Tips 1 Cut a potato into thin slices, utilizing a cutting knife. Apply the handful of water to the potato slices to ensure they are wet and put them around the areas having dark spots. Keep the potato slices on for 10 or so minutes. Tips 2 Cut a potato into small slices and soak them in a cup of cooking warm water. Keep the potato slices to soak for 30 minutes. Take out the potato slices and put in a tablespoon of lemon juice towards the water that's left behind. Chill the potato water as well as lemon juice mixture for 60 minutes. Apply the cold mixture straight to the dark spots utilizing a cotton ball. Wash off with water after 20 minutes or so. Tips 3 Peel as well as grate a potato. Mix 1 tsp of honey within the grated potato. Utilize the mask on your own face and permit it to dry for 15 minutes or so. Rinse them back utilizing lukewarm water.

Chapped or dry lips are a common problem that can be painful and unattractive. Common symptoms are dryness, redness, cracking, flaking, and tender or sore lips. Some of the main causes are vitamin deficiency, allergic reaction, dehydration, smoking, excessive licking of lips, sun exposure and harsh weather. Castor oil is good treatment for dry and chapped lips. • Simply apply castor oil to your lips several times a day. • You can also make a soothing treatment using one teaspoon of castor oil, one teaspoon of glycerin and a few drops of fresh lemon juice. Mix it well and apply it on your lips before going to bed. In the morning, wash it off with a cotton ball dipped in lukewarm water. Repeat this daily until your lips are healed. • Homoeopathic LIP BALM ( BAKSON LAB) Apply twice daily

Follow these best tips to get normal and natural pink lips:- 1. Moisturize your lips you must keep your lips moisturized if you want them to stay healthy and therefore pink. If you are going outside, try applying a bit of petroleum jelly or lip balm and if you are inside, use some milk fat (ghee). 2. Use pomegranate seeds and milk. Another simple way to lighten dark, dull lips and create a beautiful pink color is using pomegranate seeds. Crush up the seeds and mix it with some milk cream. If you apply this home remedy to your lips regularly, you will start to see them becoming redder and fuller. 3. Apply cucumber juice another great way to reduce any darkness on your lips is to apply a bit of cucumber juice. Simply slice a cucumber, rubbing it against your lips to allow the juices to soak on. If you do this for five minutes each day, you can lighten dark lips to a beautiful pink color. 4. Mix rose petals in milk. Rose petals are another one of the great home remedies for pink lips. Simply soak some rose petals in milk for a little bit of time. Then use the petals to make a paste, adding a few drops of both glycerin and honey. Apply the paste on your lips and wait fifteen minutes before gently rubbing it off using milk. This remedy can produce amazing results.

I'm having dark circles and hyper pigmentation on my neck. Pls help. My neck has really turned dark brown.

MD- Dermatology, DNB (Dermatology)
Dermatologist, Mangalore
I'm having dark circles and hyper pigmentation on my neck. Pls help. My neck has really turned dark brown.
Hi. Darkening of skin around neck is usually a sign of abnormal body mass index. So keep a check on your weight gain and blood sugars. Consult a dermatologist for creams and peel if required to reduce pigmentation. But most important is you need to start exercising if you are not doing it. Aerobic exercises are best than weights. Consume more fibres, reduce carbohydrates and easy sugars such as rice and chocolates and aerated drinks. Dark circles again may be due to multiple reasons. From lack of sleep, allergy, stress or pigmentation problems. You may require evaluation before getting a treatment for this. Take care.

For skin problems, we need to see the case to come to any conclusion. Without visualizing the condition, it is difficult to come to any conclusion regarding skin disease. So if possible, do visit the clinic or book an online appointment for the treatment. Fungal infection usually occurs recurrently, so the type of infection needs to be analysed. It may be either allergic, fungal, urticaria, eczema, psoriasis, lupus or any other disease. For this, you need to take proper homeopathic treatment along with maintaining of hygienic conditions.
