My friend has infection in or near the bone on her right side of hip and also in rainy and winter season she has severe pain from fingers to shoulder (nerves. Can you please help and suggest her.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

I suffering from a calf pain since 15 yr, gradually it starts from behind the knee portion and follows towards calf muscle and from there towards center of my foot. I have done mri, but there is everything alright. Please help me. The pain is in such a manner that I can't control my tears too.

Avoid prolong sitting and standing. Posture care is important. Avoid heavy lifting and forward bending. Take hot fermentation. Take rest properly.

Try few things for your back pain: - Apply Ice and Heat Heating pads and cold packs can comfort tender trunks. Most doctors recommend using ice for the first 48 hours after an injury -- particularly if there is swelling — and then switching to heat. You can use whichever you find comforting as long as your skin is protected. - Limit Bed Rest Studies show that people with short-term low-back pain who rest feel more pain and have a harder time with daily tasks than those who stay active. -Keep Exercising Activity is often the best medicine for back pain. Simple exercises like walking can be very helpful. But remember to move in moderation, Stay away from strenuous activities like gardening and avoid whatever motion caused the pain in the first place. -Maintain Good Posture most people have poor posture when going about their daily activities, putting unnecessary strain on their backs. -Strengthen Your Core Most people with chronic back pain would benefit from stronger abdominal muscles. If the abdominals are weak, other areas must pick up the slack. When we strengthen the abdominals, it often reduces the strain on the lower back. - Improve Flexibility Too much tension and tightness can cause back pain. By increasing flexibility you need to put an equal load throughout the body from the feet all the way up to the head. -Sleep the Right Way The amount of rest you get is important, and so is the position you get it in. Sleeping in a bad position or on a mattress without support can cause back pain. Back sleepers should put pillows under their knees. Side sleepers should place pillows between their knees to keep their spine in a neutral position. Stomach sleeping causes the neck and head to twist and can put undue stress on the back. -Use Relaxation Techniques Research shows that practices such as meditation, deep breathing and yoga, which help put the mind at rest, can do wonders for the back. -See a Specialist Developing an individualized exercise plan is essential to managing chronic back pain. Some patients need more core strengthening while others benefit mainly from stretching and improving flexibility. Please consult a Orthopedic Physiotherapist for the right exercise plan. Best wishes.

Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day.

Left sided position is advised in pregnancy as it helps to keep better blood flow to baby. But you can sleep on other side or straight too. You can just change position in between to feel better and relaxed.

Hello lybrate user Do back relaxing exs and hot formentation to relief pain and reduce stiffness cycle after that core strengthening exs. You can also take regular physiotherapy treatment for ten days after that start back stretching and strengthening exs.

Find a mattress with back support. A good mattress should provide support for the natural curves and alignment of the spine. Medium-firm mattresses usually provide more back pain relief than firm mattresses. -do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back -avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -stretching and strengthening exercises are important. -follow the sleeping posture what other doctor suggested.

I am 53, (1) recently got spondylitis on right shoulder. I have to work on computer for hours together. (2) my middle and 2nd finger, middle joint is paining when pressed.

It is of cervical spondylitis and meta carpal syndrome so do have clinically examined by neuro physiotherapist or orthopaedician asap and have physiotherapy treatment of tens of 12 days of 15 minutes duration and learn stretching exercise for cervical shoulder elbow wrist joints and do it regularly for 15 minutes per day once pain subsides or consult me privately via lybrat. My mother has severe n continuous joint and back and also frozen shoulder. Many doctors said dis is vit. D deficient that's y she had a pain. Her tests r done many a times but no arthritis found. I need to understand details about her back issues and which joints are involved with pain? also tell me the duration, and investigations done and treatment received till now. Also frozen shoulder is an issue in which shoulder movements decrease with attending pain, commonly seen in diabetics but association with other conditions is also present but frozen shoulder has got no link with vitamin d deficiency, it needs intensive physical therapy. Id she has not had any injury to the knee then at this age it is most likely to be degenerative pathology. This needs to be confirmed with xrays. Blood investigation to rule out inflammatory arthritis may be required if there is family history of ra. The first line of management in degenerative knee pain is conservative with physiotherapy and pain control with over the counter simple analgesic.

Show me your digital x rays continue with physiotherapy do hot fomentation. Any way take paracetamol 250mg od & sos caldikind plus (mankind) 1 tab odx10days you will need other supportive medicines also. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.
