Dear Lybrate user. Please don’t panic. You must understand erectile dysfunction. There is nothing called erectile dysfunction while having masturbation. Loosing erection in the initial stages of sex or not having erection at all or having late erection or lack of sexual desire are called erectile dysfunction. Erectile dysfunction can be a sign of a physical or psychological condition. It can cause stress, relationship strain, and low self-confidence. The main symptom is a man's inability to get or keep an erection firm enough for sexual intercourse. Patients suffering from erectile dysfunction should first be evaluated for any underlying physical and psychological conditions. If treatment of the underlying conditions doesn't help, medications and assistive devices, such as pumps, can be prescribed. Yoga, meditation and diet could be prescribed once we know the basic reasons for it. Two natural treatments for ED that have shown promise are red ginseng and pomegranate juice. Ginseng is thought to increase nitric oxide production, leading to improved blood flow. Pomegranate juice is a potent antioxidant and can help too. Psychological reasons usually get cleared with sex therapy. I suggest online sex therapy. Take care.

I am trying to get my mojo back in life but nothing seems to help. Clueless about what to do? Not interested in my family business. Was in the showbiz world for a decade but nothing materialized to an extent. Been 19 months since working with my dad in the business but that doesn't excite me at all.

I had a oil face and getting pimples. What should I do to get rid of this problem?

I had a oil face and getting pimples. What should I do to get rid of this problem?
Do let me know if you also have blackheads with pimples? and what current medications and remedies you already tried to treat acne? acne is a common problem in teen. Almost everybody will get pimples during their teen years. First, don't try to self treat acne. Some popular nonprescription acne lotions, cleansers and other skin products can cause a serious reaction (rare), mostly it is normal to have acne in teenage. For pimples it's important to wash your face twice daily to remove impurities, dead skin cells, and extra oil from your skin's surface, avoid touching your face or propping your cheek or chin on your hands. Not only can you spread bacteria, you can also irritate the already inflamed facial skin. Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. A dietary therapy with the right medications for pimples can also help a lot. Kojic acid (a natural skin lightener derived from mushroom extract), arbutin (also called bearberry extract), and vitamin c (ascorbic acid) are great alternative ingredients to lighten scars left by acne. Don't use vitamin e or any self prescribed preparations on scars or pimples. Increasing the intake of omega-3 fatty acids through a diet significantly rich in fish and seafood results in lower rates of an inflammatory disease like acne. A low-glycemic-index diet also reduces acne risk. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. I will also suggest home remedies. Do reply back for private consultation for rx.

Hello, coconut oil itself is enough to stop hair loss, if it does not, you need to check other things like if there is any deficiency in your body that is stopping hair growth. Eating right is more important than applying right.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. If you have diabetes, then first and fore most is to achieve a strict blood glucose control with FBG:<100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. That will help maintaining an overall better health. For lower back pain there are a number of exercises which can be done by lying down flat on a mat - these include 1) Lifting one leg straight up from hip, holding it for five counts, then the second leg. This can be done for five sets, 2) Lifting both legs up to a 30 degree from ground, holding at that level for 5 counts, doing five sets 3) Cycling for 30 counts in each set, 3 sets like this, 4) Lifting the legs and touching the toes beyond your head, do it 10 times, 5) Turning the the legs inside out 10 times and same repetition from outside to inwards (difficult to explain) can be seen on TV in Astha channel, 6) Pawan muktasana, with one leg then with both legs. Like this there are many exercises which can help in stretching back muscles and help relieving the pain. Any pain iller is fine for a few days. Thanks.

Hi, when you are young, your face tends to get oily all the time, wash two to three times with an oil control face wash - medicated ones are better. Eat less amount of oily food and chocolates, we have a great acne regimen which controls pimples and other problems on the face

My cholesterol is high n because of that my weight is more need help to low my cholesterol.

My cholesterol is high n because of that my weight is more need help to low my cholesterol.
YOu have to avoid fatty diet and animal fat and do exercises to reduce cholesterol .To lose weight, you must burn more calories than you consume a day from your diet, if you burn 3000 calories, you’ll lose a pound a week. People who lose weight slowly, about 1 to 2 pounds per week, are more successful at keeping the weight off. You'll also burn additional calories if you increase your physical activity. You weight-loss plan should do all of the following: •Emphasize fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and fat-free or low-fat dairy products. •Include lean meats, poultry, fish, beans, eggs, and nuts. •Contain foods low in saturated fats, avoid trans fats, and limit cholesterol and salt (sodium). •Avoid refined sugars and processed foods. Some tips to help you lose weight: •Keep a food diary. Writing down everything you eat is critical! Noting how you feel when you eat will help you identify emotional triggers that may cause you to overeat. Emotional eaters tend to overeat. •Eat when you're truly hungry rather than when you're tired, anxious or stressed. •Eat slowly. If you eat too fast, you eat more than you need to satisfy your hunger. Your brain needs time to catch up with your stomach. •Plan your meals ahead of time so you make healthy choices. When dining out, check the menu online and decide what you will order before you sit down. Ask for dressings on the side. Opt for foods that are baked, broiled or steamed versus fried or swimming in creamy sauces. Avoid chips and bread baskets—they add unnecessary calories. •Stay hydrated. People often mistake thirst for hunger. •Eat breakfast. If you skip this meal, you'll be starving by lunchtime. You'll have more difficulty making healthy choices throughout the day. Find resources to help you keep track of your food choices and nutritional values and that can offer additional support when you need it.

Hi, lybrate-user I can suggest you to consult a psychologist for proper evaluation done. It's about how you see the world or situations. Happiness is within you. Check what is disturbing you we all have our highs and lows in life. Lets get on a call and discuss things further. There are many solutions that I can provide you depending upon your problems. Where you are stuck in your life .There is goal setting, relaxation improving Depressed and Low appetite. Through these techniques all your problems will be solved. Your situation might be due to some event which had happened in the past and you might be feeling that you are being lonely or looked by all when in social setting. This starts a cycle of depressed and not being able to work, you stop enjoying. You can take help of a psychologist who can help you in overcoming your sadly mood and breaking this pattern /cycle and also go in for relaxation therapy to help in feeling relaxed. And for appetite you need a good diet to improve.
