I am 25 years old female and I have hypothyroidism since 6 years and pcod. What should I do?

In hypothyroidism:-- where there is deficiency of thyroxine hormone leading to sluggishness, tired feeling, weight increase, slow heart beats, intolerance to cold, swelling of legs, feet and face, difficulty in concentrating and at times in speech. Treatment for hypothyroidism is giving thyroxine tablets. And dose are according to level of thyroid for life time. Avoid bad habits . Avoid stress. Some Relax during work. Go for walk, Take plenty of water, high-carbohydrate foods such as potatoes, rice, pasta and bread. Nutrient-rich foods that improve your health may also benefit your thyroid gland, antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables more plenty of water: Blueberries, tomatoes, bell peppers, and other foods rich in antioxidants can improve overall health and benefit the thyroid gland. Eating foods high in B vitamins, like whole grains, may also help. flax oil, Selenium: Tiny amounts of selenium are needed for enzymes that make thyroid hormones to work properly. Eating selenium-rich foods, such as sunflower seeds or Brazil nuts, can be beneficial. Tyrosine: This amino acid is used by the thyroid gland to produce T3 and T4. Taking a supplement may help, avoid oily foods,junk foods, go for walk. Do Tests every 3 to 6 months. And consut doctor on time.

I am suffering from fever from last few weeks and also did not able to sleep at night. So please suggest something.

Hello, kindly follow health advises given below: measure your temperature and tell me reading 1. Avoid exertion 2. Take tablet paracetamol 500 mg after food (if no drug allergy) as and when required for fever more than 99 f (maximum 3 tablets with gap of 8 hr can be taken in a day) for 3 days 3. Lot of fluids to be taken 4. Take proper diet homemade food like moong dal dalia, chapatti etc. 4. Avoid wearing synthetic and tight cloths. Kindly go for cbc test and consult physician for further management and let me know what medicines you were taking and also tell me if you are having other symptoms like cough/ throat pain/ burning urine/ stomach pain so that we can confirm cause of fever.

1. Take bland diet, avoid oily, spicy, fried and junk food, 2. Drink plenty of water 3. Take one tablet of meftal spas ds as and when required after food up to a maximum of three tablets daily 4. Take one tablet of rantac150 mg twice daily before food 5. If no relief, consult doctor.

I have low blood pressure problem what should I need to do? I feel very cold and weakness in my body.

For low blood pressure, take lots of liquids as fluids increase blood volume and help prevent dehydration, both are important in treating hypo tension. Take little more salt in diet (if no heart problem or kidney problem). Medicines are required to treat low blood pressure that occurs when you stand up. Take coffee as it will temporarily increase the bp. Take adequate rest. Hope this helps you.

I don't have facial beard what is the reason for it and what I should do to grow my facial hair. I have little hair below the chin and near the ears but not on the cheeks. please suggest any help to grow my facial hair.

Hello, this may be because of acidity/ indigestion/ gas you can take(if no drug allergy): Tablet Pantocid 40 mg before food once a day for 2-3 days. And follow care advises given below. Avoid food from outside, junk, fried, spicy fatty food take home made light food like moong dal, Dalia, chapatti also tell me associated symptoms like vomiting sensation, loose motion/ burning sensation in chest or any other symptoms are present or not? so that we can reach diagnosis. Consult physician/me for further management

Hi 1) apply mixture of onion and lemon juice on the scalp, 2) take 200 ml of fresh buttermilk after meals, 3) take 30-40 black currants and 1 tsf of jaggery during meals, 4) take fresh juice of beet or pomegranate in morning instead of breakfast, 5) take 20 ml of bhrungarajasava and 2-2 tablets of leelavilas rasa and raktastambhak vati after meals, 6) use vatajatadi taila, do all these things for 30 days it gives you good result thanks.

Medicines like Shwasakuthara rasa, kanakasva, dashmoola katutryam, nayopayam, elakanadi, vayu gulika, dhanvantara gulika are few Ayurvedic medicines prescribed for asthma. If used judiciously they have no side effects at all.

My husband hás fever with splitting headache doc said it will go in3 days can I give him disprin.

Fever with headache can be due to viral infections like dengue which can cause decrease in platelet count. Disprin also has effect on platelet and increases bleeding tendency. Till diagnosis of fever is confirmed, you can safely give paracetamol (crocin) 650 mg 4 times a day for relief of fever.

This is the peak time of summer, most of the people suffering from Sun burn, dehydration, Loss Motion and Indigestion. Keep in Mind Take plenty of fluids water juice fruits etc avoid heavy meals and outside meal.

Take 12 gm of Coriender powder overnight soaked and boil in next morning cool it  mix with honey or Misri / sugar and little bit salt drink it 2-3 time in a day or more.

Is it ok to sleep after lunch in the afternoon for 1-2 hrs. Will I put on weight if I take a 1-2 hrs nap in the afternoon?

Yes, It is absolutely OK and in fact recommended to have a small nap in the afternoon. But the nap should last for 30-45 minutes. And you are advised not to recline too soon after having your Lunch. Give some time for the food to settle in your stomach otherwise it may cause heartburn and acidity.

Apply on lips bit juice (chkundar ka ras) 20 ml add 2 spoon hoeny (shahed) mix both end stair well end apply on your lips in night. Keep solution in frees. Preper weekly you may reduce 10 ml. End one spoon weekly.

I am suffering from less weight condition. How can I improve my weight by simple dite.
