My stomach is too fat and my skin is black. so what should I do for glowing skin face. Please tell me.
You cannot work on a specific body part. You have to work on overall fat loss and toning. Try to eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Include exercises that tone your back and abdominal muscles too. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets and singular ab exercises or ab machines will not give you targeted results. The fats will remain as it is. It's all about overall work out and balanced diet. A balanced diet is very essential for maintaining healthy skin. Avoid excessive intake of junk and proprietary foods. Include fruits, raw vegetables and fresh vegetable juices in your diet. Avoid smoking and alcohol. Avoid very oily, spicy and sugary foods. Drinking good amount of water and fluids is a must to help flush out toxins from the body. Drinking lemon water in the mornings can help clear the digestive system and avoid constipation. Avoid crash diets or diets that call for avoiding any particular food groups totally. Sleep well and exercise regularly. Applying antiseptic pastes like neem or honey is very helpful. Maintain hygiene.

Hello. The scars and the pigmentation on the face are treatable. It's better to get it examined first so that we can identify the type of skin, scars and if they are hyper pigmented, atrophic or ice pick scars. The treatment are of various kind like ranging from simple scrubs and mild peels for the face to the major interventions such as laser therapy, dermaroller, subcision or peeling. These depend on the type of the scars and which kind you opt for. You can consult me online or text me with pictures for further details.

Dear lybrate user, pimples/ acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory skin disease & develops due to blockages in the skin's hair follicles. These blockages are thought to occur as a result of the following four abnormal processes: a higher than normal amount of sebum production (influenced by androgens), excessive deposition of the protein keratin leading to comedone formation, colonization of the follicle by propionibacterium acnes (p. Acnes) bacteria, and the local release of pro-inflammatory chemicals in the skin. Neither can you stop the over-production of androgen or keratin protein nor can you stop the release of pro-inflammatory chemicals because all these processes takes place internally in your skin. However you can stop the accumulation of p. Acnes bacteria on your skin by preventing your skin from getting oily. Always keep a handkercheif with you whenever you go outside. You should wipe the slightest sweat from your face as soon as you perspire. When you enter your room from outside wash your face with an oil-free, non-moisturizing facewash. Take a less carbohydrate rich diet. Do some exercise daily. Along with maintaing the aforesaid rules you can also take homoeopathic calcarea phos 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach. Also you can apply homoeopathic mother tincture berberis aquifoium q on the dark spots on your skin which are produced after the resolution of the pimples.

Pimples or acne are common in your age. But if they are not treated properly, they leave behind black spots and scars. The medicines depend on how good or bad your condition is. For proper treatment, you can send your pictures here or show to a qualified dermatologist near you.

Anti Wrinkle Creams - Why They Don't Work Always?

Anti Wrinkle Creams - Why They Don't Work Always?

Skin care and beauty products are a multibillion dollar industry which has been known to use unscrupulous methods to ensure the success of their products. Not all of them are fraudulent as some specialist creams are known to be effective. The majority however is mostly a mixture of marketing gimmicks and very run of the mill ingredients which don't really do anything.

Let's look at a few reasons why most anti wrinkle creams don't work:

  1. Creams bought over the counter, barring non prescription ones, are mostly just moisturizers: When you buy a new wonder cream which is supposed to be beneficial for your skin and reduce wrinkles, all it may be doing is actually just moisturizing the skin. This results in smoother looking skin although the wrinkles are still there. This with the combination of the placebo effect makes you think it may actually be working to reduce your wrinkles.
  2. The use of marketing to make a product appear what it isn't: Anti-wrinkle cream manufacturers use clever ploys to market their product and make it appear as a magic solution when it isn't. Digitally enhanced photographs and the use of models that are gifted with exceptionally good skin may lure you into buying their product when it may not be effective for you at all.
  3. Lack of real ingredients: These creams lack the real ingredients for it to be effective anti wrinkle agents. Retinol is a regulated drug which is used in many high end creams and is known as the anti wrinkle drug. However, cheaper creams may not have any of this chemical and thus all the claims are complete hoaxes.
  4. Making expectations too high: The human body is meant to change throughout the years, but due to excessive and hyped marketing, many are led to believe anti wrinkle creams will work wonders on them. However, even the best cream can only do so much and thus it is important for you to have realistic expectations of any product.
  5. Wrinkle prevention is always easier than removing them: Leading a healthy lifestyle where you keep your body hydrated, and follow a proper diet and exercise well will do wonders for your skin. Keep your skin hydrated with light moisturizers as well and it will prevent more wrinkles from showing up. However, existing wrinkles will not go away completely but will remain minimized if you have a healthy lifestyle.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

There are four main factors which causes acne: Oil production Dead skin cells Clogged pores Bacteria Factors that may worsen the acne: Androgen hormones, certain medications (drugs containing corticosteroids, androgens or lithium can worsen acne), dietary factors, including dairy products and carbohydrate-rich foods — such as bread, bagels and chips — may trigger acne and Stress can make acne worse. Management: Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Use home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 20 days.

Use clear gel at night. Acne or pimples is due to oily skin. Few hormonal changes also causes. Certain food items like ice-cream, chocolate, sweets also increases it. For the treatment of acne or pimples we grade it depends on the type of skin lesions. As the treatment protocol varies depending on the grade. So, I definitely need photos of your face for proper diagnosis and treatment. Do online direct consultation or meet me in my clinic for effective treatment stratergy.
