If you and your partner are planning to conceive, you should start taking folic acid before you get pregnant. Folic acid helps to provide the best health outcomes for your baby when it is growing. Taking folic acid daily before and during pregnancy also prevents the occurrence of neural tube defects, such as spina bifida, in your baby. You're most likely to get pregnant if you have sex within a day or so of ovulation (releasing an egg from the ovary). This is usually about 14 days after the first day of your last period. An egg lives for about 12-24 hours after it?s released. For pregnancy to happen, the egg must be fertilised by a sperm within this time. If you want to get pregnant, having sex every couple of days will mean there?s always sperm waiting in the fallopian tubes to meet the egg when it?s released. any queries consult privately

I don't recommend any hormonal cream. Some exercises, special oils for massage and one raw fruit powder of diospyros (east indian ebony) will take care of it but it's not overnight magic. Do it for sometime for sure shot response.

Common ways HBV is transmitted include: Sexual contact. You may become infected if you have unprotected sex with an infected partner whose blood, saliva, semen or vaginal secretions enter your body. Sharing of needles. HBV is easily transmitted through needles and syringes contaminated with infected blood. Sharing intravenous (IV) drug paraphernalia puts you at high risk of hepatitis B. Accidental needle sticks. Hepatitis B is a concern for health care workers and anyone else who comes in contact with human blood. Mother to child. Pregnant women infected with HBV can pass the virus to their babies during childbirth. However, the newborn can be vaccinated to avoid getting infected in almost all cases. Talk to your doctor about being tested for hepatitis B if you are pregnant or want to become pregnant. Hepatitis B infection may be either short-lived (acute) or long lasting (chronic). Acute hepatitis B infection lasts less than six months. Your immune system likely can clear acute hepatitis B from your body, and you should recover completely within a few months. Most people who acquire hepatitis B as adults have an acute infection, but it can lead to chronic infection. Chronic hepatitis B infection lasts six months or longer. When your immune system can't fight off the acute infection, hepatitis B infection may last a lifetime, possibly leading to serious illnesses such as cirrhosis and liver cancer. The younger you are when you get hepatitis B — particularly newborns or children younger than 5 — the higher your risk the infection becoming chronic. Chronic infection may go undetected for decades until a person becomes seriously ill from liver disease. Treatment can with medicines Interferon alfa-2b (Intron A) Antiviral medications. i.e. lamivudine

there are good chances of her getting pregnant, but considering her age she might not be having good quality eggs although she is having enough eggs which is why it is taking time for her in getting pregnant. Have faith in your doctor and do as her advice, still if she does not conceive within 3-4 months then should think of IUI or IVF.

Dear, For making regular your periods these are some instructions given below: • Take proper diet full of nutrition. Eat green leafy vegetables and seasonal fruits and a glass of milk daily. Eat a fruit daily. • Do Not take stress because stress causes imbalance in hormones of female and make your menstrual cycle disturb and make your ovulation disturb. Do some meditation for maintain hormonal balance. • Do jogging and running exercise daily. Start these exercise for 3 to 4 minutes daily then increase time slowly. During periods I get an major stomach ache what should I do?

MS - Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Gynaecologist,
Hi pain during periods in a otherwise healthy woman is due to hormone like substances called prostaglandins which trigger muscle contractions in uterus so it can expel its inner lining. So some pain, cramping & discomfort during periods is normal but women with higher levels of prostaglandins will experience more severe menstrual cramping & pain. Besides this some medical conditions of uterus can also cause pain during periods e. G. Endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic inflammatory disease, cervical stenosis etc. Presence of cu-t also can cause this.

Ms. Lybrate-user. If you have no health problems related to contraceptive pills you can continue the same. Once your younger one becomes 5 you can get a tubal ligation done.
