Some tomes dengu/ malaria is detected after 4-5 days. You take rhus tox 30 in gloubles, 4pills every three hours. Euptarium 200 in gloubles. 4 pills twice daily.

Hello, You seems to be either oversensitive towards even slight pain too. Has your gynaecologist told you about any infection you are having? As any infection or inflammation also increases the pain, so do share reports with me. Medication: Start with Schwabe's Five Phos. and Alfaalfa Tonic for 1 month. Schwabe's Mag. Phos. and Colocynthis 200 - take them as SOS medicines during the time of pain only. You can take after every 2 hrs. After that get back to me for your status of pain.

Diet forweight loss: early morning-lukewarm water with lemon 1 glass tea without sugar + 2 biscuits breakfast-2 hard boiled eggs + 2 slice brown bread or 2 scrambled eggs + 1 slice brown bread+ skimmed milk 1 cup (240 gm) mid-morning-1 banana/1/2 cup melon/20 grapes lunch-brown rice 1 cup (195 gm) + chicken/dal (100 gm) + mixed vegetables 1/2 cup + salad 1 bowl evening-butter milk 1 cup dinner-1 roti + fish/ green leafy vegetables (50 gm) + lentils dal 1/2 cup+ raita 1 small bowl.

Hair while oiling,washing and combing will be there.Loosing 40 to 50 strands of hair/day is normal but if it is going beyond this then it needs treatment. Hair needs to be tested for growth and fall ratio.Along with this condition of root and shaft needs to be checked. Diet also plays an important role in hair fall.Eat food which is rich in proteins and iron.Drink 3 lit of water/day.Oil the scalp 3/week and wash it 3/week. Consult Trichologist if problem is persisting

Hi. My child is 9 years old. Her weight is increasing. To 43 kg Yesterday morning she had a small bowl of cornflakes went to school she ate tiffen as 4 breads and some bhujia. She came back home and ate 1 small bowl of rice with dal and ALU bhaji. At 4 o clock she had 1 packet of wai WAI noodles and at night she had 2 Roti's with ALU bhaji. She is drinking 1 to 2 litres of water. She plays on wed and thursday at school. She doesn't play.

Hello lybrate-user, Her diet is lacking in protein and more of carbohydrates. So include protein like dals, pulses,eggs. Avoid bakery products like bread, cakes,pizza etc Do not give same type of vegetables like alu bajjii both times. Include variety of veges in her diet. You can add vegetables in parathas also.

Hi, Follow these tips apart from taking medicines to avoid recurrence: - Do not keep your stomach empty for long durations, - Eat in small quantities frequently. - Avoid hot, spicy and oil fried food - Drink plenty of water in between your intake. - Keep away from mental stress and tensions, - Perform physical exercises daily and meditation helps to relieve mental stress and tensions. - Consume lot of fibre like raw vegetables, oats, fruits, sprouts, etc - Avoid excess intake of coffee or tea , intake of medicines on empty stomach. - Be careful about the food while eating outside. - Carry a small pack of biscuit or some fruits along with you for emergency. - Whenever you suffer from acidity, take the medications prescribed by the doctor for 2-3 weeks continuously until the wounds in the stomach gets healed completely. - Sleep at least for 8 hours a day. - Restrict the usage of pain killers and antibiotics frequently.

1.Eat high fibre diet like fruits, vegetables, beans, broccoli, cabbage, boiled/sprouted moong dal, whole grain bread, brown rice, cereals, pasta, multi grain chapatti, oats, fruits 2.Avoid foods which are high in fat. Choose lean meats like fish, chicken. 3.Eat on schedule 4.Drink plenty of water, 8-10 glasses daily, Avoid alcohol/caffeine 5.Take regular physical exercise 6. Stick to a regular timing for going to toilet. 7.Take 2 tsf of softovac SF/Naturolax powder with warm water at bed time or syrup Duphalac 15 ml twice daily for few days 8.If you have chronic constipation, you may have to do colonoscopic examination after consulting gastroenterologist.

Consuming a thing repeatedly turns into a habit and leads to addiction. Nowadays, most of the people including the youngsters are consuming the alcohol and tobacco which is really harmful to health. Once they start consuming and make it a habit they start depending on it and get addicted to it. This addition later becomes so difficult and impossible to end up. The more they try to end up with the habit, the more feeble they turn out. It is very much important and essential for us to know what are the sequels and effects of tobacco and alcohol.

BAD SEQUELS OF THE ALCOHOL

It destroys the inner coating of the intestines, liver and stomach
Elongated intake of alcohol leads to dysfunction in some cases
It decreases the ability, power of the muscles and circulation which leads to depression of the heart
It mitigates the powers of intellectual and memory
BAD SEQUELS OF TOBACCO OR SMOKING

Intake of excessive tobacco or smoking leads to disease such as
Bronchiogenic Carcinoma
Ischaemic heart ailment which is a cardiovascular problem
Respiratory problems like Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease(COPD) and Chronic Bronchitis

MEASURES TO OVERCOME ALCOHOL ADDICTION

In order to decrease the crave for alcohol drink a glass of orange juice before having breakfast or eat two to three oranges
Have two to three big cups of milk on a daily basis
Make tea using angelica herb three times in a day daily after having your meals
Take four to five dates, crush the dates and mix them in half a glass of water and drink this water twice daily for some months
Eat two or three apples in a day which will lessen the intoxication feeling which is caused by the alcohol

MEASURES TO OVERCOME THE DRUNKEN EFFECTS

Intake of frequent cold water
A tablespoon of honey three times in a day
Apply the cold cloth on the abdomen and head which reduces the intoxication
For those cases who vomit after consuming alcohol give them black coffee hot as much as he can drink
Mix three spoons of bitter guard juice in the buttermilk and drink it every morning for about a month
As we read this article we get to know that there are so many ways to overcome tobacco and alcohol addiction. So, it is never late even now. Follow the above tips and come out of the addiction though it may be a bit difficult but will give you the best results by making you lead a happy and a healthy life.

This is known as vasovagal syncope or postural hypotension. All you can do is some stretching in bed before getting out of bed. Check your haemoglobin, bp and sugar levels. I hope all will be ok. Nothing to worry if these stats are ok.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to actually have persistent back pains. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation.
