1.Reach for fluids. As with any illness, staying hydrated is your first line of defense against coughing. If your cough stems from a dry throat, a little hydration might be all you need. Even if your cough is caused by something else, drinking plenty of fluids is never a bad idea 2 Make the fluids warm. For certain coughs, such as ones caused by congestion or sinus drainage, warm liquids can be even more effective than cold or room temperature ones. 3.Try saltwater. Particularly in cases of cold- or flu-related coughs, salt water is your friend. 4.Consider steam — in some cases. Conventional wisdom often dictates that steam from a shower or a humidifier can help combat a cough; however, that’s only the case if your cough is due to dry air. If you’re coughing because of congestion, asthma, dust mites, or mold, among other causes, moist air could actually make your cough worse. 5.Stay upright. Being horizontal can cause mucus to drain into your throat. When sleeping with a cough, for example, you should prop up your head with pillows to prevent sinus drainage from pooling in your throat, causing you to cough. 6.Keep the air clean. Stay away from dirty air, including cigarette smoke.Particulates in the air could either be the source of your cough or worsen one that has other causes. Strong fragrances, such as perfumes, can cause some people to cough, even if they’re not irritating to others 7.Keep the air still. Avoid wind, ceiling fans, heaters, and air conditioners, because moving air can make coughs worse For medication consult online in private Blow your nose sparingly. Your natural instinct may be to blow your nose when it feels blocked, but the jury's still out on whether this is actually a good idea or not. Some studies have shown that forcefully blowing your nose can actually lead to a build-up of pressure and trapped mucus in your sinuses, which may become infected.[1] On the other hand, some experts claim that it is important to blow your nose when you're suffering from a cold, as this rids the body of surplus mucus, helping you to decongest.[2] As a compromise, try to only blow your nose when absolutely necessary Drink honey and lemon tea. This is a simple yet effective cold relief remedy that has been around for a long time. To make the honey and lemon tea, boil some water, pour it into a mug, stir in 1 1/2 tablespoons of lemon juice and two teaspoons of honey. The honey will help soothe your sore throat, while the lemon helps to clear up a blocked nose. The vitamin C is also good for fighting infections generally. Flush out your sinuses. One treatment for nasal decongestion which has become very popular in recent years is the practice of flushing out the sinuses with a Neti pot. The Neti pot contains a saline solution which is poured in one nostril and out the other. This thins the mucus in the nasal passages, allowing it to be flushed away. The saline solution can be purchased at most drug stores, or you can make your own. For medication consult online in private.

My 5-year-old daughter drinks water in large quantities, she urinates too much, she feels very thirsty. She was examined for sugar it was 110 without food. And 130 after food. I am very worried about her. Show me what I can do?

Too much urination could be due to many problems other than diabetes. The blood glucose you mentioned do not indicate diabetes. You will have to visit pediatric endocrinologist for further evaluation.

I suppose he is not taking any corticosteroid which increase desire to eat and induce increase in wt. If it is not I would suggest to consult pediatrician to rule out any hormonal disturbance and for consoling.

Hi, I am 33 years old. Just blessed with baby girl by major operation My problem is. I am trying to do breast feeding. Milk also come but my nipple is not in shape or in small size. Baby can not suck it due to my nipples. What I do? Today 6 day of delivery.

Nipple size or shape does not matter as long as openings are there as it is sucking on areola which expresses milk

No for a 4 month old baby only breast feeding is recommended. Motion takes time to attain normal frequency.

If your child is allergic to some food item or dust you need to take care and avoid these which might be reason for her cold and cough. You can start her with sitophaladi churna, mix a pinch of powder in one teaspoonfull of honey and give daily at bed time.

Nappy care:
1. Nappy should be made of cotton cloth, home laundered with mild soaps.
2. If affordable, diapers and super disposable

3. Diapers help keep skin dry, maintain ph, reduce risk of rash.
4. Diaper should be slightly loose to minimize contact between skin and urine and feaces.
