Hi Doctor, Good evening. This is Sunitha 24 years old. I am working in TechMahindra from 2013. I have PCOD from my college. When I consulted a doctor she suggested me to use KRIMSON 35 for 9 months. When I used I got periods normally and if I do not use it will be irregular. My weight is 60 now. My mother suggested me not to get periods with medicines but with natural. So I consulted homeopathic doctor and I'm under medication of homoeopathy from January. Please suggest me or help me how can I get my periods normally without using medicine. Awaiting your response. Regards Sunitha.

The average size of the erect/aroused penis ranges from 3.2 inches to 6.5 inches, but even lower sizes don't make a difference to the ability to have sex, please one's partner or have children.

I am unable to sleep properly. I got severe headache every wat should I do now I sleep only 3 or 4 hour in a day thats y I lost my hair I want to sleep well. please tell me something so that I can sleep properly.

MBBS
General Physician, Mumbai
Dear, it is best not to depend on sleep medicines for sleep disturbance as in long run, they lead to dependency and increased disturbance. Never rely on alcohol for sleep. Some people use alcohol to help them sleep, but that's not a good idea. At first, drinking alcohol may make you sleepy and help you fall asleep. But when you drink alcohol, you are more likely to wake up later in the night and have a hard time falling back asleep. This can leave you feeling tired the next day. The following tips help one to easily get into sleep: a) have bath regularly in evening after coming from work or before going to bed. B) do not engage mind in active work or stressful talking at night before bed time. C) do not engage mind in too much of computer work in night before bed time (for example, do not do stock market work in night). D) do not read or view illicit or pornographic material at any time preferably. E) do not take heavy meals in night. Best is to have heavy breakfast, lighter lunch and lightest dinner to maintain stomach rhythm which affects sleep. Vegetarian diet is best for good sleep. F) do not over engage mind in television in night. G) do not smoke cigarette, chew tobacco, tobacco containing masala, or similar intoxicants which can disturb rhythm of mind and disturb sleep cycle. H) no tea or coffee in night (preferably cocoa and caffeine containing drinks should be totally avoided for best results). I) listen to relaxing music and even then if you do not get sleep, then hear soothing stories or nice talks from our rich vedic literature. You may stream audio music and talks. J) read books which not only calm the mind but also nourish the thinking process, such as from our rich oldest vedic literature.

I live up a disciplined life -getting up early in the morning and sleep by 10.30 in the night. Regular exercise, pranayam is a part of my life. I take balanced diet also not spicy food. I have to take regular alopathic medicine for amebiasis and acidity. please tell me how to control this and increase my appetite also. I am 62 years old person.

PDDM, MHA, MBBS

Here are some home remedies to cure acidity.  - Skip the aerated drinks as well as the caffeine. Opt for herbal tea instead.  - Have a glass of lukewarm water everyday.  - Include banana, watermelon and cucumber in your daily diet. Watermelon juice is great for curing acidity.  - Nariyal paani is known to soothe the system if you suffer from acidity.  - Drink a glass of milk - everyday.  - Have your last meal at least two to three hours before you hit the sack.  - Keeping long intervals between meals is another cause for acidity. Have small but regular meals.  - Try to avoid pickles, spicy chutneys, vinegar, etc.  - Boil some mint leaves in water and have a glass of this after meals.

My sex organ is not working well. Means it is not come an operation on the time of Intercourse.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Take homoeopathic medicine - schwabe's damiaplant/ thrice daily for 4 weeks. Management: regular exercising keeps you fit and healthy, so don't forget to do it. Practice pranayam regularly for half an hour preferably in a garden early in the morning. Not to do these exercises within 4 hours after meals. One can have meals not within 15 minutes after finishing these exercises. These exercises are good for gaining and maintaining good health. Also, practice pelvic floor exercise or kegel exercise, consists of repeatedly contracting and relaxing the muscles that form part of the pelvic floor. It makes the muscles of pelvis toned and strengthened!

I got burn on my left leg through bike silencer hot took that and applying ointment is it keep that as open or get dressed on that area advice me.

M.Ch - Plastic Surgery, MS - General Surgery, MBBS
Cosmetic/Plastic Surgeon, Bangalore
It's always better to keep it clean and closed with a dressing done by a doctor. Keeping open is fine if you will wash wound and apply ointment regularly and make sure no dust or flies come on the wound. Also the ointment applied previous day is washed off before applying a fresh layer. But surgical dressing is the best for hygiene and reducing pain.

SOME TIPS TO HELP YOU SLEEP!

Insomnia ranks right behind the common cold, stomach disorders, and headaches as a reason why people seek a doctor's help.

Serious sleeping troubles sometimes can result in psychiatric disturbance breathing problems, or unexplained leg movements during the middle of night. If you can't easily fall asleep or stay asleep throughout the night for a month or so at a time, it may be time to consult an expert.

EXERCISE

Exercise does let you sleep sounder. But to help you fall asleep
faster, the best time to exercise is not just before bedtime, and
the type of exercise you should choose is not high intensity
training.

You see, when you train hard before bed, your heart works
harder, pumping more blood with every beat. High activity state
of the body means sleep is less likely. Your body also warm up
during exercise - whereas sleep is actually induced by a fall in
temperature of few degrees.

In short the best exercise to let you fall asleep better is a 20 minute bout of
cardio, done 5-6 hours before bedtime. Since the metabolic rise in body
temperature peaks by this time and starts to fall, you will catch the onset of
sleep just right.

* Avoid stimulants after twilight like coffee, colas, and even chocolate.
Don't smoke either; nicotine is a stimulant, too.

* Avoid alcohol at dinner and throughout the rest of the evening.

* Eat a light snack before bedtime--
for example bread and fruit or a glass of warm milk will do nicely
an hour or two before you hit the bed.
* Avoid sugary snacks that can excite your system or heavy
meals that can stress your body.

Welcome to a good night's sleep with this simple tip!
