Hello, this may be because of acidity/ indigestion/ gas you can take(if no drug allergy): Tablet Pantocid 40 mg before food once a day for 2-3 days. And follow care advises given below. Avoid food from outside, junk, fried, spicy fatty food take home made light food like moong dal, Dalia, chapatti also tell me associated symptoms like vomiting sensation, loose motion/ burning sensation in chest or any other symptoms are present or not? so that we can reach diagnosis. How to reduce blood sugar fasting my blood sugar 108 & pp 117 but I m diat 2 month diabetes & no tablets.
Lybrate-user, if mentioned sugar levels are without any medication then you do not have diabetes at all. For diabetes to be diagnosed fasting sugar should be >126 mg and pp >200 mg and hba1c%>6.5. According to current criteria for diagnosis you do not have diabetes.

lybrate-user ji. In diabetes when one feels tired ,we first need to check whether Blood Sugars are under control or not and if at all controlled then check for low sugars at any point of time. As high and more so lower sugars cause extreme weakness have a glucometer and regularly check sugars at home. And you are using stalopam for depression. Check your HBA1C and Renal function, electrolytes and complete hemogram and contact in private I will adjust the treatment.

Heart attack first aid

A heart attack is a medical emergency. Call ambulance or your local emergency number if you think you or someone else is having a heart attack.

The average person waits 3 hours before seeking help for symptoms of a heart attack. Many heart attack patients die before they reach a hospital. The sooner the person gets to the emergency room, the better the chance of survival. Prompt medical treatment reduces the amount of heart damage.

This article discusses what to do if you think someone may be having a heart attack.

Causes
A heart attack occurs when the blood flow that carries oxygen to the heart is blocked. The heart muscle becomes starved for oxygen and begins to die.

Symptoms
Symptoms of a heart attack can vary from person to person. They may be mild or severe. Women, older adults, and people with diabetes are more likely to have subtle or unusual symptoms.

Symptoms in adults may include:

Changes in mental status, especially in older adults
Chest pain that feels like pressure, squeezing, or fullness. The pain is usually in the center of the chest. It may also be felt in the jaw, shoulder, arms, back, and stomach. It can last for more than a few minutes, or come and go.
Cold sweat
Light-headedness
Nausea (more common in women)
Numbness, aching, or tingling in the arm (usually the left arm, but the right arm may be affected alone, or along with the left)
Shortness of breath
Weakness or fatigue, especially in older adults and in women
First aid
If you think someone is having a heart attack:

Have the person sit down, rest, and try to keep calm.
Loosen any tight clothing.
Ask if the person takes any chest pain medication, such as nitroglycerin, for a known heart condition, and help them take it.
If the pain does not go away promptly with rest or within 3 minutes of taking nitroglycerin, call for emergency medical help.
If the person is unconscious and unresponsive, (or your local emergency number), then begin cpr.
If an infant or child is unconscious and unresponsive, perform 1 minute of cpr, then call ambulance
Do not
Do not leave the person alone except to call for help, if necessary.
Do not allow the person to deny the symptoms and convince you not to call for emergency help.
Do not wait to see if the symptoms go away.
Do not give the person anything by mouth unless a heart medication (such as nitroglycerin) has been prescribed.
When to contact a medical professional or your local emergency number immediately if the person:

Does not respond to you
Is not breathing
Has sudden chest pain or other symptoms of a heart attack
Prevention
Adults should take steps to control heart disease risk factors whenever possible.

If you smoke, quit. Smoking more than doubles the chance of developing heart disease.
Keep blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes in good control and follow your doctor's orders.
Lose weight if obese or overweight.
Get regular exercise to improve heart health. (talk to your doctor before starting any new fitness program.)
Eat a heart-healthy diet. Limit saturated fats, red meat, and sugars. Increase your intake of chicken, fish, fresh fruits and vegetables, and whole grains. Your health care provider can help you tailor a diet specific to your needs.
Limit the amount of alcohol you drink. One drink a day is associated with reducing the rate of heart attacks, but two or more drinks a day can damage the heart and cause other medical problems.

Recently I have been shifted to a new place. And I am not well at my new place. I have cold and cough, what should I do?
Sometimes our body takes time to adjust with new environment specially water and temperature. This is generally due to low immunity. If you feel that you r having fever with cough and cold you should consult a nearby physician otherwise you may take sitopladi churna one spoon with honey twice a day for few days. Drink boiled or filtered water.

I having low fever from past 3 days and even body pain and even some feeling cold. Malaria or dengue symptoms?
Several things can be done to prevent cold: -Always wash your hands after coughing or sneezing into your hands, blowing your nose, after touching someone who is sick, or when using public restrooms or telephones. -Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough. -Get plenty of rest/sleep.Avoid people who have a cold or cold symptoms. -Drink plenty of fluids(veg/tomato soups, dal water/coconut water/herbal tea etc), and eat nutritious food(like sprouts/boiled eggs without yolk with milk). Avoid foods or drinks with caffeine -Treatment:A cold usually lasts for a week or two. Unless you develop complications, you shouldn't need medical treatment. -Gargle to keep from getting a sore throat.Take only lukewarm water to drink during the day -Use saline nasal sprays or nasal irrigation. -Tablet nasorest-p once/twice daily may ease breathing. -Do steam inhalation once or twice daily. -Complications like infections of ears, throat, sinuses or lungs must be treated with antibiotics. -Cough- For dry cough.Take syrup Alex-D.(1 tsp thrice daily) -Productive cough:it brings up mucus from behind the throat or lungs.Use syrup Alex. -Get chest xray done if cough lasts for more than a week and consult doctor immediately. -Head and Body Aches- Take tablet dolo-650 mg for fever once or twice daily get investigated by lab to confirm by dengue test
