Start taking black til (Seasam) with a glass of lukewarm milk early morning. avoid pickles, spices, oily, greesy food items. Start avle ka murabba. Also have a high protien rich diet e.g. Pulses, Dry fruits, Black gram, Ground nut etc. also oil ur hair with good herbal oil and wash with herbal shamppoo - avoid shampoos with high acid contents. As far as Ayurveda's therapy is concerned - start with Shirodhara with herbal oil and Nasyam therapy for atleast 15 days. This will greatly help. Do gentle massage with herbal hair oil daily night for 15 minutes. Although some herbal medicines might also help you but after proper history taking. Avoid all sorts of soaps shampoo and detergent chemicals, Use nothing too hot in winter and use nothing too chilled in summer. Avoid Junk food, spicy pungent highly seasoned food. Dandruff and hair loss may be due to various causes like Vitamin and mineral deficiency, fungal infections, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, Hormones imbalances and many other causes. For correct diagnosis and treatment, send me more information about your health. Have a head wash with Amla & Reetha Water {put some whole dried Amla (Indian gooseberry) & whole dried Reetha (the soap nut) in bowl of lukewarm water in evening and use its liquid to wash head in morning} If you have good faith in Homeopathy you can apply: Berberis Aquifolium Q 10% & Cochleria Q 20% in pure water for oily scalp. Internally you can also take - Can notharis 30 & Natrum M 30 (each thrice daily) Also take some vitamin and mineral supplements with Homeopathic medicines.

Sir please find me the solution for whitening of hair in early age also for hair loss for the same.
Most of the men hardly care about the shampoo they are using. I have seen a lot of my friends using a four-in-one shampoo, conditioner, body wash & automotive degreaser in one easy-to-use bottle for hair! Always use good hair care products and not just any scented shampoo. Add special hair care products to your routine and you’ll feel natural after trying it for a couple of days. Using specialized and good hair care products is a significant step towards hair loss prevention.

BHMS
Homeopath,
Now I am 23, why don't I have mustache & beard?
Hello. Gently move the razor on these areas. Medication: Start immediately with homoeopathic medication - Sulphur 200/ one dose daily in the morning for a week and a homoeopathic tincture called Arnica Montana and mix 1 tsp in 1/2 cup of water and apply upon the face on the beard and the mustache area with a cotton swab. Then use the razor movement technique as in 1 above. Repeat the above process every 3rd day and see the growth in 1 month. Take a red mushroom called ganoderma 5 gms. 2 times per day at 12 hours interval for 3 months. All the above would definitely help to grow the beard. (If possible, share the pictures with me prior starting this treatment. Want to see the condition).

Oily skin and summers: what is the ideal way to handle it?

Fellowship in dermatosurgery, MD - Dermatology , Venereology & Leprosy, MBBS
Dermatologist, Mumbai
Oily skin and summers: what is the ideal way to handle it?

Oily skin is a condition that can be characterized by shine on the skin and a large number of pores. The oil in question is a result of overactive sebaceous glands that produce excessive sebum. This can result in acne and blackheads. Summer is a time of the year where skin problems due to oily skin are worsened by factors such as sweat and dust. So proper skin care is necessary in order to negate the effects of oily skin.

There are multiple ways to handle this condition in summers:

1. Using cleansers - Proper cleaning of skin is a very important step in lessening the effects of oily skin. Harsh cleansers have an opposing effect as they facilitate secretion of oil, so a mild cleanser is usually the best option. Some cleansers may contain ingredients that irritate the skin, so care is advised in selecting a proper one.

2. Hydration and food - Keeping the body well hydrated in summers combined with a diet free of greasy, oily food and less fats can help in reducing the effects of oily skin.

3. Using masks to clear the face - Masks such as clay masks, yogurt, and baking soda can help in cleansing the skin by clearing the oil. It should be noted that these treatments should not be overdone as they can cause the skin to dry up too much and over secrete oil.

4. Skin moisturizers - People often have this notion that oily skin does not require moisturizer application. Selecting a moisturizer that is fit for oily skin and using it will help moisturize the skin and keep it healthy.

5. Sunscreen - Sunscreen is a necessity during summers, and the sunscreen you choose should be specifically for oily skin in order for it to work effectively. Application of sunscreen can help prevent the UV rays of the sun from penetrating the skin and cause complications.

6. Dermatological treatment - In case of severe oiliness, treatments such as chemical peels and creams laced with tretinoin can help.

Hi, my father is suffering from a disease, doctors report says suggestive of mylomalecia. Few doctors are saying its better to get the surgery done however few others says that it should be treated with medicines as their would be chances of improvement. They say a surgery would lead to the present condition of my father remain as it is forever. We are confused as we don't have any option apart from trusting the doctors. Please guide me.

Thanks for your query on lybrate. Com. As your father is having a progressively deteriorating condition of spinal cord and nerves, it is reasonable to give him a chance to halt further damage by a good neurosurgeon.

Just as your overall health will benefit from eating a balanced diet, so too should the health of your hair. Once it’s gone, it’s gone, so don’t put foods in your body that speed up hair loss. You may be experiencing a thinning on top already, but you can counteract this (or at least slow it down) by eating from every food group daily -- concentrating on foods that are rich in protein, iron, silica, and zinc.

I am 40 years old I am having blood pressure what I do ?

DM Cardiology
Cardiologist,
I am 40 years old I am having blood pressure what I do ?
Dear, High Blood Pressure What is hypertension? High blood pressure caused by a disease or another known medical problem is called secondary hypertension. Most cases of secondary hypertension are caused by kidney or hormonal problems. Normal blood pressures average 120/80 ("120 over 80") but can rise and fall with exercise or rest. The pressures are measured in millimeters of mercury, with the upper number (120) being the pressure at the end of the heartbeat (systolic pressure). The lower number (80) is the pressure at the beginning of the heartbeat (diastolic pressure). If repeated checks of your blood pressure show that it is higher than 140/90, you have hypertension. If your blood pressure is between 120/80 and 140/90, you may need treatment for high blood pressure if you have other health problems, such as diabetes. How does it occur? Many medical conditions, diseases, and medicines can cause secondary hypertension, including: ? narrowing of the arteries in the kidneys ? narrowing of the aorta, a large blood vessel that supplies blood to the lower body ? several types of kidney disease ? excess secretion of a hormone called aldosterone from the adrenal gland ? tumor of the adrenal gland ? Cushing's syndrome, a disorder in which there is too much corticosteroid hormone in the blood ? medicines such as estrogen and oral contraceptives ? abuse of drugs such as amphetamines, alcohol, or diet pills ? pregnancy. What are the symptoms? High blood pressure may not cause any symptoms. Even secondary hypertension may have few symptoms. Symptoms are usually general and may include: ? headaches ? dizziness ? fatigue ? restlessness and sleeplessness ? nosebleeds ? palpitations or an awareness of your heartbeat ? general feeling of ill health ? the need to urinate often ? round or "moon" face, excess body and facial hair, and weight gain if the high blood pressure is caused by Cushing's syndrome. How is it diagnosed? Your health care provider will ask about your symptoms and will do a physical exam. Blood tests, chest x-rays, and an electrocardiogram may be done. Your provider will want to measure your blood pressure on three different days when you are relaxed and not in a hurry and have not had alcohol for 72 hours. Your medical history is an important part of diagnosis. Your health care provider will ask about your personal and family history of high blood pressure and heart or kidney disease. How is it treated? Secondary hypertension is treated by treating the condition causing the high blood pressure. For example, if you have high blood pressure caused by Cushing's syndrome, treatment for Cushing's will lower your blood pressure. Your health care provider may recommend additional treatments to lower your blood pressure, such as diuretics or other medicines that reduce blood pressure. How long will the effects last? If the cause can be diagnosed and treated, your blood pressure should improve. If you are taking medicine to reduce your blood pressure and your underlying condition is treated, you may be able to cut down or stop taking the blood pressure medicine. How can I take care of myself? ? Always follow your health care provider's instructions for taking medicines. Don't take less medicine or stop taking medicine without talking to your provider first. It can be dangerous to suddenly stop taking blood pressure medicine. Also, do not increase your dosage of any medicine without first talking with your provider. ? Check your blood pressure (or have it checked) as often as your health care provider advises. Keep a chart of the readings. ? Don't smoke. ? Reduce the salt in your diet according to your health care provider's advice. ? With your provider's approval, start an exercise program that you can do regularly (such as biking or walking). ? Lose weight if you need to. ? Limit the amount of alcohol you drink. ? Try to reduce the stress in your life or learn how to deal better with situations that make you feel anxious. ? See your health care provider as often as he or she recommends. What can be done to help prevent secondary hypertension? Most of the conditions that cause secondary hypertension cannot be prevented. However, regular checkups can help detect many conditions before they become serious, including those that can result in high blood pressure.

E. G-i want to increase hight and weight. My hight is approx 5 foot and weight is 42 kg so what should I do?

E. G-i want to increase hight and weight. My hight is approx 5 foot and weight is 42 kg so what should I do?
If you’re aiming to gain some strength and build muscle, you must follow the points mentioned below: 1.Start exercising. If you’re a beginner, focus on bodyweight exercises like push up, pull up and squat. The basic push up and chin up are invaluable exercises you can do with very little equipment. Increase their difficulty by adding reps or affixing weights to your legs. 2.Consume a balanced diet. It's important to eat big meals to fuel muscle growth while you're training. You’ll need to eat healthy, whole foods that will nourish and restore your muscles. Consume all types of fruits, vegetables, grains, oils and dairy products. 3.Take adequate rest. Many people take this step lightly, but it's absolutely essential when it comes to gain strength. That means you won't be able to work out as hard or lift as much as you otherwise would, not to mention you'll be more prone to injury if you're feeling sleepy. Get at least 7-8 hours of sleep per night, possibly more depending on your individual needs, during heavy workout periods. 4.Increase protein intake. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Chicken breast, egg whites, fish, pulses provide you all the protein you need without containing any unnecessary fat. 5.Focus on compound movements. Compound movements are those which engages more than one muscle group. Exercises like bench press, squat, dead lift are great examples of compound exercises to gain strength quickly. 6.Lift heavy. If your main aim is to gain strength, you’ll need to lift heavy weights in the gym and thus, lower the repetitions of your sets. Moderate-rep sets are important when training for muscle size. However, to build strength, you're going to have to train with heavier weights, meaning you'll do fewer reps. 7.Limit cardio to once or twice per week. Cardio exercises like running, swimming, and biking are great ways to keep your endurance good and your circulation healthy. However, they aren't the best exercises you can do if your goal is to gain strength. Weight training requires loads of energy, and if yours has already been used up by a long run or bike ride, you won't have enough left over to give weight training your best shot. Limit cardio to once or twice per week so your energy reserves are ready to expend on building strength. Best of luck!

MBBS
General Physician, Faridabad
Doctor my friend has a black skin how he can gain fair skin say some home remedies.
A quick and easy solution can be found in your kitchen or your nearest grocery store — lemon juice. Lemons have vitamin C that can lighten dark spots on your face. It’s easy to apply. 1. Put some fresh lemon juice on a cotton ball and rub it directly on the affected skin area. 2. Allow it to dry and then wash it off with plain water. 3. Continue applying this dark spot removal home remedy for at least two weeks to get the desired result. If you have delicate or sensitive skin, you can dilute the lemon juice with plain water, rosewater, or honey. You can also use lime juice to get rid of black spots, applying it in the same manner as described above.

•Composite bonding is a way to repair chipped, cracked, decayed, discolored, misshapen, and gapped teeth. Composite bonding can last up to 10 years. •Veneers are covers for a tooth. The veneer is bonded to the front of the tooth, transforming the tooth’s appearance. With good care, veneers can last up to 30 years, so you won’t have to worry about getting it replaced regularly. You can have veneers placed on one tooth or a few. •If your tooth is chipped badly or you have pain when chewing or drinking, you may need a crown. Crowns are one of the most common restorative treatments. A crown is a cap that covers the tooth and protects in and approves the appearance. It acts as a strong covering for your tooth. When you get a crown, this prevents you from losing your tooth. Without a crown, a damaged tooth won’t be able to withstand the pressure of chewing. •If you have a crack in your tooth that has extended into the pulp,(i.e) if you experience any toothache, sensitivity, or swelling, the tooth requires root canal treatment. Some time after the root canal, a crown can be placed to protect the crack from spreading. Until then, you will be given a temporary crown to wear. Left untreated, infection can spread, causing abscess, bone loss, and other serious problems. •If you have a crack in your tooth that extends below the gum line, your tooth is no longer treatable, and the tooth won’t be able to be saved. You will need a tooth extraction, which means your tooth will need to be pulled. And then, you can get a artificial tooth like dental implant/FPD/RPD to replace your natural tooth.
