will get sleep around 3 am. Why so late going to bed? as that is your main concern. You have to change the daily routine. She should have dinner around 7 - 7.30 pm and take ativan tab and go to bed around 9 - 9.30 pm for the medicine to be effective. To achive this she has to stop watching tv by 8 pm and read some books or magazines or meditate and maintain general relaxed mood. To do that other family members have to cooperate to maintain the peaceful atmosphere and help her in maintaing the timings. Do not get on to the bed until bed time. As she is practicing meditation, have it in the evening also and learn and practice" bhraamari" yoga practice morning and evening which will help her to fall asleep. For all this the other family members have to cooperate in closing the tv and maintaining silence. Change will not come in a single day, but by persistance she can have good sleep.

My wife (78) had brain stroke on 26 - 10 2013. She was in hospital for ten days in icu and sixteen days in ward. She is paralyzed on right side from foot to face. Physiotherapy is continuing. Now she is able to recognize people to some extent but not able to speak correctly. She says' karka karke karka' but not speaks the words as we speak. Because of paralysis she is confined to bed. Not able to sit, not able to move herself any of her limb on right side. Food is boiled daal, khichri and vegetable blend boiled and ground in mixer given by spoon every three hours (from 7 am to 10 pm) during which blood pressure, pulse rate, blood oxygen and body temperature are recorded. High is control bp is controlled between 150 and 100 mm hg using carca 12.5 mg. Other medicines being given are (a) in morning shelcal 500, aterva 40, crocine pain relief, methycobal 500, each one tab and noculi 2tab, along with livipil syrup 7.5 ml, and (b) in evening crocine pain relief, methycobal 500, ecosprin 75, one tab each and noculi 2tab alongwith livipil syrup 7.5 ml. Phensidyl is sos one tsp in case high cough trouble. Tests e. G. Urine routine and culture, kft etc are as advised by doctor from time to time. I think maximum details are provided. Please suggest improvement in treatment so that she can stand, walk (with/without walker) and can carry out her daily activities with no/some support. Thanks and expect your advice.

Shaking occurs as a result of adrenaline. That makes it hard to stop shaking once you've already started. You can't stop adrenaline. You simply need to wait for it to get used up and control your anxiety in the process. There are a few simple things you can try: •Jog Running may use up adrenaline faster, and help you stop shaking. •Deep Breaths Breathing slow can be helpful for shaking as well. •Yell While you can't do it in public, some people find yelling loudly to be somewhat therapeutic. Some people have trained themselves to shake less. Drinking water and eating healthier may help too. Some people shake worse when their body needs more nutrients or hydration. But in general, the only way to stop shaking is to stop the anxiety that causes it.
