It is difficult to pinpoint the cause You have to get to the root cause to find out what is causing low iron and high triglycerides for fixing the issue. Your dietary history and detailed medical history along with lab tests results are needed to proceed further.

Hi, I am suffering from nasal allergy for the past one year. It is used to occur at early morning and at night. I have been prescribed fexofenadine hydrochloride tablets and fluticone spray. I took it for 3 months. I had relief while taking medicine. When I stopped taking medicine, I got my allergies back. Now I am experiencibg allergy almost all through the day. Please advice.

MS - ENT, DNB (ENT)

In this situation you should carry out some tests including a complete blood count and ige estimation. If it is high you should go for a comprehensive allergy panel - it is an expensive blood test that may pick up the substances you are allergic to. Avoidance of these substances can then help to manage your symptoms

How to cure this inflammable external hemorrhoids? Is there any need of operations? What are the foods to be taken to...
lybrate-user, If hemorrhoids are swollen, painful and bleeding, then most often surgical treatment is required. Now a days laser surgery is said to be a better option. Precautions to be taken are take fiber containing foods, plenty of vegetables, fruits like banana, less of spicy foods and occasionally if needed use of mild laxatives to avoid hardening of stools. Plus develop good bowel habits. In spite of all hemorrhoids may reappear. Thanks.

Mr Sridhar, Looking at your blood glucose readings, it is clear that levels are fairly high. There is no mention of HbA1c%, that would have given a clearer idea of the long term control. It appears that present treatment is not helping in achieving necessary control. There needs to be an upgrading of the treatment. Looking at your weight and height you have a BMI of 26.42 kgs/M2, (normal <23 kgs/M2). So there is need for weight reduction. If you are keen on controlling blood glucose effectively then please coe in a private conversation with details like Fasting, PP glucose levels (current), HbA1c%, dietary habits and extent of daily exercise, then I will be able to guide specifically. I am sure you are aware that controlling blood glucose as close as possible to normal levels is absolutely essential to either postpone or prevent long term complications of diabetes. Thanks

Sir my wife is suffering from low blood pressure from Last 5 days. Please suggest me some remedy for how to raise it naturally.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hi, Blood pressure is the force of blood pushing against the walls of the arteries as the heart pumps out blood. Hypotension is generally considered if systolic blood pressure less than 90 millimeters of mercury (mm Hg) or diastolic less than 60 mm Hg. However, in practice, blood pressure is considered too low only if noticeable symptoms are present. Causes: Low blood pressure can be caused by low blood volume, hormonal changes, widening of blood vessels, medicine side effects, anemia, heart problems or endocrine problems. Management: Meditation, yoga, or other mental-physiological disciplines may reduce hypotensive effects. Taking enough of sleep and rest. Treatment: The treatment for hypotension depends on its cause. Chronic hypotension rarely exists as more than a symptom. Asymptomatic hypotension in healthy people usually does not require treatment. Adding electrolytes to a diet can relieve symptoms of mild hypotension. A morning dose of caffeine can also be effective. In mild cases, where the patient is still responsive, laying the person in dorsal decubitus (lying on the back) position and lifting the legs increases venous return, thus making more blood available to critical organs in the chest and head. Take homoeopathic medicine - Schwabe’s Angioton/ 3 times a day for 1 month.

Hello Suresh, One very important feature I would like to know to make the diagnosis-do the redness and rounds come before itching or after itching, likewise, does the round settle down on its own or it stays like that? Depending on your answers I can suggest the most appropriate treatment for you and also will be able to diagnose the condition.

What is the causes of swine flu and how we stop this virus one person to another.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
What is the causes of swine flu and how we stop this virus one person to another.
Hi. Swine influenza is an infection caused by any one of several types of swine influenza viruses. Swine influenza virus is common throughout pig populations worldwide. Transmission of the virus from pigs to humans is not common and does not always lead to human flu, often resulting only in the production of antibodies in the blood. People with regular exposure to pigs are at increased risk of swine flu infection. Recommendations to prevent spread of the virus among humans include using standard infection control, which includes frequent washing of hands with soap and water or with alcohol-based hand sanitizers, especially after being out in public. Chance of transmission is also reduced by disinfecting household surfaces, which can be done effectively with a diluted chlorine bleach solution. Also, avoiding touching one's eyes, nose or mouth with one's hands helps to prevent the flu. Anyone with flu-like symptoms, such as a sudden fever, cough or muscle aches, should stay away from work or public transportation, and should contact a doctor for advice. Staying away from other people who might be infected, and can include avoiding large gatherings, spreading out a little at work, or perhaps staying home.
